On the coach, it was 15mins late, trainer driver, fingers crossed. Should have been arriving at 12.25 so can't see me getting to hotel before 1pm. Weather good so far. Good journey ladies.

Thanks Nanto. It is hard at times Mostly his character is as it’s always been,it’s just on occasion he gets upset.
GM I’m glad your DD and GS weren’t hurt but badly shocked no doubt.
I expect our Birmingham ladies are settled in by now and partaking of some light refreshment.
Still extremely windy here but mainly sunny though I was caught in the one heavy shower we had at lunchtime on my way home from work.

Feeling more human today thanks ladies. Perked up by planning a visit to DS over C********.
Rained heavily through the night and the black clouds are fairly scudding across the sky at the moment. Methinks it might be a bumpy take-off for DS tomorrow morning.
That must have been a shock for your D and GC, GM, but glad they weren't hurt.Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Good morning from Brum. It’s dull but dry here this morning so not too bad!
Grauntie your poor DD must be totally fed up. Any incident is bad enough but having a 6 year old in the car must have made it so much worse for her. Thank goodness the weren’t physically injured.
Nana, keep up the good work. 👍
Have a good day everyone. X"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning, waving back Nan2! 👋
Despite various loud bin and glasses noises on and off between 5.and 7 from The I'vy next door, I had one of the best night's sleep for a long time. I was fast asleep when my alarm went off at 8.10!
Have a good Saturday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hello everyone and good morning Birmingham.
Gem that’s great you slept well. Sometimes a strange bed can lead to a restless night but all the chat must have worn you out ( not mentioning the Prosecco )
It’s dull here too but we have no special plans apart from walking to buy a paper and take out a mortgage on a book of stamps.
Enjoy your Saturday.

Clover funnily enough I was just talking about that the other day. They are so expensive. No wonder many people are changing to the internet...ecards, etc. Aiming to finish art stuff & hand it in."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good moaning Each and of course the Birmingham contingent!
Nana, what art stuff are you making? Is it a painting?
I have a pile of ironing to attack and the sewing machine is calling me ever louder.....
The cat has forgiven me for leaving her and now I am anchored to the chair with her on my lap.
Clover I know exactly what you mean. We have many birthdays this month, so apart from the price of the card the postage makes it expensive but then I would hate to have a birthday without cards.
Enjoy the day all.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Clover, stamps are expensive, but as GM says, wouldn't like a birthday without cards.
Been into town, and it was quite chilly. It was very busy though.
Got a bit of shopping and stocked up at the butchers.
Did Asda shopping on the way home.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Don't think i'm going anywhere today.
Ironing to be done, and 1 or 2 other jobs.
Pizza for dinner today. Not had one for years,as neither of us have been fussed over them.
I was very surprised when hubby asked for one.
