Thank you for my card ladies, very Christmassy πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸ€ΆπŸ»
I keep putting off the wrapping and I still have two days...I would rather do the ironing! Any wrapping volunteers? I’ll do your ironing. 😁

            Morning Nanto and followers.

I’ll add my thanks for e-card.

It’s misty and drizzly here this morning.

Unfortunately OH has developed a horrible cough and cold. He rarely has a cold so the timing of this one is less than perfect. What with this and my black eye we are a right old pair

Not a lot of plans for today. Just put a gammon in the slow cooker and then a bit of washing.I also want to give the kitchen a β€œgood going over”.

I hope you all enjoy your Sunday.

Good morning Nan2, Clover and Oma.

                Pouring with rain here too.
Oh poor OH Clover. Is your eye still sore?
Poor B as well Oma! I'm in the battered and grumpy club today too.

As I said on another thread a terrible night with GS. I feel so tired. I will no doubt feel a bit better with coffee and breakfast inside me. Tonight an early night!
GD and GS2 are coming later. I welcome this as they are good children and in fact is is easier to have them all, which is why I invited them. Mum is stressing me which I will write about elsewhere later.

                Have a good day ladies.

Just lost my post, nothing too important.

Grauntie, sorry I can't stand either jobs, my presents are still waiting to be wrapped, I shall move them into the sitting room today so they can't be ignored.

Sorry we have some poorly ones, hope they improve to enjoy the festivities.

Gemini you will be exhausted after today, enjoy the day with all your grandchildren. Sorry to hear your mother is stressing you, very unfair.

I can't decide if I should go out and get the last few bits today or wait until I pick up the turkey tomorrow, I have a slot between 9 and 11 am.

Good morning all. It's a dull drizzly day here so far, longing for some sunshine I don't like these dull days at all.
OH has put the Christmas CDs on and with the tree lights on its looking rather festive here.

My cystitis seems to be clearing up thankfully so that's a visit to the Drs I can avoid our the Christmas period.

Grauntie, wrapping presents isn't my favourite part of Christmas but its only once a year isn't it, whereas ironing is at about 4-5 times a year

How are our poorly ladies and their OH's, hope everyone is feeling much better today' and all those nasty coughs have gone.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜† at Mimi! Plant, I have done the same. Each time I go up stairs I bring some down and it WILL be done today. Gem, if you come I will feed you mince pies and chocolate, and ply you with the beverage of your choice whilst you wrap.
I went to Asda this morning before the tills opened, glad I did! By the time I got to the checkout it was HEAVING 😳. So many men pushing trolleys and saying how ridiculous it all is. πŸ˜†The car park was chaos getting in and out. Such fun...
Poorly people, I wish you better immediately, if not sooner! Sleep deprived people, I wish you some deep and restfull sleep.
I may meet myself coming backwards today, washing done, dinner in slow cooker, shopping done. Just got to wrap the b....y presents.

I got up at ΒΌ to5 and it was raining,it's never stopped today.

Had a busy day. Made some nince pies early this morning.
Broke off for breakfast when hubby got up.
Went to the supermarket at 10. Hubby put shopping away while i went in the shower.
Round to mam and dads to see relatives from Wigan.
Back home, had something to eat, then did more baking, coconut tarts this time.
A bit of housework done, and thats it for me today.

                                Good evening.
                                Tired of York here!

Thank goodness the cystitis seems to be clearing up Mimi. You don't need that at Christmas!
                                That does sound tempting Grauntie!
Well done getting the presents wrapped Plant.
That was a busy day Nan2.

GS1 was very good today, and GD and GS2 too. It was nice OH, myself and the 3 GC all sitting down to lunch together. We don't think we have ever done that combination with no parents.
I did a chocolate coin hunt around the house for them, then GD with GS1's help made a treasure hunt with code for us to solve, then for DD1 when she arrived for GS. Once they all left, although dead on my feet I drove to mum's to take some 'essentials' to her. I shall be writing more on mum in another thread at some point.
Simple quick cheesy mushroom pasta tonight, then PJ's on!
