Beautiful day here, I should be in the garden but I am too lazy to change, enjoying the sun through the glass. Just back from having this tooth checked ,hospital dentist doesn't want to touch it for a few months not until my next bone injection is due but still thinks it ought to come out. The post holding it in has fractured from the crown. Hope I don't get an infection in it again before then. Out this evening at Trefoil, we arrange out Christmas dinner for January as everyone is so busy approaching Christmas. The committee cook it for the members and we have a secret santa. bit odd really.

Hope all the poorlies are better now.

Plant I think meals and get togethers in January are a good idea. The secret Santa sounds a bit like at OH's golf match last Sunday.
I hope your tooth doesn't play up before you get it seen to.
It's lovely and sunny here too.

Afternoon all , been a bit of a busy day although not planned ,

Didn't get to bed till 5.30 very painful knees after being on them cleaning the fridge out , my own fault I know I shouldn't so sat with hot water bottle on them most of the night ,
Got up at 9 and did the usual dusting etc then while I cleaned the Mirrors and washed the floors , B cleaned the Sofa and chairs ,
We had a coffee break then decided to go to the Metro Centre , I need new PJ's and some inspiration for a outfit for Martins wedding , came home with nothing.

I did order a new Watch strap in Swarovski £29 for a watch strap , shocking isn't it , they not daft they sell these things and only their products fit , I took it to our local watch shop and he said they don't stock the pins Swarovski use

We came home and called into Aldi by then I was shattered and my knees were aching I lay on the sofa and fell asleep for over a hour

Plant hope you don't get a infection toothache is awful xx

Daisy im sure Eva will be a star its been freezing hear lovely and bright day but bitter cold .

          I had a good day.
Some washing and a bit of housework this morning, whilst catching up with last weeks The Archers.
After lunch I went to the cinema. I took my own Blue Riband and bought coffee! There were 8 to 10 of us in the screen so it was nice and quiet.
Then to Aldi for browse and a few bargains. OH is cooking tonight, as I have for the last few nights
Oma, I enjoyed Fantastic Beats very much. How could I not like anything with Eddie Redmain and Johnny Depp in?! It was lot darker than the first film though, and quite complicated, you have to concentrate fully! There is obviously going to a be a 3rd. Two hours being taken out of myself did me the world of good.
I hope your knees feel less painful soon Oma.

Been a lovely sunny day here but with a biting wind.

Yoga this morning, which I managed with only one rest. I'd told the teacher about my back and she advised me what to do if I needed, so I did! Then reading this afternoon. It was lovely to see my little group again.

Had a phone call earlier from the lady who's organising the buffet for tomorrow's funeral. She's had a nasty fall and can't lift her arm, so guess I'll be doing a bit more tomorrow than I originally thought! She's sending me the list of contributors of food and who's doing what, so I just have to keep calm and follow instructions! I'm sure it'll all be fine, but I think it'll be very busy as the dead man was into all sorts of organisations and was well known in the community. May need to put my feet up tomorrow evening!

I too am hoping that my back doesn't need anything other than some more injections, but the surgeon did warn me that they might not work. We shall see.

OH's side effects are minor at the moment, but can be a sign that the meds aren't as effective as they were. Things seem to have settled down again, so I'm hoping that it was just all the travelling etc that caused them to flare up.

Last episode of Manhunt tonight. I've really enjoyed it. Vera starts again on Sunday, so that's another good evening's viewing.

Have a good evening everyone. Beef casserole cooking nicely in slow cooker, just need to make some mash!

              Evening All!
Over Christmas the TV was awful we thought. Now I don’t know what to watch first! Manhunt is gripping, Luther was gripping. I hadn’t watched before so I have downloaded the previous series just to tie in people. In fact last night I watched two Luthers then when OH came in (curry night), we watched Manhunt. Little wonder I didn’t sleep until after 4am. Then we were woken by the fridge mender man saying he would be here by 8.30am., and he was. All fixed, we are poorer but at least we have ice 🙄. I went to Waitrose to restock and bumped into a lady I hadn’t seen for a long time. Oh what a tail of woe re. her husband. She obviously needed to offload and I came away counting my blessings.
Plant, my intention is to make some stunning silver and copper jewellery using the Dremel. It is still in the box.
Glad all the poory folk are starting to be better. Carry on chaps.
Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Can't wait to see your jewellery Grauntie. One of my entries for the Open Art Exhibition one year was a sheep's skull carved into with a Celtic design. If I remember I'll put a pic on. I used a dremel drill for that. If ever I do one again I'll make sure I wear eye protection & a mask. I was covered in dust.

Busy day today. Drs 1st... blood test & x-ray organised for tomoro. Not sure what type of arthritis is causing pain in my hands & wrists. After the docs it was onto the dentist again! Third try to put a temp crown on. Both previous ones came off the day after. The dentist is a brute, not at all gentle. Looks like a body builder with a neck the circumference of a telegraph post😲 Nice bloke tho.

Hoping tomoro is a day to relax.

                  Good morning everyone.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your work, Grauntie and Nana!

OH and I both have a free day. A rarity.
Not sure what we will do, but it may include putting stuff back in the loft!

                  Have a good day ladies.

Good morning everyone. a fairly late start for me, and it looks as though everyone had a busy time yesterday. I'll read those posts later when I can sit down with a coffee and enjoy them.

It's a beautiful sunny day here but there's been a frost.

I've got nothing planned for today, but the kitchen looks like a battleground and the floor definitely needs a good clean - so I expect that's what I'll be doing. Plus hoovering up all the dust and dog hairs from two days of mad dogs play fighting everywhere!

                        See you later.

Sunny again but I think we are forecast rain. Warfarin for me this morning, back to the same hospital I visited yesterday to see a dentist about my tooth problem. when I left the hospital yesterday the queue was about 12 cars long waiting for spaces, it was chaos cars were overtaking the queue not realising they were in a queue, no car park attendant in sight, he was probably hiding. I presume they would all be late for their appts. Had a lovely fun evening with my lovely Guiding friends, lovely meal cooked by the committee, pass the parcel, entertainment, secret Santa. They are a grand group of ladies.

                          I will look in later.

GD comes home from Australia today, her flight has just landed and DD and SIL are waiting in arrivals. It will be so lovely to,see her again.
