    Good evening.

Plant, well done GS, hope he is happy in his new home.

Gem, sorry you have a cold and its preventing you from seeing DD.

We didn't go to Wakefield. We wanted to got to the Range for some bathroom stuff.
Went to our local Range then into town. Met up with DS2 for a cuppa.

Oma, good to hear Storm is doing well.

      Good morning.

It's raining. Seems quite a while since it rained. I think the garden needs it though.
I'll be able to get some windows cleaned. Don't like doing them when the sun is on them.

Hubby and his brother were going to a car boot today, but it's cancelled because of the weather. Both of them were disappointed.

Good morning, we had a heavy thunderstorm around midnight, by the look of it, not much rain here, some parts of the Netherlands got a lot of rain.

I have a sinus infection, I had a slight headache a few days then on Friday discovered why! It is very swollen above my left eye, I have never had that before so I do hope that it soon gets better. The strange thing is I have no cold or allergic reaction, that could be with having the medicine I have for the asthma.

        How is your cold Gem!

Nanto, how are you managing without the bathroom?

Oma, a neighbours dog has had the same operation as Storm.

I hope to get to the Lidl for some shopping, our local Lidl is closed next week, for 2 or 3 weeks, all the normal tills are being removed so it will be all self scanning there in the future. So someone told me!

          Morning ladies

The rain started about 10 last night and hasn't stopped,
It's came down in sheets ,

          Lizzie
          Sinus pain is horrible,
It feels like your eyes are on fire , I hope it goes quickly ,
I hate that the likes of Lidl and Aldi seem to be fazing checkouts out,
Our Lidl has just put self service in and it's all card only ,
I won't use them I still pay with cash so I always request a till be opened ,
It's surprising how many people then join the queue , so the public still want checkouts.

          Nanto
A pity about the boot sale but I'm sure they will find something to do.

I don't like cleaning windows when the sun is on them either, you can't see properly can you.

          Gem
How are you feeling today , any better or worse?
I hope it's not the latter xxx

          Daisy
If it's rained at yours like here the lawn will have had a good watering 😁
You won't get any gardening done today I think.

We have to go get some things for MIL and take them over ,
We can't get a week without her 🙄
We making her a beef roast dinner to take over for her tea so she can't moan ,

DD had big plans for the garden today , they are rearranging it to let her have veg beds and renewing the astro turf,
GS&SIL were taking that up today but obviously with this rain it's not going to happen

Have a good day ladies .

            Good morning everyone.

It's raining and dull here too!
I'm so glad DD3's party was yesterday. It was a lovely day and they were in the garden all day. It looked wonderful and DD was so happy. I am so happy for her, and so sad that I wasn't there.

My cold isn't any better so I made the right decision, I can't risk her catching this. I am sleeping in the spare room for now to protect OH. Also she hates the smell of Olbas Oil which I need to breathe during the night!
We were to to go to friends for a games afternoon but I have cancelled. One of them is on medication who lowers her immune system so it wouldn't fair.

Oma, there will be 2 cash self scans, just put cash in and your change comes out, there is one in another supermarket in the village.

A late good Sunday morning, everyone.

I woke up about 6 am and there was heavy mist, and it's been dull all morning, but now the sun has come out. Hopefully the washing will dry. We have had some rain yesterday, but not enough for the garden. It has washed the pollen on the patio into little 'waves' though. It just shows how much pollen is in the air at the moment.

OH has just called me for lunch, so I'll be back later.

Lizzie, everything is plumbed in and usable now.

Hubby has spent all morning, drilling holes, ready for when things can go back.
He said they were the toughest tiles he has ever drilled.

Gem, hope you feel better soon.

Had a nice sit to MILs for a change,
We stayed 2 hours then went and picked Storm up as DD and family went to the metro centre and we still don't like leaving him alone for long,

It's still raining and so dull.

That makes a nice change Oma. Good for all you when she's like that

Nan2 it sounds as though the end is in sight and you will soon be back to normal.

Sinus infections are painful Lizzie, I hope it clears soon.

Did the washing dry Daisy? We didn't have any but if we had it wouldn't have dried outside.

I have had a doing nothing day as I haven't felt like doing anything.
I have cancelled tomorrows aquafit and hopefully I will be fit for Wednesday.

I'm in bed with my Kindle now, so I will wish you all goodnight xx

                          Good morning.

Looks dull this morning. Don't know what the weather forecast is.

I think it will be a quiet day for us.

Off to update the Sainsbury's order now.

                            Morning Nanto, ladies.

                            Nanto
It's damp and dreary hear also,

                            Gem
Hope your feeling better today, a early night will do you good ,

                            Not a lot doing today,
I have a few bits of ironing and some sorting to do but nothing exciting ,
The other bits of the kitchen supposed to come today but we forgot it was bank holiday so they might not come ,
We can't take the chance of going out incase they do,
Last lot just turned up with no warning.

B is cleaning the sofas this morning,
I spilt a full cup of tea on my chair last night ,
Cleaned it up of course but this morning you can see drips everywhere,
So he said might as well clean the whole suite.

Very dreary here, nothing planned. GS3 has moved into his house in Cheltenham, his mother came to visit me with some pics (very Nice) and I had a pic tour around. It is ideal for him, not really as suitable for family. He wants me to go and see it but it has a lot of steps, not ideal for me. It is typical of a London terraced period house but in Cheltenham.

Gemini, good idea to cancel your Aqua swim, hope you are feeling better soon.

Oma, you might have a delivery, I expect you want to get straight now. Butter fingers, I hope B manages to get the stain out.

                                Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, your poor OH. My OH says drilling hard tiles is a nightmare. Those dolphins remind me of warm seas and sparkling sandy beaches.

Oma, what a lovely surprise that MIL was cheerful. I wish she was always like that - it would make things so much easier for you and B, and the rest of the family. I hope the rest of your kitchen items do turn up after you've stayed in for them. Well done to B for cleaning your chair and the rest of the suite as well.

Plant, wishing your GD3 good luck in his new home. What a pity about the steps. Is there an easier back way into his house?

Gem, you're sensible to rest and get better as fast as you can. I hope you're feeling better this morning. Yes, thank you - the washing dried well.

I'm sorry I didn't make it back here yesterday. We were trying to repot some large plants and quite honestly I was worn out even though OH did the heavy lifting. There are still more to do, unfortunately. I think some of them will have to be planted in the garden and take their chances with the weather in the winter.

It's a bit dull but dry here. We're going to get some more gardening done this afternoon. Poor Eva didn't even get a walk yesterday, so I must take her today. She likes to be out in the garden with us, but if either of us bend down she rushes over, wanting a cuddle. I can't say no, and it's nice to stop work for a few minutes.
