Good morning, its feels very warm already.

Daisy, hope OH feels better today.

Gem, nice to have a cuppa with your friend.

A few days ago, we bought a parcel box. Hubby was hoping to get it in place today, but i think it will be too warm to work at the front of the house.

Lizzie, i googled where you are going on holiday,it looks a nice place. Lovely harbour.

Washer has just finished, so off to get them out on the line.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning, I have just done a Google search Daisy, goat meat is eaten here! I didn't know that. I have read that it is very tasty.

It is a shame about Wakefield Nanto, when DS1 is in the UK he goes to Hull, he says it is sad to see what it has become.

GD2 phoned yesterday, she apologised for not being available for a fortnight, she told me all she has done the last fortnight is study for her exams!!! She had the last one on Friday so is now "free'!

I haven't seen GD1 yet, according to GD2 she is brown!!! They are certainly well travelled, when they tell me what the plans are for the summer I can't remember it all!!!

I have just checked the weather, the hottest day will be Tuesday 30+, then in the 20's after that.

Your MIL must be one strong person Oma.

        Good morning ladies.

        Nice graphic Nan2

Lizzie my GD is mid exams too. It keeps them busy! She sat next to me at her granddad's birthday meal on Friday, so they was nice.

We had planned to go to the coast today, we would love to see the sea. However, we decided on balance Bank holiday traffic is best avoided when possible, especially heading to the coast!
We will go to the garden centre for plants.
A ( younger and ailment free) friend is coming to cut our tall hedges in the back garden this morning. I couldn't and wouldn't do them, and it's too much for OH at the moment. We have a ladder and electric hedge trimmers. We will pay her of course ( although I suspect we may have a struggle to make her take it )
Little E and his daddy were camping in their back garden last night. I haven't heard how that went yet. They were both quite excited!

I hope everyone's Sunday is a good one.

Morning ladies dull but very stuffy , it will get out later I suspect,

          Gem
I miss those days with the GSs ,
We used to put a tent up in the sitting room , they loved it ,
Only once did it in the garden and I woke to find GS 1 in bed with me and Grandad still. In the tent outside 😁
I agree holiday traffic isn't what you want to get stuck in , garden centre is a better option,
I had to smile at the young and ailment free friend 😁

Lizzie it's going to be hot there , when do you go away?

The children are all so busy with exams at the moment aren't they ,

          Nanto
A parcel box is a good idea but this weather is a bit warm to be doing jobs like that ,
best to leave it till later in the day when it cools a little.

          Daisy
How is Js eye this morning?
          Has Eva recovered 😁
Don't go mad in the garden , I know you feel a bit stronger but you don't want to overdo it,

Well it's already been a morning and a half,
MIL rang SIL2 at 5.30 woke her up, crying she hadn't been served breakfast again,
SIL said it's 5.30 mam they don't serve till 8 she then said she wanted her hoover in to clean the dust of her tray , bring it down now ,
You will have to come down , SIL said visiting is at 11 I will see you then.

          Then 8.30 she rang B crying .
You will have to come down and sort this carry on out what's happened this afternoon,
He said Mam its morning .
Well no body has visited for days , then everyone came at once this afternoon and wouldn't talk to me,
Everyone ignored me when I tried to talk.
He explained again that everyone had been in everyday and no one had ignored her and it was morning.

So while she was on the phone to B I rang the ward and explained what was happening,
The nurse said I will go in and see her ,
She did as as soon as I hung up she said to B I will have to go the nurse is hear,

SIL is going to ask to see a Dr when she goes in .

She definitely can't go home that's for sure , we were thinking assisted living but we now think she needs a care home, for her own safety.

Oma,I'm sure you are right about your MIL needing full time care now. I wonder if she has a urine infection, or it's just being in hospital causing her confusion?

My OH is very down this morning about the pain. Having to ask someone to help is probably adding to it. Our friend isn't young, probably 60, but younger than us! Her OH has rheumatoid arthritis and other problems, so she understands.

                Hello, everyone.

Apologies for the late visit. It has literally been too hot to use my laptop today. It's been 28-29 most of the day, and the house has been like an oven. Added to that I had the usual post treatment slump in energy, so have done nothing all day. It's so frustrating because normally I love the hot weather, but I can't cope with it at the moment. I tidied up a bit round the pond early this morning, but everything else will have to wait.

It's down to 22 now, so I've just tried to take Eva out for a walk, but she's still terrified after that thunder storm. We got a little bit further than last night though.

Oma, it sounds as though your MIL has got a water infection. She definitely needs full-time care.

Lizzie, yes, it's definitely exam season here as well. Like Gem's GD my GD1 has got exams as well. She's take the long week-end off from revising, but will get back to it on Tuesday. I'm sure we'll all be glad when they're over.

Gem, I'm so sorry to hear S is having all that pain. It is depressing, especially when she's normally so active, and it must be hard to have to get someone to help with a job she'd normally do herself. Little E and his Daddy camping in the back garden brings back lots of happy memories of when our DSs did that. It was so exciting for them and they loved it. They always wanted snacks for a a midnight feast, usually enough to feed an army!

My OH's eye was a bit better today, but he's still very tired from yesterday. Hopefully he'll be feeling better tomorrow.
