Plant, I'm so pleased. you have met your newest GGS. Gosh, he sounds like a big boy already. As you say, the medics should perhaps have suggested a CS before mum went into labour. How lovely that the new Dad has got at least 3 months at home getting to know his son and spending time with him. You must be pleased that they live relatively local to you. I hope GD1 and H's colds are soon better.

The toddler is still in hospital, but he's making progress. Having the two dogs together is fine as they are good friends, it's just that I didn't want Missy running and jumping about because she's recovering from surgery.

Oma, oh dear, no wonder you've got a headache after all that drama and coming and going and a difficult journey to the hospital. I hope MIL will use the nebuliser, and your SIL doing MIL's shopping tomorrow will give you and B a break. Sleep well tonight.

I seem to have been doing paper work and other routine stuff most of the day. Even doing the Sainsburys order seemed to take me ages. The weather has been cold but sunny, so I thought I'd take Eva for a long walk this afternoon. We stopped to talk to our next door neighbour (the other side from the toddler's grand parents) and her little puppy, who is very cute. I checked on a friend's house as they are away and then headed to the open Forest. Then the heavens opened. Typical. So I changed my walk to get more protection from trees, but it was too busy to let Eva off - lots of ponies about, traffic and children coming home from school. Still, we had some fresh air and exercise even if we did get rather wet.

OH cooked a very nice dinner - Thai fish cakes with sweet potato chips, cauliflower, French beans and carrots. He's doing very well. For some strange reason we both kept thinking it was Friday today.
