OH's 6 monthly hospital appointment was moved to next week (this happens frequently) so this morning is now free.
Golf for OH this afternoon. I will do mum's shopping and visit her.

Good morning everyone.

We seem to be stuck under never-ending cloud, although it's quite mild. It would be nice to see the sun now and again.

We should have been having our fence mended today, but he now can't come until Saturday. We've got a bit of shopping to do and Eva needs a good run, and I've rashly promised to set some spreadsheets up for OH. I don't think he knows exactly what he wants so it could take some time. but I hope to have chance to catch up on the last few days Chat. I might even start on the ever-growing pile of ironing.

The vet phoned. Thyroid levels good, urea levels high, but other kidney functions OK so her kidneys are probably doing OK for her age. They are a bit puzzled by the urea levels though which can also be a sign of intestinal problems. We will see how she goes after the 14 day antibiotics are done. I have to weigh her as well to make sure she doesn't lose any more weight. We feel she has been at this weight for a year or 2, so it's unlikely.

Afternoon ladies ,
Been a busy day , went to Morrisons then down to our local Hospital to pick B's meds up .
Our Pharmacy couldn't get a hold of them they are a specialist drug that have to be ordered in and there suppliers didn't have them , so we rang his Consultant and they arranged for us to pick them up from Hospital Pharmacy ,
Bit of a trek but had to be done .

From there as we were down that end of town we popped into Tesco , They are selling large Easter eggs at £2 so we bought 3 Smartie ones for the GC , I don't usually get them eggs just give them money but these were so cheap.

Came home and went to chat to one of our elderly neighbours who was sitting outside enjoying the sun , hes just had major Heart surgery and looks really well now .

Had lunch then B had to see Nurse for Bloods again , we just about to paint the Skirtings to get that finished before Dog comes tomorrow .

Nanto has Hairdresser been ? always feel better after a hair cut don't you

Daisy is Eva doing well at training , is she any more settled or does she still have her moments

Not our usual instructor at Aqua, she is a bit more of a keep fit lady, not so relaxing as our lovely Alice, who will be back next week. Called in the parade for one of their lovely coffees and did a bit of shopping on the way back. Since then I have put a chicken casserole in the slow cooker, made a fruit salad and stewed some apple and rhubarb. GD1 popped in, nice to see her.
GGS's 2nd birthday tomorrow, party on Sunday, all the family are coming here as we have more room. Would you believe my GS1, his father, has ordered a bouncy castle, not sure who it is for, probably himself and his brother.

Hope your dear cat will feel better soon Gemini, is it this weekend you are away?

Another glorious day (sorry if it's not so glorious wherever you are!)
I dropped a friends birthday card, in went to Tesco for mum, then had a cuppa and chat with mum. She was fine again apart from the constant repetition of stories I have heard 5 million times

Oma, cat eating and drinking well, she's a little star and a toughie! I got two of those £2 eggs from Tesco on behalf of my mum.
Plant, when I went to aqua we didn't like it when our regular instructor wasn't there. It is this weekend we are away yes. Just one night and our cat loving neighbours will feed and keep an eye on the cats.
Big and little ones will probably enjoy that bouncy castle

Waiting for Dog to arrive , my painting is done for now , fingers hurting so apart from some ironing I have nothing to do today .

Today is GS2 day. They have been potty training all week and he is doing well. A day of potties for us
DD will collect GD from school as she has to be there for a PTA thing, so no school run today.
Tonight OH and I are invited to friends for a meal.
DD2's FIL has his prostate cancer op today, so all good wishes for him.
