    Good morning ladies.

We had a nice evening last night for OH's godson's 12th birthday. His almost 17 year old sister is causing them headaches I gather. I don't miss being the parent of teenagers!

Nothing much planned today. This weekend was the one we were to have spent in London meeting up with our New York friend and others. Due to her knee operation it was cancelled.
OH needs a new phone and we want to do some garden centre shopping. We have all weekend, which is quite nice really

Have a good Saturday, and safe home to Oma.

Good morning Nanto, Gem and all who drop by later.

It's a bit brighter today but still very cloudy and cool. But I'm taking Eva to Roundy Roundy later so cool is good. OH has said he's going to watch the Cup Final, in peace, without me asking silly questions! We've got nothing else planned for today or tomorrow so I'll try and get some more gardening done.

Gem, I can just imagine the conversations between OH's 12 year old godson and his older sister! All the fun of having teenagers, and they do eventually grow up. Glad you both enjoyed his birthday. Is your NY friend going to have her knee operation later? Enjoy your shopping - choosing a new phone isn't easy these days -they're so complicated!

Nanto - I hope the weather dries up before you go shopping.

Oma and B should be on their way home now - safe journey you two. I can't wait to hear all about your cruise.

Enfys - how is P today? Did you both enjoy your lunch out yesterday?

Plant - have a good week-end with your GD and her boyfriend. It's nice to spend some time with them and I bet you're cooking up a storm for them.

Daisy, GD insisted on vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables. I gather she misses her mothers cooking. GD cooked herself a stir-fry and I cooked a stir-fry with chicken for myself and her boyfriend. Not sure what we are eating today, she is already at work. I am going out to lunch with sil's mother tomorrow, I think she wants to re-pay me for taking her to the hospital. Yesterday afternoon I was at a tea party for the OLD FOLK in the village, the local middle school (where I once worked) choir entertained us, I love hearing children sing. It has been eating, eating eating lately. I am going to pop into a craft fair this afternoon.

Hope the Omas have a good journey home, not too much traffic for B's long drive.

Good morning all. Didn’t get out for lunch yesterday, I had a funny turn and felt awful. Ended up sleeping for most of the afternoon and felt fine later. Luckily P was feeling better so he was in charge.......I noticed he had something on toast for his lunch!

Very dull here, so pleased I did the gardening earlier in the week, all the pots look good. I’m going to have an easy day today, might sort my knitting stuff out but generally not much going on.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

                Oh what a shame Enfys.
Looking after, and most importantly worrying about a poorly OH has a big effect on a person.
Taking it easy today is a good idea xx
Plant, what are you doing amongst the OLD FOLK?!
Qwerty, I wonder if J will have all curls off or just trimmed? GS1 had lots of thick curls which I loved, but now he has it short so it can't curl and I really like it, more grown up looking for school and certainly easier to care for. Have fun in your 'cafe'

                  Morning/afternoon.

                  Sunny and blue skies here.

Just been to buy a paper and felt really warm

DS1 is here to sort out some paperwork from his ex-business which he left

Enfys I’m sorry you had a funny turn but glad OH felt better and could fend for himself.

Cooking lunch today at lunchtime as DS might be going this afternoon.

Enjoy your Saturday if you can.

Evening ladies we back home after a very long and troubled day ,
It started yesterday when we both developed a barking cough , then B started to throw up .

This morning the Ship developed engine failure resulting in us being 3 hours late into port ,

I then spent 1-3/4 hours in the baggage hall trying to locate our luggage as new baggage handlers hadn't put any bags in the row for each deck like they should so everyone was searching for their luggage resulting in chaos and anger , anger with Stewards and anger against each other , imagine 3500 passengers with a average of 3/4 cases each all trying to find their cases!!!

Then we had to stop several times on the way home for B to be sick then he had to park in the services to take a 30 minute nap he was so poorly ,
We realise now it was actually the Antibiotics the Hospital had gave him in case of infection , he's allergic to some and he started to take them last night , so we think it may be so with these

We were going to ring MR & Mrs Daisy but we were worried if it was a bug we could pass it on .

Anyway we home and it was a wonderful two weeks , I will tell you all about it maybe tomorrow when I get sorted , night night ladies I have missed you all xxx
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Welcome home, Oma. What an awful way to end your holiday. You really should have phoned us - we're both pretty good at fending off bugs, and Eva would still have given you a cuddle. I hope it was just B's antibiotics that made him so poorly and he'll be feeling much better tomorrow after a good sleep. What chaos over the luggage - I can imagine the levels of frustration, and docking so late didn't help either.

Sleep well tonight - we're really looking forward to hearing about your adventures when you've recovered from the drive home. xx

Qwerty - does J's new hair style suit him? I love little boys' curly hair, but I suppose it's part of growing up that they have them cut off. My GS2 has curly hair but his Mum always kept if very short, which looked lovely, but he's 14 now and chooses to have it just a bit longer on top and his lovely curls are back. It sounds as though you've had a busy day in the kitchen - but lovely to see the family.

Enfys - poor you, but you were wise to sleep and take it easy today. Well done to P for looking after himself, even if his lunch wasn't quite up to what he'd have had if you'd been able to go out.

Clover - how lovely to be having some nice warm weather. I hope you had time to enjoy a chat with DS when he came over - sorting out paper work can be a nightmare, can't it. I Hope it's all under control now.

Plant - I hope your GD will start to cook properly for herself - she obviously loves and needs her veggies. Enjoy tomorrow's lunch with your SIL's mum. What's this about Old Folk - you gatecrasher you! I love listening to children sing too, and it must have been extra special since it was your old school.

Nanto - I nearly always take a warm jumper or coat for the supermarket - it's often freezing!

I was really tired after Eva and I got back from Roundy Roundy - we didn't get to bed till after midnight last night and I find I can't do the late nights so well any more! I had a nana nap this afternoon, and woke up to find Eva had joined me!

Doesn't look like too bad a morning.
Had one hell of a day yesterday with mam. But will have to write about it later.
                                Off to get showered now.
