    Good morning.

Daisy, hoping a bit of fresh air will do you both good.

I'm going to make a start on some ready meals for the freezer. Starting with corned beef hotpot. Going to get things in the slow cooker.

Hubby wants to change the light in the outbuilding where the freezer is. He's putting a bigger one in.

      Good morning everyone.

I have never heard of these all in one duvets!

I hope everything goes smoothly today when you are out Daisy. You will both probably need a rest when you get back!

OH and I will get moving today after inactivity! Golf for her, aqua for me. I did do the aqua class on Christmas Eve, but very little since then. Too much sitting about!
My hips and back feel very stiff, I hope aqua today and Wednesday will help.

Good morning, those duvets are very popular in the summer for campings etc. They are like an open sleeping bag. I am at work doing the coffee, not busy today.

          Good morning ladies,

          Nanto
Good to have a bigger light especially if your looking for something in the freezer on these dark days ,
          Much safer too.

          Daisy
It will be good to get some fresh air but try not to overdo it,
Easier said than done I know,
I hope you don't have to wait long at the hospital todayxx

          Gem
We said the same too much sitting around,
I hope the aqua helps to relieve the stiffness,
When is your next sports massage?
I imagine that would help too.

          This is a coverless duvet,
They come in many colours patterns and styles , and togs, although I haven't seen a. Very high tog.

          Lizzie
They are ideal for campers aren't they,
I'm sure the patrons will appreciate your coffee making 😁

GS is coming at some point , no doubt he will want feeding,
He was in Edinburgh yesterday playing golf ,

Just need to pop out for fresh bread and a few bits otherwise a easy day.

How often do you wash the cover less duvets?

Plant, you could always use one with an ordinary flat sheet under it then you wouldn't have to wash it so often.

Well I use a sheet under me and my duvet in a cover over me. The sheets gets changed every week and the duvet cover when I decide to..

                    Good Monday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, there are definitely places where you need a good, bright light. Has it made a big difference? How did the corned beef hotpots go?

Gem, it's surprising how quickly you can feel the effects of a change in exercise routines. I hope your back and hips aren't aching too much after aqua. I'm sure S will have enjoyed being out on the golf course again.

Lizzie, it's a strange time, between Christmas and New Year, so not surprising you don't have your usual demand for coffee. I hope that artic wind hasn't come back to plague you.

Plant, I'm sure the all in one duvets make life easier. It would be good not to have to wrestle a duvet into its cover every week. It's a job I hate.

Oma, I hope GS enjoyed his golf in Edinburgh. My first thought was "what a long way to go for a game of golf"! Silly me. I was picturing the 8 or 9 hour drive from here.

This morning went well. I was a little bit worried in case I didn't feel well, as OH isn't up to driving yet. Luckily I was fine. We dropped OH's glasses' frames off at the opticians and then went for my blood test. Our local hospital is a dream. Easy parking and very efficient. It never feels crowded or rushed. I was early for my blood test, but only had to wait about 5 minutes. We then had over an hour before we could collect OH's glasses so we went for a coffee and a blueberry muffin in the hospital cafe. The town wasn't too busy, so parking wasn't a problem. We were back home before 1 o'clock. We were both tired though. I was glad I'd taken Eva out for a walk this morning, although I'm sure she thinks I've cheated somehow or other!

It's very cold but dry. Definitely a day to snuggle down in the warmth.

Daisy, I'm glad all went well, and you deserve to rest and keep warm now!

Oma, my next massage is in about 3 weeks time. I felt a lot better after my class this morning I needed to get moving!

All three of my friends were in the class and three of us could stay for coffee.
I went to M&S on my way to the car for blueberries and bought some half price Christmas warp and tags too.
                      OH enjoyed her golf.

We use a top sheet. Partly to avoid changing the duvet cover as often, and also if we are hot we can sleep with that over us not the duvet. I am going to look into those coverless duvets.

The duvet I have isn’t open and it’s waffle cotton with what feels like a very thin blanket in the middle. I just washed it when I felt it needed it. Daisy, I made sure I could dry it outside or on the airer. Tumble dryer doesn’t get used in the summer 😁.
Another early morning flight back from Slovakia. Haven’t done anything since I got home! DD put heating on for me so the house wasn’t like an icebox when I got in. GS popped in earlier to say hello. He’s going skiing with his mum before he goes back to uni at the end of January. He seems to have very long holidays but he is working for some of the time he’s home.
Have a good evening ladies xx

GS1 gets very long holidays from uni also,
I bet it was a treat coming home to a nice warm home 😁

                          Daisy
It's only about a two hour drive to Edinburgh, for youngsters it's nothing , especially when he drives to Leeds and back all the time.

I'm pleased you didn't have to wait long in the hospital,
                          Is Js glasses ok ?

                          Plant
They supposed to dry quickly when you do wash the coverless Duvets,
As Daisy said much easier I would think than wrestling with duvet covers.

Lovely all your friends were there to have coffee this morning,
                          I bet you had a good chat😁

We went to Lidl and Iceland this morning,
Iceland had a family sized strawberry luxury trifle reduced to 57p sell by date was the 1st January so that came home with us 😁

GS Came for lunch he had some for pudding .

Daisy, glad all went well this morning.

Hubby got the bigger light installed, although the other one was fine for me.
Imade enough corned beef hotpot for four meals. Three are in the freezer and one in the fridge for tomorrow.

                              Good morning.

Hoping anyone feeling under the weather turn a corner soon.

Going into town this morning, hubby meeting his pal.

I only need a few bits from the butcher and Iceland.
I'm looking forward to being out for a couple of hours.

G00d morning Nan2 and everyone else.

Cold here and set to get colder over the next few days!!

Glad to hear you are back WG.

I would definitely have bought that trifle Oma

We are popping round to friends for a couple of hours this afternoon. They won't be at ours for New Years Eve this year, so asked us there for a board games afternoon. We have a Tesco delivery due between 6 and 7.

Hoping everyone is well or at least on the mend.
