Our last day at DD’s. It’s lovely to have people to chat to as time with OH can be a bit lonely sometimes.

Gem I bet OH’s friend. looks forward to her Sunday lunch with you.

It must be lovely for you Clover to spend time with your family and well done for the police mans uniform.

Very lazy start for me, late getting up and still not dressed. No plans today, should really go out and take out the cosmos, they have been lovely, flowered at last but the rain has now spoiled them.

I am waiting with bated breath to hear how the Karcher performed Daisy.

Enfys, Hope P is feeling stronger by the day. Nose bleed must have been frightening.

i've got a couple of hours all to myself.hubby gone to B&Q with his brother.

Had quite a bit of sunshine,so along with the breeze it's dried the washing.

Gem,i'm sure OH's friend will enjoy your company and the roast pork dinner.

Enfys.....nose bleeds are the bane of my life! Unfortunately it's one of the side effects of the medication, but it does seem to get less as time goes by. OH has to take his blood results to the dentist/hygienist in case of problems with bleeding. Wish my blood was easier to find when I'm having tests! Hope P is feeling better now he's home and in his own bed.

We're having roast chicken for dinner tonight after a Skype with DS. My favourite roast is good Scotch beef. Don't like lamb at all and I can take or leave pork.

Been a grey old day here but quite mild.

The ambulance was at our neighbour's this morning and were there for ages according to OH ( I was out). The family came over after it had gone to say Mum wasn't well but the paramedics had stabilised her rather than take her to the hospital where she wouldn't have been seen until at least 8.30 this evening. They were there at 10.30 this morning! There's been a carer there all day because her OH has dementia and can't do much for himself. Another family member has just turned up now. We'll leave it until tomorrow before we go and check on them.

Well today turned out to be quite busy but lovely ,
We decided to have a drive out to a large Farm shop at Scotch corner called Mainsgill farm its a lovely place lots of artisan food and meat , a large gift shop and Christmas shop you can also go see the animals they have a Camel there
Bought a lovely silver candle stand for my coffee table its two stags either end with 4 tea light holders in between them , I will take a pic later , wasn't cheap but I loved it , then we had a lovely lunch in the onsite café ,
Its out of the way but was packed even had coach parties in ,

Just leaving when Martin rang to see if we would go to the wedding venue with them to see the registrar , so it was a quick detour to get to theirs then onto the country hotel where the wedding will be and where we will be staying overnight after the wedding ,
Beautiful place very posh looked in the rooms they are amazing , while we were there they had a BBQ going so me and B shared a large hot dog , too full from lunch to have more ,
Been a lovely unplanned day

We had a nice lunch with our friend. It was good to see her and she was very appreciative of being invited.

Oma, what a lovely day for you both. When is the wedding?

Dishwasher is definitely broken, no sign of life. going to JL tomorrow to have a chat about a replacement. My DD and I use Ecover products and she tells me that our local shop is providing re-fills so I shall take my almost empty bottle there to be refilled.

Evening ladies I havnt been on for a couple of days, just had something I needed to work out in my head , I havnt but a couple of nights sleep has lessened my thoughts a little, sorry I can’t chat about it .
Last night we went to DS for fireworks and tea it was lovely the kids took much more interest in the fireworks this year and held their first sparkler. An enjoyable tea of hot dogs, nachos and French fries , chocolate dessert
We had an early Christmas /anniversary present from them too, a couple of days in a hotel this month , Nanto will probably know it Tankersley Manor not far from us but a nice break before Xmas going end of the month something to look forward to 😬
Tomorrow a second firework display at Dd pie and peas and a firework cake g/d has made
Enfys hope P is a little stronger today and you are taking it easy
Oma the trip out today sounds fab topped off by the hotel visit
WG hope all is well with neighbour I think it’s better if she can stay at home if they can stabilise her
We had roast pork today Gem ,I’m not a big lover of it, it has to have apple sauce and it has to be homemade but I did enjoy , hope S friend enjoyed hers , it was very nice of you to invite her , I also have a beef and ale casserole in the slow cooker , and tomorrow will make leek and potato soup in the soup maker , feeling very smug
Clover sad when you leave the family behind and we always say it’ll soon pass till the next meet up , but 6/7 weeks can drag, and as you say nice to have conversation that is easier for you and I’m sure different to what you have at home sometimes

Qwerty, i know Tankersley Manor. It's very popular as a wedding venue now.
