Afternoon ladies, well that was a fruitless journey no jacket, a couple of tops and some trousers but did manage to meet up with Dd , I bought a drink and sandwich and we sat outside at the back of her office overlooking the river it was very pleasant .
Hope the lunch was pleasant Daisy
Clover that’s a fair amount of appointments and a little bit of blackmail won’t her G , it must be very raw for you G having these check ups to find he might be worse than he was , I keep my fingers crossed .
OH is just how he is some days better than others it’s just the norm really, don’t worry about us.
Enfys poor hubby he needs to rest and get over it as he always does just takes time and your love

We had such a lovely day with our friends 😊 I will write about it tomorrow.
Feet up a bit before I go out to meet my friends.

Enfys I'm sorry P is having a hard time with the chemo at the moment 😞
Clover I know how you hate those checks for G. I would too.
Qwerty,I hope OH feels brighter soon. Not long until you jet off to Spain again is it? Something to look forward to 😊
You are very good looking after your SIL's mother Plant.

Gem, pleased you had a lovely day with friends. Hope you enjoy your evening.

Daisy, hope you had a lovely time as well.

        Qwerty,keep your chin up.

Plant, that was kind of you to take SIL's mum.

Enfys - I'm so sorry to hear P is feeling the effects of the chemo this time. I hope he can sleep as much as possible and not overdo things until he feels better. You do so well to keep to your normal routine as much as you can - I'm sure that helps both you and P. Sending hugs. xx

Qwerty - do you think your OH is just feeling a bit down after all the recent excitements - your birthday celebrations, Spain, twins' birthday an so on? Ihope that's all it is and this nice weather tempts him out into the garden.

Clover - all these appointments coming at once can be exhausting, can't they. I know I've said it before, but the Memory clinic appointments seem to make things harder not easier for you. But the good news is the Haematologist doesn't want to see you for 4 more months. Did you have a long way to go to the hospital?

Plant - I hope you enjoyed your morning and lunch. How kind of you to take your SIL's mother for her hearing aid check. If they can help her it might make things easier for her - less muddled.

Gem - it's been a proper social whirl for you today - just what you needed though. I look forward to hearing about it.

Ooops - I forgot to say we enjoyed our coffee and lunch out as well. Usually we travel with friends, but today the husband was playing golf at an annual event, so wasn't able to come. It was our turn to drive anyway, so my friend and I sat in the back like lady mucks and my OH chauffeured us! He was a bit naughty not wearing his chauffeur's cap, but we let him off.

It was a lovely sunny day with just a slight breeze that had a chilly edge, but warm enough to sit outside with a glass of wine before lunch. There were some really tasty dishes on the menu, but I fancied Scampi and chips, and they were delicious.

We got back about 3 pm and I did some potting on in the greenhouse till it got too warm in there. Then I went and lay on the bed reading for a while. What a lovely lazy day I've had.

Good morning. A bit of a foggy start to the day,but its gradually clearing.

Daisy,a lazy day indeed, just what you needed.

I want to tidy the outhouse today. Hubby says i will help you.
If he starts saying save this that and tother,he will need saving.
I'm determined it is getting a good clear out.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone who follows.

It's sunny here and promising to be quite warm - or is that just my wishful thinking!

Nanto - My OH is just the same - "it might come in handy" is his battle cry. To be fair "it" often does - if you can get to it with all the other handy stuff he keeps!! Good luck with your clear out today.

I want to get on with gardening today, but I need a trip to the garden centre first for mulching stuff and JI no 3 for the big pots. I might be tempted by some plants as well.

Have a good day, I hope the poorly OHs are feeling a bit better.

                    Good morning Nan2, Daisy, ladies

No fog here Nan2, bright and sunny. This is forecast the nice lovely day for while though I think.
I'm like your hubby, wanting to save things
I want to buy plants too Daisy, perhaps a job for the weekend.

This morning we are going to call in on my auntie. The usual Thursday afternoon routine of doing my mum's shopping etc for me.

                    Enjoy the nice weather everyone.

Very sunny here atm. Aqua has been cancelled again, not lack of lifeguards this time but a minor incident, whatever that means. I am going to get some compost too Daisy for my pots, bought some plants a few days ago. I usually call at my favourite cafe after Aqua so I will choose a garden centre in that direction.

I hope P is feeling better Enfys.

Good luck with the de-cluttering Nanto, fortunately my OH wasn't a hoarder and neither am I.

Oma and her OH will soon be back from what sounds a very exciting holiday. Are they staying overnight with you again Daisy?

Muted sunshine here but washing out in anticipation of good drying.

Daisy we have two hospitals.Luckily the one we went to on Tuesday was the nearer one, about twenty minutes on the bus then a ten minute walk (uphill unfortunately) “ They “ are digging the roads up everywhere at the moment ,gas works plus separate traffic light upgrades.Utter chaos on the roads ,long tailbacks ,single lanes etc. Plus the bus had to detour on the way home .Everyone’s moaning
I’m glad you had a relaxing day out.

Plant sorry Aqua was cancelled. Perhaps someone had an “accident” in the pool

                        Have a good day.

Dad rang at ¼ to 8, for me to go round as mam wasn't well.
Got home at ½ past 11. She perked up after a while.
Ate some breakfast and was a lot better when i left.

Hubby had started the clearing out in outhouse.
Then he got called out to help his brother.
It will be finished this afternoon.

Sun is shining now, but its a bit cooler than the last few days.

Plant when I worked at a leisure centre, a minor incident usually meant some baby or toddler had pooed in the pool!
I hope your MIL is OK now Nan2.

Auntie was bright and well this morning

Gem, pleased Auntie was well this morning.
Rang MIL about an hour ago,and she is a lot better.
She's earen her dinner, which is a good sign.

Outhouse is all done. just washed the worktops and hoovered the carpet we have in there.
And i tidied the freezer while i was in there.

Nanto - you have been a busy bee. Nice to get it done though, isn't it. I do hope mum is ok now - if she's eating she probably is, thank goodness.

Plant - what a pity about Aqua. What plants did you buy?

No, the Omas are going straight home from the cruise terminal. I think they dock very early so may as well make a start on the long trek home. (I think it's the skirting boards putting her off!! ) But we'll be here for their next cruise - and any other Grans setting sail from Southampton.

Clover - with the state of the roads and traffic, thank goodness you didn't have to go to the hospital further away! I know these repairs badly need doing but they all seem to happen at once! We've got about another 12 months of one road improvement still to suffer - it can become a way of life!

Gem - I'm pleased your aunt was in good spirits. Is she more mobile now? I only got one plant in the end - a Geum for the front garden - and lots of hard work in the form of mulch, compost, potting on stuff and grit for the little rockery. Really exciting stuff for back aching jobs.

The garden centre was heaving - but I think more people go there for coffee and lunch than plants etc. We were very good and came straight home!
