Good Tuesday morning, everyone.
Nanto, we had rain overnight, but hopefully that young lady won't need her brolly today. I hope you got your shopping ok. Yes, the ponies are such a delight, and the stallions are out on the Forest at the moment. One galloped across the road in front of me last week. He clearly only had one thought on his mind, and it wasn't road safety. A little group of mares in the distance were getting very frisky! Are you enjoying your new bathroom?
Oma, it sounds as though your MIL is getting less able to cope in her own home. You must see quite a decline in her. It's very sad, but a care home may be the best option. I hope the doctor at the hospital is helpful today.
Lizzie, it is cold for the time of year. The forecast for later this week and the coming week-end is looking better. Hopefully. It's awful that your therapist is worrying about being sued. I would have thought that there's not much the rude client can do, though. If the therapist is on her own, it would be impossible for her to see all the clients that were previously shared between two of them. There is no excuse for rudeness, I agree, but some people seem to think it's ok to verbally attack anyone providing a service. My DIL2 occasionally gets rude customers in the shop and she's very good at handling them. I admire her patience.
Gem, I think the worst things to shop for are shoes and bras! Was the library quiet? I hope the weather picked up a bit. It must be very wearing for your DD3, having treatment every week (I now how I felt on weekly hospital treatments, and mine was much easier to cope with) but I'm sure it helps that she knows you or another member of the family will be there to look after her afterwards.
OH has gone out to go to another audiologist to get his hearing aids sorted out. I'm waiting for the Consultant to ring. The call's timed for 11.30, but it's not unknown for it to be turned 6 o'clock before they ring. It's ok, I don't mind, but tonight we're going out at 6 pm to a friend's for dinner to celebrate another friend's birthday.
I've got bedding in the washing machine, but I think it's going to rain. Tumble dryer to the rescue if so.
