Clover how is the iPad today, have you been able to get it sorted, I think our ‘gadgets ‘ are rebelling, our Sky qbox is stuck on the red recording button so it looks like we will have to try the good old tested theory of ‘ turning it off and back on again ‘ and see if that sorts the problem out. Just a thought, have you tried that with your iPad ?

Not sure what the day has installed for me yet as I am still in bed drinking a cup of tea, it all depends on the old back, will I spend the day once again walking like Mrs Overall I wonder?

I-pad is still rebelling. I've tried all suggestions . The problem is the text won't scroll up out of the way when the keyboard is on the screen.Hence I'm on laptop which is a nuisance as it is on it's last legs and a pain to fire up.

Nana I don't mind you knowing I have Non-Hodgins Lymphoma.I am on a Watch and Wait regime which is rather like living with a timebomb.

Nana, I hope you feel happier soon. Yesterday I had bit of an unhappy feeling day. Mainly thinking of all the people we know with troubles, and concerns about our lack of pensions etc! Trying not to dwell on any of it, as none of it can be changed.

Hoping Clover's ipad is behaving better!

Very wet here. I could hear it raining heavily during the night.
Mum and I are going to see my sister today, having put it off the last two Thursdays due to snow one week, frost and thick fog the next.
I will do mum's shopping and pick up audio books on the way to her.

Moring ladies , I was going to Morrisons today and then a lazy day , but as usual it never goes to plan ,
DD rang could we have Storm as his other Grandparents have very bad colds ,

So he is hear and B has gone to Morrisons for me ,
I Managed to get the ironing done , I washed yesterday and usually iron same day but other things got in the way so did that today
Then I have taken a pair of trousers up for B a bit of a job now my fingers don't hold the needle well and threading a needle is a adventure on its own even with a threader and glasses on

Its rained all night and that horrible grey dull sky looks set for the day .

Clover has the same as B Nana but it's at a stage where they prefer to watch rather than treat at the moment .
The thought of the day is if it's not moving and not causing any problems leave well alone .
That doesn't stop Clover worrying every appointment though as things can change xx

So sorry you have a worry about your own health as well as worrying about poor G, Clover and not to be able to have his support.

I got to the pool this morning to find that it was closed so no aqua. My phone did ring just before my alarm this morning but it cut off as soon as I answered it, I presume it was instructor trying to reach me. I had a car load for the tip so I continued on there, had a coffee at my favourite cafe, got the outside of the car cleaned so not a waste of time getting up early.

Sunny but a very cold wind here today.

Plant...my OH has CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia to give it its full name, which is one of the many forms of Lymphoma.At the moment he is officially in remission, but takes medication daily for the condition. I believe it's a form of thalidomide. This is keeping it at bay for the moment, but we've been told, that when this stops working, there is nothing to replace it! So we just keep fingers crossed that it is effective for a long time to come. I tend not to talk about it much because that's just the way I am. He was monthly bloods and sees his consultant every two months.

Clover, there are so many new drugs and treatments coming on to the market for Lymphoma, that I wouldn't worry too much. As long as the bloods are stable and your consultant is happy with you, then make the most of it. I do understand that it is a worry hanging over you all the time though. OH has what I call his 'grey days' when he's feeling under the weather, so I just let him be. We belong to the Lymphoma Association and that has been a great help in keeping us up to date with what's going on in research, new drugs/treatments etc.

Had my CT scan on Tuesday and now wait for the results. Don't know what's happening at Addenbrooke's, for the second time there was an empty waiting room and I was seen almost on time! Very unnerving. So used to waiting around in hot, crowded waiting rooms. Tomorrow I see the 'back man' who will be able to do something with this back of mine so I stop feeling like a very old lady!

Spent weekend at DD's. She was running in a charity race on Sunday and her OH was off for the weekend. So we were charged with GS and dog minding.

Oma...I'm sure you'll enjoy your cruise. Something to look forward to in this cold weather! We're trying to sort something out, but not got any further than talk about what we'd like to do!

Plant.....I hope you're tummy is settled now and you don't have any more bouts of it.

And I hope that all those feeling under the weather/ down/unwell soon feel much better and happier. The nights are drawing out and it'll soon be Spring !

Clover, I had not idea about your health issues but as has been said there are lots of different treatments now so try. It to,worry, easy to,say I know x

DH had his appointment with the oncologist this morning. She is happy for him to continue treatment and has ordered a ct scan which will tell us if the chemo is working, So keeping everything crossed, I hate waiting for the results.

Good luck for your results WG, there are so many of us in similar situations.
