What a lot of busy people on here today. I don't have any spiders on my wing mirrors, I suppose it is because it goes in a garage when not being used. GGS and his parents came for lunch next door so I joined them for a bit. GGS keeps saying Pat Pat, he loves Postman Pat. I watched 6 yes 6 episodes of The Bodyguard today, I had heard so much about it I decided to download it. I must say it is the best drama series I have seen for ages.

So so pleased you are planning a holiday Enfys, something to look forward to.

Bet those Yorkshire puds were delicious Qwerty.

Good morning and Happy October everyone

Pleased to report my sister came home from hospital yesterday
.It was quite late when she finally got back so I just had a text and a promise to ring today.I know she’ll be a lot happier now she can keep an eye on her hubby albeit from her armchair.

Enfys that cottage looks fantastic. You were lucky to get the week you wanted.

It’s bright and sunny here at the moment but decidedly chilly. I’m wearing my first jumper of the year.

More chutney making planned today and more gardening. H*******k has been sadly neglected this past week but it has been to the garden’s advantage

            Have a lovely Sunday ladies.

Yes good news Clover, hope she soon gets stronger.

Hope you find your PJ's Oma, I wear nighties myself, need to buy a warmer ones soon.

Sunny here but I think it will be a bit chilly out. I am off to have lunch with my G.Guiding friends, picking up two others. Need to plant up some pots but the plants in them are still flowering. Have a good day everyone.

                    Good morning all.

                    Very sunny here this morning.
That holiday to look forward to is just what you and OH need Enfys!
I'm glad your MIL had a lovely birthday Nan2.
Good to know your sister came home Clover, I hope she recovers well.
I like the Metro Centre Oma, not been for years.
                    Enjoy your lunch Plant!

My mum's medical review and flu jab at the doctors with one of the practice nurses today. She dreads these things, gets all worked up about it. Doesn't mind the jab at all, it's the review. She gets all worked up when they say she has lost weight. OH advised her to put some rocks in her pocket
We may go for lunch afterwards, but if not I will stay with mum at her house for an hour or two.
Organising my packing is my other main event today, and possibly preparing the spare room for the cat sitter, but I may leave that until Wednesday. Oh I also need to prepare the Agenda (a quick job) and send that out for Thursday's meeting.

                    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from me. It was dull and chilly first thing, but now it's realy sunny - not too warm, but it is October!

Clover - I'm so pleased to hear your sister is home. I'm sure both she and her hubby will be more relaxed. Clover the H*******k can wait, the garden can't!

Nanto - it's amazing how quickly the grass is still growing!

Plant - I hope you enjoy your lunch with your GG friends.

Oma - I'm typing this with Cooper trying to climb on my lap! I hope Storm doesn't copy him!

Gem - Your poor Mum - I can sympathise. I hate all the questions when ever I have a check up! Sometimes they treat you like children. You're going to have a busy week by the sound of things.

I am going to try and wave the flat hissy thing round a bit provided the dogs play nicely - they're both a bit over-excited at the moment and I've separated them. Then lunch, and then it will be almost time to go and fetch GD2 from school.

Afternoon you fine folk, I’ve just hung two loads of washing out, showered and washed hair tickled the rooms and now off out to Dunelm for a floor lamp its lacking one in the tv room , and remember I bought a rubbish bin at Argos it didn’t work so took it back, didn’t get another one from there thought they all might be a bit dodgy, so going to have a look there and anything else I see ,might even tackle a coffe and cake β˜•οΈπŸ°
Clover I’m pleased your sister is home but hope she doesn’t do too much and set her recovery back baby steps
Plant enjoy lunch and anyone else doing something nice , some might think gardening is nice I do not πŸ™‚ Oma shopping for pjs is a nice thing to shop for, I go for the legging type ones and a few t shirts and swap around with the leggings that way you never tire of them ,do the same in the summer buy strappy camisole tops
Enfys that cottage looks gorgeous how nice of Dd to ask you , something definitely to look forward to , how lucky you are to live in that neck of the woods so to speak much more choice of lovely spots more than the north coast
For those ladies mentioning my Yorkshire puds they were usual standard lol top form I could make a meal of just those and OH gravy , eldest gd asked for more amd took some off OH plate 😏
Son in law collected her yesterday , we had bought an Amazon fire stick for films more than anything and he fitted it , so just in time for those cold cosy evenings ax I see the Christmas films are already on πŸŽ…πŸ»

Well I didn't get any PJ's , im really fussy I don't like the t-shirt style I like a cotton Jacket but with short sleeves as even in the winter I cant stand being wrapped up too much ,
At the minute im wearing odd PJ bottoms and little cotton vests , think I will have to buy long sleeves and either turn them up or cut them off ,
I am not a t-shirt person but I did buy a couple of white T-shirts today to go under my sleevless blouses just to cover the tops of my arms without a cardigan , wearing them will be another matter they may just hang in the wardrobe
Im not fat just 6ft too small

All this talk of Yorkshire Puddings has reminded me that we haven't had toad in the hole for years! When it gets a bit colder I might have to have a go!

Ladies, it sounds as though you have drawerfuls of PJs! I've got two pairs - one the a short-sleeved top and the other with long sleeves! Oma - I'm sure you'll find some eventually.

I managed to wave the hot hissy thingy around for half an hour or so. That's quite productive when both dogs are here!

The nurse didn't weigh mum, which was a good thing! However they want the bloods repeated as the white cell count was slightly high. Mum is the sort of person who goes into panic at the slightest thing wrong, so it was hard calming her down I felt sorry for the nurse! It isn't urgent so we will wait until after my holiday to get it done. I reassured her it may be nothing at all, and that in the end it is her body and life, and no one is going to make her have any treatment she doesn't want. We went for lunch in the lovely village cafe, and she was fine when I left her later.

Very early start for me tomorrow, my medication review this time, in town at 8.30 am! I will be here afterwards.
