Oma,Scarborough is lovely in the sunshine.

Gynae situation is still the same. He want me to use the cream for another couple of months, the see what it its like.
If its no better then,it will have to be cut out. It was cut out 11 years ago,but obviously its come back.

Lizzie, strawberries look lovely. We have had quite a few this past couple of weeks.
They were grown in the Netherlands.

Daisy, poor Eva,tohave been mistreated. She knows she is loved now though.

Nan2, I hope the cream works.

Oma I hope you are enjoying the sun

Lizzie those strawberries look delicious. I don't know when I get the mri results. They will go to the GP who ordered it so I will have to make an appointment with him. I think it takes a couple of weeks or more.

Did you get into the garden Daisy?

Beautiful weather here. I am just back from GS2's Paddington show. It was very good and he was happy to see daddy and me there.

Off to write about the phone now!

Lizzie, those strawberries look scrumptious. Apparently English strawberries are a couple of weeks early this year because of the weather.

Nanto, fingers crossed that the cream does the trick over the next couple of months. The Consultant must think it might work or he wouldn't have suggested it, so that's a positive. It took Eva a long time to realise we wouldn't hurt her so I think she was quite traumatised.

Gem, it sounds as though GS2 has enjoyed being in the show, and I'm sure it was special having you and his Daddy watching.

Oma, how did you spend this lovely sunny day?

I got some gardening done. The sun was lovely but still very windy here. I made a beef casserole in the slow cooker this morning for tonight, and made a loaf as well. I thought about doing some washing as it would have dried a treat, but it felt like a distraction from the gardening, so I didn't bother.

We've got Eva booked in for hydro therapy tomorrow morning and have to call at the vets to collect her Propalin syrup. No other plans, but the forecast is good, so I really must get the lawn cut. I keep putting it off.

                Morning ladies
The sun is out and it's warm,
We went out and about yesterday , went into town browsed around but didn't by anything ,
Came back had lunch and a rest then went for ice cream I got mango gelato and B went for lemon it was very tangy ,

We then went out for fish and chips , well you have to at the seaside don't you😁

Today we are going to the aquarium, and we noticed a really lovely park with a little train just around the corner so we will visit that as well.

We had just got back to the apartment after being to town when we could hear a man shouting ,
Looked out and it was a man in the next apartment shouting at a family on the beach ,
                He was shouting Baby,
This family were all in a circle talking and a baby about 18 month had wandered down to the water and had fallen over and was being rolled in the waves,

At first they ignored him then someone looked up and he pointed and shouted baby again ,
They all ran down and scooped this poor baby up who was screaming by now .

Just shows how easy a child could drown , she was too little to help herself and was being dragged out by the waves.

I'm so pleased this man was on his balcony and seen this ,
The water is freezing as well .

Im not fat just 6ft too small

                          Good Thursday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, it's nice when your garden is done, Isn't it. I know it doesn't stay that way for long, but lovely while it lasts.

Gem, I hope our DDs have enjoyed their few days together. A busy day and evening for you with Little E having his usual Thursday sleepover. I hope the treatment is still helping your OH with the pain.

Oma, how frightening. That little toddler could sos easily have been drowned. Thank goodness they eventually heard the man shouting. A little one doesn't have to wander far to find themselves in trouble. I was out with Eva recently walking along a private unmade road with houses on one side and open Forest on the other. A mum and dad were faffing about their baby in a sling carrier, and didn't notice the 2/3 year old wandering off down the road. I could hear a car coming and shouted to them to get their toddler. I was too far away to stop him. They looked round in absolute surprise, like they'd forgotten about him, so I shouted that there was a car coming and they sprang into action! I have a theory that when people are on holiday they forget about the dangers of traffic, or anything else. After all, you're on holiday what could possibly go wrong or harm you.

Why is it that you get yourself organised in good time for something, but the world conspires against you. I was just taking Eva for a quick "toilet" walk before going for hydrotherapy when the fish man arrived. I left OH with hurried instructions about what we wanted, and left him to pay for it. Eva obliged and we hurried back. We were only a few minutes late leaving for the hydrotherapy appointment. Then we got to a village we have to drive through, to find the road - the only road - closed. So it was a hasty diversion over the Forest on roads that probably don't exist on maps, and certainly not on the Council's pot hole radar. It was a bumpy ride for Eva in the back. We were only a few minutes late but apparently other people had got caught with the same problem. Eva seemed really pleased to be there and couldn't wait to get into the treadmill.

Then we had to go back via the vets to pick up her medicine and it was traffic jam after traffic jam. All caused by temporary traffic lights. I wouldn't mind so much if the roads got better, but as fast as they fill a hole in it reappears. Is it just us, or is it the same in other parts of the country?
