Hope results all good from hospital.....when you get them, Gem!

Been to Art this afternoon and started on my new masterpiece!

Just heard that the local primary may be closed all week due to a serious problem with the heating.............so no reading for me this week. OH has just suggested we go out for lunch, but I think he may have forgotten his car is in for its MOT tomorrow and he won't want to go too far in case the garage need to contact him. We shall see.

OH's consultant used to be dreadful at keeping time and we'd sit around for ages. However, now that he only sees him every 2 months, we usually get one of the first appointments and don't have to hang around. We still have to go in early for bloods and then the consultant sees him about an hour and a half later.

Not quite so cold here today but sleet/snow forecast for tomorrow.

Dd has had to come home from work eldest was ill at school she wasn’t herself yesterday complained of tummy ache and didn’t go to swimming lessons Saturday, now eldest g/s has sickness bug , watch out grandmas it’s on its way again 🤮

Well I missed chatting again today so here I am again in the early hours. Did a little bit of shopping but somehow can't seem to muster up any enthusiasm on the two embroideries waiting to be made. I think I need a kick up the backside.

GS1 from school as usual today, but I am going early to hear readers in his class, which will be interesting. I haven't done that since I worked in primary schools, some 20 years ago!

Not much else on today except filling my car with petrol going to the library and phoning mum. Golf day for OH.

Sunny and frosty here this morning, going to pop out this morning, I bought the wrong size bin bags for my kitchen bin and it is annoying me, might have lunch at our local cafe.

We got back from town about an hour ago.
Managed to get all that we went for.
Stocked up at the butchers,so must go and get it sorted for the freezer.

Hello ladies .
Had quite a busy morning , went to Metro centre to pick up my watch strap I ordered from Swarovski ( £ 30 ) shocking isn't it .
we then went to Debannans to buy a Bolero top I wanted to go with the dress I bought for Martin's wedding only to discover it's a online purchase only so had to order it when I came home
Then we went to IKEA for Breakfast and of course had to get some napkins while I was there only two packs though as I have 4 already in

From there we went to B & M to pick up a new bedside drawers for spare room and they were just putting sale tags on a lovely white Maniquin dress stand only two left so reduced to £5 well would be rude not to buy it wouldn't it so that will standin corner of my new spare room . Just have to pick new headboard up this afternoon and it's all finished .
Back home having 5 mins on hear catch up with the world , will be back later xx

We now have about 3 inches of snow, family are all out, hope the roads are okay. Just a call from GD1, she has been to the yard to put the horse she rents back into the stable, she and her boyfriend are on their way back here in separate cars. The snow was not forecast, very large flakes and the sky is still full of it. Bet the children were excited when they came out of school. The television keeps breaking up, I wonder if there is a lot of snow on the aerial.

Snowing here at DD1's. Driving in the dark and snow I do NOT like, so I am hoping it doesn't settle.

Snow causing havoc on the roads here. Daughter, son-in-law, GD1 and her boyfriend are not able to get back home. Not heard from DD and sil yet but GD2 is staying in London with her boyfriend, GD1 and boyfriend have turned back and are in a pub over the road from DS and Dil's house with GS4 who is the only one home. I have lost my Sky signal, presumably there is snow on the aerial. It caught everyone by surprise, no sign of gritters out. I shall be pleased when they are home safe.
