Afternoon all .If you’ve been under the weather I hope you feel a bit better now.
It started off fine and windy but is now trying to rain.
Work this morning. It is fairly light work but I still feel exhausted and fit for nothing when I get home.
Tesco delivery came and I’ve made pancakes but that’s about all.
Had a letter from the surgery asking me to go in and discuss results of Echocardiogram I had a few weeks ago.As it happens I had already made an appointment for this Thursday to get some more info.so that’s worked out well.
Those ladies tempted to do some gardening I hope the sun continued to shine on your efforts.
Enjoy the rest of the day whatever you’re doing.

Sun shining today but cool wind. Been to collect OH's car this morning and wallet is considerably lighter, but it was still a lot cheaper than a new car!
Reading this afternoon, last for a few weeks sadly!
Went for pre-op assessment yesterday. I've never seen so much paperwork! The heart machine thingy wouldn't work, so there's me lying all wired up and half dressed while she finally decides to go and get another machine, which luckily worked first time. Then my veins decided they didn't want to give any blood. So I've got plasters all over my arms and the nurse decides to call a doctor. He ended up taking it from the back of my hand! So now I look as if I've been in a fight with bruises all over the place!
Was going to make some pancakes but short on milk, so they'll have to wait! It's only me that would eat them anyway! So not really worth the effort.
Window cleaner came this morning and now I can see how mucky the insides are! OH says I'm not to touch them until I'm fully recovered! Note, he didn't offer to do them for me!
Take care all those feeling under the weather and to those who have just recovered! xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

You have had quite a day WG, the windows can wait.
Well planned Clover, not long to wait. Should you consider giving up that cleaning job Clover?
Pleased to hear you are feeling better Nanto.
Had my lunch out with friends, now looking forward to a family meal this evening for my DD's birthday.

Good moaning each.
Everybody seems to be waiting! I hope all workers have turned up by now.
Wet and windy here.
I have managed several injuries to my hands whilst sewing the handbag yesterday. I have come to the conclusion sewing can be a dangerous hobby!
Another free day today, I will probably have to sew something else. 😁 I could clean the leather easy chairs or ignore them for a while longer. Ha! No competition!
Have a productive day ladies.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Good morning everyone.
Goodness WeeGranny, it sounds as though your pre op assessment could be worse than the op! I hope you're taking it easy today. Stand back from those windows!! Your little ones are going to miss your reading sessions until you're better.
Clover - I can understand how exhausted you feel - even light housework becomes hard, plus I'm sure you spend some time helping your ladies in other ways, and you have a busy enough time anyway.
It's all happening today! Plant's new cupboards and worktops, Gem's new stair carpet. Grauntie, with all that going on I think you'd better leave cleaning the easy chairs for a while. It's too much for us delicate Grannies.
Plant I hope you enjoyed your meal yesterday evening. What a lovely day!
Mimi - my seed potatoes are still chitting!
Nanto - I hope you are feeling ok today.
I think it must have rained hard overnight - everywhere is very wet. It's dull and cool, too, and far too wet to do anything on the garden. I dread to think what the allotment looks like!
I've got a quiet day today - nothing I have to do given that I can ignore the dog hairs, pile of ironing, several loads of washing etc, etc. I'll cook dinner for mid-day as OH and I are both out this evening. He's got a meeting and I'm taking Eva to an extra training class.

LOL, Daisy!
He is fitting now, having arrived at 10 past 10.
This afternoon my mum is coming to have her toe nails cut. This lady lives in my village and has her own business. She would travel to mum's, but mum prefers to have it done here. She will stay for tea. I hope we have no dramas, as I think the last two times mum ate here, she ended up having some sort of 'tantrum'
I will do mum's shopping and pick up her audio books today too, freeing up tomorrow
I hope the kitchen fitters come soon Plant and it goes smoothly.
I prescribe a feet up day for you today Daisy!
WG, when are you due to have your operation?
Maybe you need protective gloves when you are sewing Grauntie!
Clover, it's lucky you already had that appointment, it speeds things up. I'm sure your cleaning job must be tiring. You can't just say I've had enough and leave it until the next day as you can at home.
Any luck with chair shopping yesterday Qwerty?
