Good morning, Gem, it isn't aqua as aqua, it is fifty fit, that is moving, a lot! I can do it, I do it, but, I must think of my knee! At the gym the trainers all know about the problem and help me to keep moving!

Good morning everyone.
Nan2, is it tomorrow you go on holiday?
Lizzie, aqua here is very energetic! At least you have other forms of exercise you can do and are used to.
Little E is coming here again this morning. DD3 has an osteopath appointment not far from here. I cancelled my aqua for today as with these recurring cold and sore throats I decided the rest would benefit me more than the exercise! OH was set to take over once I left for my class had I been going.
GS2 from school later.

Good morning ladies,
Gem
I think you need some advice from either the Dr or pharmacist, you can't go on having all these sore throats ,
Your obviously run down plus the winter coming on you might need a vitamin boost ,
Enjoy your day with E, when they stop needing a nap they seem to grow up so quickly and you no longer have that little baby do you🥺
Nanto
Last minute jobs for you then a week of relaxation,
December appointment seems a long way away doesn't it.
Well yesterday was stressful with MIL,
Firstly we got to Tesco and they don't do customer wheelchairs as they kept getting stolen,
We hadn't taken hers but luckily we had Bs in the boot and although it's electric you can disable it and just push it but it's very heavy,
Anyway took her in and everything we looked at , it was no I don't like it,
I said you haven't had it from hear so how do you know .
She wanted to look at the ready meals despite us taking her 5 meals.
Well we must have been at the same spot for at least 20 minutes or more,
We went through and showed her everything on the shelves at least 3 times ,
We were blocking people so at the finish I had to say choose or we moving on.
She chose about 4 but we just know she will say they are rubbish.
All around the store she complained ,
It was too big a store they had too much on the shelves the lighting was hurting her eyes,
She could get it cheeper in Morrisons,
Then she wanted to look at the clothes knowing fine well she wouldn't like anything .
We were there two and a half hours, I lost the will to live .
By this time B was in agony he can't walk and stand that long ,
So I said we have to go now ,
She then decided after refusing to look in the freezers she wanted ice-cream
So off we went looked at them all decided she had changed her mind 😞
I said to B just get her to the checkout we not messing about .
We are both shattered today,
We have to take her for a bladder scan next Tuesday so his sister is taking her shopping next Thursday to give us a break.Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good Friday morning, everyone.
Nanto, what a pretty greeting to start the day. It's lovely to be all packed and ready to go. Are you looking forward to your holiday?
Lizzie, I wish someone could wave a magic wand over you poorly knee, but being careful is the next best thing. You're always very active so dropping that one class might be just enough to ease the pain.
Gem, it does sound as though you need a little boost to stop these sore throats and coughs. They must be dragging you down all the time, and with winter approaching I think Oma's advice is very good. You've got a busy but lovely GS day.
Oma, I think I would have abandoned MIL right in the middle of the frozen aisle after all that! Poor B. Could she not see he was struggling. I hope he's ok now. I'm not sure whether a trip to the hospital is better or worse than a trip to the supermarket. Hopefully she won't want to go to Tesco again! Take it easy today and recover. How is your SIL's back? Is he back at work?
We've had a busy morning. We've got a new mattress for our bed arriving at lunch time, so I wanted to pull the bed out and give the floor a good clean. They are taking the old mattress away, so we don't have to worry about disposing of that. The bedding is out on the line, but I don't think it's going to dry.

Great idea getting the mattress taken away , they are big items to lug about and dispose off aren't they.
SIL had no choice but to go back to work but he stayed in the shop yesterday and his partner went out fitting ,
I haven't spoken to him today so no idea how he is .
B had a bad night he was in pain but he's feeling better now,
She did say to him that he looked pale and tired,
The man was in agony no the wonder.
At least the hospital visit he stays in the car while I take her in.
I hope you get a good night's sleep although new mattresses take a while to get used too.

Nanto, I haven't found the sort of things I want in Bon Marche or Damart. Lands End is my favourite and my best hope. I love their clothes and the fit is good. As you say, not the cheapest, but the quality is good and everything washes and wears well.
Oma, poor B. I wonder if MIL worked out why he looked so pale and tired. Tuesday sounds less stressful for him, thank goodness.
The mattress arrived safely. The delivery guys were good, and as agreed they took all the packaging away with them."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning Nan2, Oma and everyone else,
Oma, your MIL is a trial to you both I know and you both do so much for her. B's sister needs to take on more of this stuff which falls to you xx
Hopefully the mattress was a success Daisy. We really need to get a new one!
DD3 and little E stayed for lunch yesterday so it was nice to spend extra time with them. DD2 had told me that GS2 was excited to see me, after our week away. In the playground I got the biggest hugAs he is nine I am making the most of this. DD2 picked him up after tea and stayed for a chat, so a nice sociable day. It was my turn to cook but once DD and GS2 left it was too late to bother so we got fish and chips!
Flu jab for me this morning, no plans apart from that.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Saturday morning, everyone.
Nanto, not long now to your holiday. Do you have an early flight tomorrow?
Oma, after your stressful day with MIL I hope you're taking it easy today. Sit and have a relaxing coffee with DD and relax. Is B feeling ok now?
Gem, our families are so busy, when you get some extra time with them it's a bonus. Yes, enjoy your big hugs from GS2, in case he soon feels too grown up to hug you in the playground. Having said that I think a lot of boys are far more relaxed about granny hugs than they were years ago. My GS2 still gives great hugs even though he towers over me! I hope you don't have any side effects from the flu jab.
The new mattress is lovely, and we both slept very well.
We've got visitors this afternoon, so I'm having a bit of a tidy up this morning."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

We had a nice afternoon with our visitors. They left about 5 o'clock, and I took Eva out for a walk, letting her decide where to go. She chose to go onto the Forest - a very open grassy area which was further than I'd have chosen. So I decided we'd go the quickest way back along the main road, but when we got there there were about 4 or 5 ponies stampeding up and down the road. It's quite scary as they can change direction in an instant, and there weren't any good places to hide, so I took her a different way. By then it was virtually dark and I was wishing I'd used her day-glo harness and lead as there were no street lights. We were both tired when we got home.
