Good morning all. I had a really bad night last night. I was feeling really anxious, which is so unlike me. I am generally rather laid back. Don't know why I felt like that , I could feel my pulse racing . Very odd . I'm ok now, just a bit tired .
The butcher has been and gone so the freezer is nice and full again , lots of chicken pieces, stewing beef , lamb steaks etc, I have a kitchen full of ingredients but no actually meals so I must get myself sorted
Its very dark and wet here today , spring, where are you?

Oma. Good luck with the white trouser hunt in M and S , last time I was in there looking for a dress it put me in mind of the of the Henry Ford saying.... "You can have it in any colour as long as its black " Which seems to be the mantra that M and S goes by !

Well I went to M&S and I found the White trousers I was looking for along with a pair of pale pink ones,
I didn't intend buying pink as I never buy that colour in trousers but I have the ideal pink top to go with them
Im buying no more clothes , ive just filled two Bin bags to take to charity shop , shocking the amount we hoard

Good afternoon all. It started out nice and sunny today but now it is dark and drizzly, and quite chilly too.

Suoermarket shop this morning, we went early so it was nice and quiet. Then I had to go to doctors, I had a recall following some blood tests so didn’t really know what it was about. Short story is he has put me on statins as my cholesterol was up and higher than they like taking into account age, other problems etc. I’m going to try them and have another test in 3 months. Otherwise all was ok.

Funny how things like that take it out of me, I feel shattered now so I am going to do some family history this afternoon. I have nice new files and am sorting everything out which takes some time, but I enjoy it.

They have scheduled my tooth extraction for the 23rd April. I have to go to Stoke Mandeville, quite a long drive.

I am feeling a lot better. I did some housework this morning and a load of towels which I hung out. I have had a nice feet up afternoon though due to no school pick up.

Every cushion, every throw, the ammunition (paper balls) from a pea shooter game, every bit of Lego (there are vast amounts), two sets of Jenga, various banned crayons and paper pattern cutters, bits of cut paper,drinks jars and biscuit crumbs littered every corner of the lounge and the floor in between, but they were happy. 😆

Little cat is going for her scan at 9 tomorrow morning. Our local branch doesn't do these, it is the bigger one in town, so we have to be up and out to get her there across the traffic.

Busy morning for me today, craft morning with some WI friends and then I am taking my Sil's mother to the hearing clinic to get her aids checked. Sun shining hope it stays that way.

Good morning, Nanto, Plant and all who follow later.

Yesterday was Day 2 of the Whirlwind. How can two days of two well-behaved little girls and two dogs who see each other regularly tire me out so much! I can't ever remember feeling as exhausted as I was yesterday - I couldn't even eat the lunch I'd cooked. I managed to get to the end of the day and slept for 9 hours! So feeling a bit better this morning, which is just as well as we are going furniture shopping. I'm sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, and I'm feeling particularly bad about not getting in touch with a certain member yesterday.

I've only skimmed through here this morning - Gem I hope the scan brings good news for kitty.

Try to take it easy today Daisy!

Chilly start here. We felt so mean driving kitty all the way to the vet and leaving here there, with no breakfast. Hoping to hear something around midday.
I have my monthly reflexology treatment booked at 2, then we are going see GD's school play at 5pm.
DD3 and OH have arrived in Cancun for few days holiday. It was 2 degrees and snowy in Halifax and 22 in Cancun!

Morning all just to let you know I am officially knackered🤭 the twins went home last night after a 2 day one night stint, trying to get cleaned up now, have to take 2 tops back to M&S , pick up a birthday present that DS and family have bought but I chose it, looking for flights for June and had no time to come on here , packing as we are going away again tomorrow my birthday celebration at St Anne’s back on Sunday , Monday out for afternoon tea with the girls , and on my actual birthday DD is taking us out for lunch at my fave Italian Bibis it’s an amazing building
I will try and catch up through the night lol
Hope all is well I managed to read a few messages Gem sounds like you’ve be through an ordeal both with the cat and yourself , hope all will be well

I am aware about keeping chat in so many lines but sometimes it’s impossible, I don’t think I will get my journal written this week nor next but I will do it, all I can say is I think it’s on the cards for us to go 😀
I have booked to take my DD to Prague for her 40 th as a treat but she doesn’t know yet but it’s not till July busy busy globetrotter
