It seems like we all want cottage pie.I cooked the filling for mine yesterday.
Will do the potatoes this morning,then get them in the freezer.
Might leave one out,for today's dinner.

I cant eat cottage pie Nan2, because of the beef, but love shepherds pie!
Yesterdays weather here was like yours Daisy! Really cold when I went out in the morning to deliver that card, so warm when we picked up GD from school that GS and I left our coats in the car, and we had the AC on for part of our journey home!!

Dentist this morning for me, to patch that broken tooth. I will park at Sainsbury's, then pick up some shopping after the dentist.
Enfys and Clover, good to hear the appointments went smoothly. Fingers crossed all remains well Clover, as Daisy says small changes can happen and be insignificant.
Plant, I'm glad to hear the warfarin results were good for you.
GS1 from school, coming back here as DD wants to work from home today. As OH and are are going to local friends fora meal, it suits me better to have him here anyway, as I am free earlier

OH after 2 golf days is off again to play today, just at her club. She and the golf friend she travelled with were pretty tired when they got back yesterday. Gluttons for punishment I think! Her hip was painful, the course they visited was very hilly, but it didn't stop her.

Went to post office to post something back to Gem then for milk in our shopping centre ,
Decided to look in Bon march and came out with 4 pairs of trousers , they had them on 2 for £28 but I had B,s Forces discount card with us so got 4 pair for £50 a £6 discount is not to be sniffed at

I did need new trousers mine are getting a bit tatty looking so although I didn't intend spending that much I thought I may as well
Really I should be buying new PJ's now they are looking tatty

Oma, i'm going to do an online order for some trousers at Bon Marche today.
The ones i want are 2pairs for £26, and i have a code for free delivery.
Cottage pies done and in the freezer. kept one behind for today.

Morning all nearly back to normal , how are we all well I hope
I had a lovely afternoon with more friends , a birthday to celebrate with one of the ladies, we had Mexican started off with nachos which I love and a mild chilli and cornbread and a beer , we then went on for cocktails I had 2 brandy sours and on again for coffee and Baileys , at which point we walked down to the bus station very merrily and caught our different buses, we meet again for Christmas although we text most weeks
Pick up from school and back to ours for tea looking forward to seeing them come out of school, taking a bag this time I need to check M has book bag, fleece, cardigan, drink bottle and rucksack , same for J less the rucksack , I will have my car keys phone and two children 😱

l will reply on appropriate threads to some stuff on here , it’s s lovely day here small amount of ironing to do conserving my energy for 3 o click.

Good morning all
I am sorry but I have missed the reports of our ladies who were away in Birmingham last weekend . I have had a rough few days , nothing serious , just feeling out of sorts. Very sleepily with a constant headache
I felt a bit better yesterday afternoon so I started to clean the windows, in fact I had done one pane when I had to rush the cat to the vets. She was drooling at the mouth and being extremely sick . This isn't the first time she has been like this . The vet couldn't find any real reason for it. nothing in her mouth, gums and teeth fine her temperature was normal etc. The only cause of it we can think of is she keeps drinking from a man hole cover in the garden that collects with water when it rains. The cover is rusty so perhaps that is what is upsetting her. She is much better this morning. OH has made a cover that is now sitting over the metal manhole cover and would you believe it the stupid cat has attempted to drink out of it again !

This morning I have washed the floors and resumed cleaning the window and have even got a lamb hot pot in the oven , phew I need to put my feet up as all this housework is a shock to the system !

Hello everyone. Dentist for us this morning, just a check up and all ok, phew!! Then to the supermarket for the weekly shop. Cooking lunch now then it’s off to hospital again to see cardiologist! It’s all go go go 😀

The trouser manufacturers are certainly making a profit out of our ladies this week.

I’m a bit worried at the moment as my sister has fractured her hip. She is more worried about her hubby as she is his carer but the neighbours are being wonderful and keeping an eye on him.He does have an emergency fob but does get very worked up about things. Also he is diabetic on insulin which he is unable to do for himself. M was due to have an op. yesterday but of course it had to be put back to today. I’ve being trying to get through to the ward for about two hours but the phone is either engaged or unanswered.We live so far away so I can’t be of any practical help.
Off to try ringing again.

Dentist done with. The patch is done, but who knows how long it will hold? Fingers crossed, or it will be a crown. Then, with numb face I went to Sainsbury's and spent over £80, I didn't know we needed so much shopping!
It's a lovely sunny afternoon now, I have washing on the line. Off to get GS1 in half an hour.

Well I got through to hospital and M was in recovery. Then spoke to BIL.He sounded a bit wobbly but various agencies have visited and help given.e g sorting out his numerous tablets. The kind neighbour is going to help him do it himself tomorrow. Then ,much to my surprise I got a call from rather croaky sister.All went well but she has a catheter as she couldn’t wee on bedpan. I sympathised.I’m feeling a bit relieved now I’ve heard her voice..Please God all continues well and she can get home as soon as possible if only to reassure herself about her hubby. He is hoping to visit her tomorrow which will do them both good.Thanks for your kind words ladies. G keeps forgetting M is in hospital,let alone why,so it’s lovely to be able to tell you my friends

Just put Tesco shop away then Pilates tonight.
