Waiting for my cleaner to arrive, fingers crossed, then I will get in the shower whilst she does the bedroom. I am planning all this but she hasn’t arrived yet. My DD has really had an overload of GC this week, one escaped into here with GD1 (H’s mum) in pursuit.
Oma, pleased to hear you might be able to get your kitchen straight now. A new lightweight chair will be much better for you both. Will he allow you to take a pic.
Gemini, enjoy your Aqua, you deserve it.
No cleaner once again. Granddad taken ill. My DD thinks I should find someone else. Not so easy and she is very good but unreliable due to too many demands on her time.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Nanto, what cute dogs. Some dogs seem to like cuddling up together, perhaps it reminds them of being in the puppy pile when they were little. The weather doesn't sound great. Winter seems to be hanging round.
Lizzie, your office provides a fantastic service. People must be very grateful for it. I'm glad the roses are ok for you. I feel sorry for professional photographers these days. AI will take over a lot of imaging work in all fields of photography, and it's becoming all but impossible to enforce copyright, so your friend is better having a studio at home and keeping his expenses down.
Gem, I'm glad you were able to go to aqua, and I'm sure little E has had a lovely morning with your OH.
Oma, it must be really difficult getting a wheelchair in and out of the boot. My OH's car has a flat loading surface, but my car's boot has a deep lip and even the dogs hesitate before they launch themselves in because they can't see the floor of the boot. Poor Storm, he must wonder what's happening to himself. Can he be bribed to move? Eva can't resist a tasty treat but Cooper digs his paws in and nothing will make him move if he doesn't want to. I can imagine persuading a determined Husky to move takes some ingenuity.
Plant, it's disappointing that your cleaner hasn't turned up again. But you obviously like her and she does a good job, so I can see your dilemma. Is it worth having a chat with her (nicely, as I know how kind you are) to see if there's any way she can improve her time management and the demands made on her. She's probably a very nice lady who finds it difficult to say "no", especially to her family.
At least it's dry here at the moment. Hopefully I can get Eva out for a walk before it rains. Apart from some washing I'm not doing much today. My desk needs a good tidy up so that's just a small job which shouldn't take long. I need to order a few things online, and I've found a lead and no idea what it's for. It's black, so nothing to do with my computer or phone, and I usually label them all, but not this one!

Hello again ladies.
Oh it's horrible weather here! Wet and blustery.
I will need my duvet coat with hood up for the school run.
Daisy I hope you and Eva get your walk in before it rains.
Plant it does sound as though a more reliable cleaner might be a good idea .
Oma it must be hard for your DD making Storm do anything he doesn't want as he's such a big dog!
Little E and OH had fun when I was out and apparently he left with little fuss when daddy came for him. The new sofa had arrived, so he was keen to see it!

Gem, What a lovely day little E has had. I bet he was excited to see the new sofa as well. I wonder if he was allowed to have a bounce on it.
Nanto, what a busy day you had. I bet those fish and chips tasted good.
The sun was shining a bit when I took Eva out, leaving the washing on the line. After a few minutes it started to rain. The wind was howling and it was freezing cold. Then it started to hail, and got even colder. Then more rain, then more hail. Eva didn't object when I turned right for home instead of left for the Forest! Needless to say the washing was wetter than when I put it out!

Gem thank you for the newsletter,
I think with all that's going on we can forgive you if you don't have time in the future to do them ,♥️
I am so glad the flooring in finished,
We do have. A lot more jobs to do before the kitchen is done next month , but they can be done as we go along .
B's new wheelchair came yesterday ,so much lighter than his other one ,
Plus the new hob.
The oven is coming Tuesday,
I have done my housework and now I am having a cup of tea before I tackle the pile of rubbish in the garden,
Put it in some kind of order till B takes it to the tip.
Nanto, Finger crossed thet the day has stayed dry for you. My Yorkshire friend has talked about Wombwell, and I was quite surprised when I saw how it was written. I suppose there are a lot of place named that are pronounced differently. We live near Beaulieu (Beuley) and used to live in Hawarden (Harden). It must be confusing for people.
Oma, your new flooring is gorgeous. I love it. B's lighter wheelchair will make life much easier for you and B. What kind of hob have you chosen?
Gem, I hope you decided to go to the coast. It will do you both good to have a day out, and sea air is always a tonic.
I seem to have had a busy morning. Sainsbury came early and it was a big shop as we've got both GDs staying for a couple of days Monday and Tuesday. I like to get some of their favourite goodies in and spoil them. I find I've got out of the habit of feeding a family, so I've probably over-catered, but both girls eat well and they're a pleasure to cook for.
Then a friend came round for a coffee. We had a good chat and caught up with each other's news. OH and our next door neighbour are cutting up the timber for OH's trailer. It's cold here as well, but very sunny. Doesn't everything feel better when the sun shines.

Good morning everyone, a very cold start! I went on the bike to the village for a few things, GD2 finishes at 10am so we went shopping together, I am looking at E readers, up to now only looking.
I had a good afternoon with the high tea from the housing cooperation, met my neighbours from 50 years ago. It was awful showery weather so and very cold.
I like the floor Oma, it will be easy to keep clean, mind you, knowing you it will always be clean!!
Nanto, enjoy your day out, wrap up well though.
DS1 is coming sometime to lower my washing rack, when it was placed 20 years ago I was quite a bit taller, now I have trouble reaching the lines.
The modern wheelchairs etc are much lighter Oma, the friend has a new walker, very modern and light, the only thing is she prefers her old one.
You have been busy Daisy, you will enjoy having the GD's. Is it half term?
I forgot to post this, as I often do, the sun is out now and my washing has dried.
Gem
I hope you got to the coast ,
As long as you wrapped up against the wind
Lizzie
I think we all shrink as. We get older don't we ,
Poor Sum1 after her accident lost. 2 inches.
Daisy
I am sure the girls will eat everything you have , if they are anything like my lot😁
Your right it does feel better when the sun is out.
We have gone for another induction hob but in white to match the new oven and extractor fan,
I have had a lovely day,
Firstly the post man came with some perfume B bought me ,
Then courier came with a Cornish cream tea and Pasties,
They were from my DD for mother's day,
Two scones , two jams, a big pot of Cornish clotted cream,
Tea bags and two enormous Cornish pasties.
Then we went to B&Q and bumped into GS 2 who works there on a weekend,
He was Just going on his lunch break , so we all went over the road to a nice cafe for him to have his lunch and have a catch up.
We don't see him as much now ,
What with college his girlfriend and work plus he lives quite a distance from us now.
