Snow is forecast by 5pm and I have to drive home 6.30 to 7 ish. I'm not a happy bunny about that. I hope it's not much. If it was really bad I think I may get the train and then bus home, but then my car would be in Selby!

Good morning, a bit dull here but no snow! I am planning to sort our the store cupboard and freezer today before I do any more food shopping, and I want to try and be a bit more inventive with our meals. We can but hope 😏

Dg popped over yesterday and asked me if I would help her with a “project”. She had seen blankets made with cut up t shirts, the ones with logos in them, and then backed with a fleece. She’s made a start but needed some help, so guess what I’m doing this afternoon 😀. Might need some 🍷

Afternoon Ladies we are back , just before the bad weather sets in ,
Had a lovely stay over , really good food and a fantastic place to stay ,
It was called Stanley house hotel in Blackburn stayed in the Manor wing all four posters and roll top bath type of rooms absolutely plush and comfy

We went to see the chairs we had seen and they were lovely but I didn't want B to order them till we have looked at some others , I didn't want to be rash in our decisions ,
Worth going though just for the nice relaxing stay alone

Went to Morrisons this morning,managed to get the gluten free biscuits i wanted.
I didn't need anything else, but managed to get what i didn't need.

Today,as I have remembered to bring a cardigan and my very warm slipper boots, DD has the heating on! Usually I am frozen until it comes on at 5 !!

Evening ladies hope your keeping warm ,no snow her a little sleet that’s all, we are in the decorating mode so been to get some wallpaper yet again starting on the other spare room , hope it keeps OH happy as the black dog has it’s paw in the door, and he’s smoking the odd cigar again 🤷*♀️😢 dil called with some flowers this afternoon which was a nice surprise, she knew I was fed up hey ho

Oma a fab room and you would enjoy the bath not having one well I’m sure your spotless but you know what I mean about no bath
