Evening all just back from my 2nd stint of fireworks , at Dd tonight for pie and mushy peas but my heartburn knows about it now. Been a busy old day 2 loads of washing done, a small christmas shop, my Dd had seen 2 mantle clocks in TKMaxx for her xmas present from us a couple of weeks ago, this is is the first opportunity we have had to look at them, of course they had both gone so now I’m on the internet researching drives me mad, and we were away by 4 pm to Dds just got back.

Gem - it sounds a much bigger jog than either you or S realised.

Plant - everything happens at once - and it certainly has for you just lately. It's possible GS1 will be able to fix you iPad. Mine's appeared dead once or twice but I've managed to get it going again - I've no idea how, but it just seems to get itself in a tangle sometimes. I hope you have a nice day out tomorrow, although I don't think the weather forecast is great.

Qwerty - sorry, I intended to say this earlier but I had to go and deal with Cooper. I'm glad the twins enjoyed the fireworks this year. Did you make your leek and potato soup? It's one of my favourites. I hope you're feeling ok - you sounded a bit down in the dumps. Sending hugs. xx

Qwerty - sorry. It's been a mad house here today (nothing new!) and I completely forgot about it. I got the original holder from Qwerkity (online) but when I wanted more they had sold out so I tracked down the maker and ordered direct. It's called the Nail Buddy. I couldn't remember the name of the company but I've done a bit of sleuthing and found it!!

We left our friends house at 6 pm last night(we were there before 11 in the morning) There is still some finishing to do on the bedside cabinets, which OH plans to do tomorrow afternoon. I wish she wouldn't take on these jobs.

Golf for OH today. It has been a very foggy start to the day but it is beginning to lift now.
GS from school this afternoon, then the dreaded drive home now dark nights are here!

Dull dreary day here today. Hope everyone is ok, haven’t had chance to read back.

P is ok-ish, this procedure has left him very tired and generally feeling unwell. It I read through the paperwork they gave us and that’s par for the course. He’s a bit better this morning but totally fed up, he was feeling so well before. He has a scan this afternoon to see if the ablation worked, fingers crossed, then it’s on to the next one.

Trying very hard to keep positive but even he was down a little bit yesterday, had to jolly him along when I didn’t feel jolly at all. However, yesterday is behind us and today is another day so I’ll paste a smile in and get in with it 🙂.

Did you see that awful awful footage in the news of those horrible people burning an effigy of Grenfell Towers? Made me feel sick that they could do that, but this morning apparently 5 men have been arrested after they handed themselves in. What are we coming to that people can do,this?

Enfys, it must he be hard for P to feel poorly when he felt fine before the treatment. Hopefully this has worked and all will be worth it, but it must be hard at the moment

My white ceramic coffee canister just slipped out of my hands, hit the tiles of the kitchen floor and smashed. Broken pottery and ground coffee everywhere. We have 4 (2 for tea as we take different kinds) on the worktop plus a matching utensils jar. I have had them a couple of years, so odds on Dunelm no longer sell that kind!

Enfys you have to take each day as it comes I suppose, yesterday it was hard to 'jolly along 'P , however today is another day . Sending you both lots of positive thoughts .
The person(s) who thought that putting an effigy of the Grenfell Tower on the bonfire is nothing short of evil. They handed themselves in I notice. I suppose they will have a slap across the hand and be told not to do it again..

Yesterday I stayed in all day waiting for a parcel to be picked up and surprise , surprise , no one turned up . I had an email this morning full of apologies saying that someone will collect it today ….We'll see

Morning ladies it’s a bit foggy but the sun is breaking through, I have som ironing to do and then a pick up this afternoon for the twinnies and back to our house for tea
Enfys it’s bound to get P down when you think he was feeling Okish and then they do this and he feels awful you feel it’s been self inflicting and if I hadn’t had it done I wouldn’t be like this, but there obviously is a need to do this , slowly slowly little monkey the saying goes. You both need a treat to cheer you up, a nice bunch of flowers, 🍫, alcohol , a Christmas film , a takeaway ?
Gem is the canister like mine I remember you commenting on my new ones a couple of years ago, I wash mine on a fairly regular basis but find they never seem to dry takes days I put them in the microwave it’s a nightmare, the sugar and coffee goes hard and you have to bash it with a spoon lol Gem I wished your OH didn’t take on these jobs it’s hard work I bet !

Enfys, I remember Oma saying it’s a rollercoaster of progress, ups and downs, good days and bad days. You are doing brilliantly but it must be hard to jolly P along when he’s not feeling great. Don’t forget to look after yourself as well. It’s brightened up a bit so I hope that helps. I hope today is a better day for both of you. Xx

Just about to set off for school, I have a drive to get to next village park up at DS and then a 10 min walk , 10 mins back , 10 mins on the swings if it’s dry, kerfuffle of getting them In car seats and drive back to grandmas , dil is picking them up from us but sometimes I do the journey back at 6 and the traffic is not good especially in the dark but at least I havnt as far to go as Daisy and Gem , having said that when they come out of school smiling well I would go to Timbucktoo to pick them up
