I hate early morning calls, in fact late night calls also . DS rang me late last night which made me jump at first but he was OK. He was just waiting for a lift to take him home from work as it was too windy to ride his bike .
Talking of phone calls , I had just put my rubber gloves on to tackle the bathroom when DD rang, she rings me once a week on her way to work for a chat.
After the call I put the gloves on only for the phone to go again so off came the gloves and I had a quick chat to my friend then back to the job in hand.
On went the gloves only for the phone to go again. This time it was my neighbour ( she is legionary with her calls ) , An hour later I finely managed to clean the bathroom
No after effects from my supermarket trip yesterday. Today I should be able to go round the block with OH.Our next door neighbours are having a fence erected between our gardens and have invited us to go round and have a look as we're planning one at the bottom of our garden.By the rate the bloke's going at, it'll be late afternoon by the time he's finished! Quite happy about them putting up a fence as they're not the best of neighbours. You may remember some years ago when they moved in they queried the boundary, existing fences etc.etc. Everything has to be the cheapest, then she moans if it's not done to her standards!
The washing( hung out by OH) is blowing on the line. The ironing may have to wait for a bit longer, unless I get an ironing fairy!
Lots of furniture shopping going on at the moment. Hope you're all successful!
Enjoy the day ladies whatever the weather throws at you!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
Theodore Roosevelt.
Everyone is/has been shopping for new chairs.
Not to be outdone,i ordered 2 cardigans from Damart yesterday.
Daisy, know what you mean about early/late phone calls.
Mimi, glad you got the bathroom cleaned eventually.
WG, pleased you didn't have any after effects from the supermarket shopping.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Busy morning for me doing jobs that should have been done ages ago. The mood came over me, very, very rarely happens.
Blustery here so we had a walk round the estate over the road instead of going towards the castle and sea.Sometimes nice to look at other peoples’gardens and houses. Tomorrow I have a hairdressers appointment so hope it’s less windy and no rain as I have quite a walk from the bus stop uphill all the way. When I’m finished I catch a different bus into town and a bus home from there. I need a bit of shopping. I have to leave OH at home as there is nowhere for him to wait. I leave his lunch and just hope he remembers to have it.
WG you seem to be doing well. How is the pain?
Clover it must be concerning when you leave OH, but then you need time to yourself. Hopefully he will be fine and eat his lunch!
What colour cardigans did you get Nan2?
I have to wait a bit longer for my carpel tunnel injection, as I have said on that thread.

Clover - when you have the urge, you just have to go with it. But I'm sure you're pleased with getting those jobs done. I hope G gets his lunch ok tomorrow, but you do need some time on your own.
Nanto - it sounds as though you're preparing for summer with white and pink cardigans, or are they for your holiday?
Wee Granny - you're doing very well - just don't overdo things. How is the pain? Are you sleeping ok?
I suppose it's better that early morning call was an unwanted sales call, rather than something wrong. It seems I'm not the only one who hates early/late calls. I don't mind calls up to about 11 pm because I don't often go to bed early, but the morning ones are worse.
OH has a hospital appointment tomorrow for his eye - an angiogram then the Consultant, then possibly an injection. I think we could be there all afternoon!

Daisy, i wanted a white one because it goes with anything. I will take it it on holiday.
I got the pink one because it looked a pretty colour.
A busy day for you and OH today. Hope all goes well at the hospital.
Our yongest is coming this afternoon, bringing his new girlfriend for us to meet.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Good morning, still very windy and rainy here. Hospital for us today, a long wait in between blood tests and seeing oncologist so well probably have our lunch there again. She will be pleased to hear how much better he is feeling and his hands and feet are looking good too. This break from chemo has done him good, back on it again tomorrow.
so that’s our day sorted, it will be mid afternoon before we get home so no other plans. Have a good day everyone, stay dry ☔️

Morning all, rain and wind back again. Aqua for me this morning and hospital appt this afternoon, so that takes care of the day.
GGS was his usual entertaining self yesterday. My DD is such a peaceful person and they were planting sunflower seeds, DD also takes him to a toddler group in the village in the morning. When we are all there he gets very excited and goes from one thing to another, his Papa makes him excited too.
Hope all the hospital visits go well.
I will pop back later.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Nanto I bet they are nervous coming to see you, well she will be
Daisy good luck with J's hospital visit
Enfys these days seem so long hanging around Hospitals don't they , but a must , good to hear his hands and feet are feeling better .xx
Clover hope today goes off without any problems leaving G alone , enjoy your little free time try not to worry about him too much xxx
WG how are you today ?
We have a busy day today ,
B has Dr's appointment at 9.30 his bloods show kidneys on the low side , this has been going on since his transplant he has had scans tests etc at Hospital yet Dr still sends for him instead of reading Hospital reports that its going to be a ongoing thing and he's ok
We then finally have his Hearing aids fitting at 11 , they have taken weeks , when he rang last week they had overlooked it , that's Spec Savers for you Grrr
We then have to do some Banking and take a top back to Matalan he bought and doesn't like ,
Then we must go shopping the fridge is on the bare side ,
Would have done it yesterday but had GS1
Good morning from me. It's another windy day here, and it looks like rain as well.
Enfys - what a nuisance having such a long wait between appointments. I'm sure the consultant will be pleased to see P looking so much better. Hopefully the next round of chemo will have fewer side effects for him. My OH's appointments are only an hour apart, but if he needs an injection we will probably have to wait ages. Still, I think the treatment he's had so far has been amazing and if we have to hang around for a couple of hours it's not a big deal. If we're not home by 5 my friend M will come over and let Eva out and feed her, so she'll be ok.
Plant - your GGS sounds a delightful little boy.
Nanto - the perfect white cardigan is so useful!
Clover - enjoy your trip to the hairdressers and try not to worry.
Oma - what an action-packed day you've got. I hope everything goes ok for B.
Have a good day everyone, and don't get blown away!
