    Morning Nanto, ladies.

It's very wet and dark here , so gloomy.

Nanto I hope it's not raining for your trip into town
Enjoy your cuppa and chat with DS.

    Daisy
Is it wet your end? They won't get next doors patio done if it is will they,
Nothing wrong with a nice collection of table runners 😁

I woke this morning with Thrush , I have felt a tingle for a few days ,
Luckily I always have Canesten duo in so I took the tablet this morning.

Storm was at the vet yesterday,
He is doing so well even though the second operation was more complicated than the first,
In fact he is healing so well the vet said he can have 30 minutes walk without his support harness.

DD said she will still carry it with her at first incase she gets tired and sore,

We went to see him last night , I fed him treats and for the first time in ages he wanted to play with his toys. 😁

Good morning my dears. What a dull miserable one here.

Oh Oma I suffered with Thrush for many years on and off when younger, I sympathise. I hope the treatment works quickly. It's not a nice thing to have.
Good to hear Storm is doing well.

I'm sorry Plant I didn't realise you had been unwell, but I'm very glad to hear you are on the mend now.

Nan2, it will be worth the upheaval to have a nice new bathroom.

Your patio team sound very efficient Daisy.

DD and SIL3 and DD's friend A who is staying with them again this week came to collect little E yesterday. It was lovely to see A again, and DD looked and felt well, especially considering it was the end of chemo week when she can feel a bit below par.
In the afternoon I gave OH some reflexology. I come out of retirement sometimes to give her treatments

No plans today, not so far anyway!

Sunny but very windy, I haven’t ventured outside yet. Not feeling 100% yet so still keeping away from the family especially as the baby is visiting. I hope I will be able to mix tomorrow

I am sure S felt good after her reflexology, I think I could do with some of that.

          Good Saturday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, It's good to have a chance to catch up with our "children" - they are all so busy. Did you get everything you wanted? I think that's the best way to cope with all the upheaval - keep your eye on the prize at the end. The bedside cabinets must have been a good choice.

Oma, next door's patio is finished. My OH had to knock of early yesterday because he was going out, but our neighbour kept going and finished it off. We had light rain overnight, but it's dry and sunny here. Great apart from what feels like a Gale Force 10 wind. You should have seen me and OH trying to fold the cover from the garden furniture. As fast as we folded one part another part blew open again. Comedy central! I hope the Canesten Duo works. Thrush is horrible.

You must have been so pleased to see Storm playing with his toys again. He must be feeling ok, but dogs are great at getting on with the fun things in life, aren't they. I was pleased when Eva wanted to play tug again, and really using her bad leg properly.

Gem, how lovely to see your DD3's friend A. I'm sure she does a good job of cheering your DD up. It's great DD is looking and feeling so well. How is your OH? I'm sure she would have felt better for your reflexology treatment. I was looking at a "map" of the foot yesterday, and it's amazing how many areas and vital organs connect.

Plant, if your weather is like ours, I'd stay indoors, especially if you're not properly well. It's really windy and gusty. It would be lovely in a sheltered spot though as the sun is shining.

We had a busy start to the day. I was just getting dressed after a shower when Sainsbury's arrived - half an hour early. We'd just got everything into the kitchen when our next door neighbour called round. He had ordered a new trailer cover for OH and it had arrived. He was on his way out but stayed for a coffee and chat anyway. I carried on putting shopping away and eventually we had breakfast. But in the meantime OH had helpfully reorganised how I store Eva's dried treats. I buy them in bulk as it's much cheaper and keep them in the garage. OH kindly sorted them into different types, destroying my careful "best before" system. He wasn't best pleased when I pointed that out. But, to be fair, the date stamps on the packets are hard to read, and he didn't notice. We then had the comedy of trying to fold the covers off the garden furniture in the howling gale, and I set up Eva's weave poles and "fly ball" poles on the lawn.

It was sunny when we were in town. But,about 6ish tonight it came very dark, and the heavens opened.

We didn't need much in town, but got the bits we needed.

Oma, hope you feel better soon.Good to hear Storm is doing well.

              Thanks Nanto
Unfortunately it's not uncommon when your a diabetic so I always have stuff in ,
It happens maybe twice a year,

About 5 years ago I had it for 10 weeks it just wouldn't clear
Then one morning I got up and it was gone just cleared overnight,
No rhyme or reason to it πŸ™„

Nanto, our weather can change from summer to winter to heatwave to Artic cold all in one day, can't it. No wonder it's a constant topic of conversation. Let's hope for better tomorrow.

Oma, those 10 weeks must have been awful.

It's stayed windy all day here. Eva wasn't at all impressed when we went out for a walk so we didn't go far.

                  Morning ladies
It doesn't know if its sunny or dull out there , we are getting blue skies then big black clouds,

We might have a drive to Seaham harbour today and go down the marina for a pancake lunch ,
Depending how the weather pans out.

                  Daisy

It was awful , I felt very misserable, the Dr tried but it just wouldn't go away .
Now I try to treat it immediately.

                  How are we all today?
Have. A nice day. Whatever you're doing .

                    Good Sunday morning everyone.

Oma, We've got blue skies and lots of sunshine, but the wind is cold and everywhere is wet from overnight rain. I don't think I'll be gardening unless it dries up. Enjoy your trip out and the sea air. Pancakes for lunch sounds delicious. I hope you're feeling better today. Getting started on treatment quickly makes a difference doesn't it. Fingers crossed for you.

                    No plans for us today.

                      Good morning everyone.
It was a mixed weather day yesterday. Rain wind, sunshine and not very warm. This morning is very sunny and windy. Here ends the local weather report

That sounds a nice trip Oma. Sea and pancakes!

I don't blame Eva not liking the wind Daisy. Cats find it quite exciting!

I am going to deep water aqua this afternoon. No other plans.

                        Good morning.

I could have sworn i was on here earlier, obviously i wasn't.

A few blue skies here and sunny, but it's a cold wind again.

Enjoy your aqua this afternoon Gem.

Oma, sea and pancakes is a good combination.

Oma, I feel a blow at the seaside would do me good. Enjoy the pancakes, do you have savoury ones?

Yesterday evening I went into next door and had a glass of bubbles with them, felt almost normal. No plans today.

Daisy, I have emptied the compost out of the pots in the courtyard ready for some plants, I expect you are itching to get started.

Gemini, enjoy your exercise in the deeper water.

We had a lovely morning but it was blowing a gale .
Almost took us off our feet ,
                              Enjoyed our lunch
We went to see the Tommy sculpture and the cenotaph,
They have about 2 dozen benches around depicting either soldiers or the mining heritage ,
Lovely benches each one different ,

We must come and see your village some time Oma!

The rainy windy morning turned into a sunny windy afternoon, so we got a line of towels dried.

I cancelled my deep water aqua class. I think I was a bit ambitious thinking I was ready for that again. I can't go next Sunday as we are out for lunch so maybe the following one!
I have 3 aqua classes booked next week so I won't be sitting around
