Enfys I think the waiting for results is worse than the treatment

Were they able to sort his rash out Enfys? I hope so.

There's some huge stuff going on with members on here. Thanks for your openness Clover & thanks for explaining Oma. WG I remember your OH being unwell but I didn't know his illness. Sometimes life can be so cruel. Hope you'll let us know how your back goes & your scan results when you get them. 🤞

I'm sorry today has nearly passed us by before I've had chance to pop in here. I went out early to pick Cooper up for the day because DS2 has been off work for 2 days with poorly GD2 and a bug of his own. His backlog of work was having backlogs of its own, so me having Cooper makes it easier for him to get into work early and not get interruptions. GD2 was better yesterday so she was back at school today. I had literally just put my feet on our door mat when DS2 phoned to say GD2 was being sent home from school as she was feeling poorly again. So back I went and stayed until Mum and Dad got home. They were late because of several customers coming in 5 mins before closing time. So it was a long day! Not quite the day I'd planned, but I felt so sorry for little GD2 - she looked so pale, didn't want lunch and when I said did she want to go and have a sleep she just nodded her head and trudged upstairs. Poor little love.
I'll catch up tomorrow. I hope if GD2 is still poorly her other Grandma or her Grandad will go and look after her.

As I cant really go anywhere I decided to give downstairs a good clean ,
All Paint work washed through and inside windows cleaned , scrubbed kitchen doors , they have handles so why is there always finger marks , they suspiciously fit B's size fingers but its never him

Good morning everyone.
Nanto - thank you. I hope so too - she looked so sad yesterday, not a bit like her usual giggly ball of mischief.
Clover - well done on finding a temporary solution, but I hope your iPad can be fixed. It's probably something simple.
It's very blustery here this morning. I rather like the sound of the wind howling round but it spooks Eva. She's sticking very close to me. OH has gone round to a friends to do some wood turning. What with one thing and another he hasn't done any for ages so I'm glad he's got a new project under way - they are making pens today!
Nana - I love your new avatar. What a clever little artist you've got - GS2 is definitely going to follow in Nana's creative footsteps. Sending hugs. xx
There are so many of us worrying about either our health, our OHs', our children or our grandchildren. Wouldn't it be nice to have a day off from our worries.

Morning all what a day !! Its mind though
I was going to go to town today but the weather has put paid to that, Apparently the weather has caused traffic problems and a half hour journey is now almost an hour so I'm staying here in the dry,
Daisy how is G, poor love its no fun feeling unwell.
Clover I hope the problems with the iPad soon gets sorted. I wonder did you have an update before this happened. I know going back a bit my iPad had a huge update and after I was locked out of the iPad. Luckily we have an iPhone shop in our town so I took it there and, as the fault wasn't mine, it was Apple's update, it was repaired with no cost to me. It might be worth taking yours to an iPhone shop
Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I am very late checking in, I didn't wake up until 10.35, I must have needed that sleep. I am meeting GD1 at Waitrose to do my shopping, she finishes at 2.45 so I have time to clean the bathrooms but not dressed yet.
We have a lot of poorly and worried GM's reporting at the moment, sending my love and hope for some better news for you all.

Blowing a gale here and pouring with rain. I have taken the opportunity to sort out our wardrobes and have a nice pile of things for the charity shop. Even managed to persuade DH to get rid of things too. Bonus!
Nana, you asked about DHs rash......the doc said it was a side effect of the chemo, which we knew, it was ok and gave him cream to soothe it. It’s not so bad today but doesn’t look very nice.
It is DH and DGDs birthdays next Friday so I wanted to plan a lunch out for them. Last night I managed to book a table at a very nice restaurant and am keeping it a surprise for them both, DD knows and she will drive so he won’t have a clue where we’re going. Fingers crossed he feels well enough, at least he hasn’t lost his appetite 👍🏼"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

That's good news Enfys re rash. Thanks Nan2 & Daisy for your kind comments. I needed that hug Daisy.😍 Oma I don't know where you get all your energy from. Well done you.
Was going to have my mammogram ( I call it my boob sandwhich) this afternoon but cancelled because of an upset tummy. I've rescheduled for March which is the earliest appointment.
By the way Enfys I used your Dr Seuss quote the other week with my GS1 who is nearly 8. He didn't want to go back home as he said he enjoyed his sleepover with us. He nodded, smiled & said 'OK'."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."
