I agree waiting rooms are so badly designed ,
And yes some nurses don't have a powerful enough voice ,
Yesterday one nurse came out , she called a name out twice , went away someone else came out with a louder voice and it was the old couple sitting to my right,
They hadn't heard the first nurse,
Also the chairs are too close together , you feel like your encroaching on someone else's space.
Don't get me started on the horrible lighting especially if they keep flickering.

What a nice neighbour to cut the lawn again,
I hope J is ok after his appointment, did he have another injection?

I messaged Plant this morning and suggested as I said uninstalling and re joining ,
She said that's maybe what she will do .

    Lizzie
I know it's a trouble to you but at least you know it can be drained and that the pain will go away till the next time ,
But something must be done to prevent it returning surely.

Them mice are being little devils , hopefully they have gone and not just hiding till everyone stops looking for them 😁

    How did S's appointment go?
I hope everything is on track xxx

To say we have had glorious sunshine with a bit of breeze, the washing needed finishing off drying.

Oma, B did look smart in blazer.

Hope everyone with medical appointments are ok.

Lizzie, hope the pesky mice have gone to new pastures.

                Well Plant has definitely posted!

                Oma, B scrubs up well

                Lovely day here too Nan2.

Lizzie, I'm glad you have some relief even if it is temporary.

How lovely that your neighbour cuts your lawn Daisy.

All ok at the hospital and the timings worked well. The lady at the hearing aid place was much more helpful than the one we saw last time.
In between we had lunch at the pub next to the hearing aid shop.
It came with a drink as part of the price. I would usually have diet coke but as walking had set my hip pain off I decided to have a glass of wine. I was enjoying it and it was helping - until OH somehow knocked it all over me! All my clothes are now in the wash I did drink over half of it thank goodness!

Oh what a waste of wine Gem,you could have sucked it out of your top 😁
I'm pleased all was well at the hospital ,
                  It's always a worry though isn't it,
Did DD's new sofa arrive ?

Plant seems to have Sorted it I texted her to say we could see it .

I'm feeling tired today we have had too be out every day this week,
Have to take MIL shopping tomorrow,
Friday the man is coming for a final measurement of the kitchen but apart from that we don't have to go out
I'm hoping to get my housework done early then the rest of the day is mine .

                    Oma, you need a rest!

I'm not sure if it was today or tomorrow the sofa was arriving to be honest. I know it was today and tomorrow they needed help. It's a big L shaped one so DD can lay out but little E can also be on there to watch TV, have stories etc. They were worried it may not fit in, so fingers crossed!

Plant, I'm so pleased you've been able to post. There was nothing wrong with your username or password, so I think we can only put it down to naughty gremlins. (By the way, in case anyone is worried, Admin can't see anybody's passwords)

Nanto, I nearly always find drying outside at the moment is a bit hit and miss even when it's sunny, although the bedding did dry properly yesterday.

Oma, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks waiting rooms are unnecessarily unpleasant. The seats facing each other today were so close you couldn't help but play footsie with the person opposite. No, J didn't have an injection, just the eye check and a scan. It will take 4 weeks for them to let us know if he needs an injection or not. They used to do it straight away at one time. No wonder you're tired after such a busy week. I hope MIL is still on best behaviour for shopping tomorrow. Not too long now to wait for your new kitchen

Gem, thank goodness your OH's appointments all went well. It makes such a difference when the professional looking after you is approachable and helpful. I had to smile at the fate of your glass of wine, mainly because I made ham, tomato and cucumber sandwiches at lunch time and OH bit into his sandwich and a slice of tomato flew out covering him in juice and seeds, all over his jumper. Somehow or other though it was my fault. . I hope your hip is feeling better now. Did you have to walk far?

I hope DD3 and SIL like their corner sofa. My DIL1 has just got an L-shaped one and it's very comfortable, but you need lots of cushions because the seat is quite deep. But it's great for sprawling out on and relaxing. Their dog agrees! .

We're very lucky with our next door neighbours, but at least we reciprocate. OH often sorts out various things for him, and he always says it's like having a DIY store right next door. Our garage is a treasure trove of things you never knew you needed. We also look after each other's dogs, which is useful to both of us.

We both feel tired after today. There's no particular reason, except an early start.

                          Good morning.

I think it's going to be another nice day weather wise.

                          Dishwasher on doing it's thing.

I've got steak and onions in the slow cooker for pies, which i will make tomorrow. They will be going in the freezer.

After dinner when the dew has dried, I'm going to cut the grass. Hubby spent yesterday getting the mower ready. He changed the oil, sharpened the blade and whatever else he does to it.Hubby will be working in the front garden.

                          Sainsbury's delivery between 9 and 10.

I've got a pile of ironing to this morning.

Daisy, we have good neighbours as well. All help each other.

Your garage sounds like ours, every tool and gadget you mention. I often wonder how he finds anything but 9 times out 10 he knows where everything is.

                            Good morning everyone.

Its certainly good to have good neighbours Daisy and Nan2.

I hope the shopping trip with MIL is as painless as it can be Oma.

I hope Plant can post today

Little E day. I collect him from nursery just after 12 as they have an early lunch. We may go to the library if he fancies that. It will be nice today so we could go to the park. As my hip is playing up I won't really be able to lift him in and out of swings, so maybe not.

                              Morning Nanto, ladies.

                              Nanto
I suppose to hubby in his garage knowing where everything is is like we do in the house,
I know where everything is even if it hasn't been used for a while,
Unless I put something away for safe keeping then promptly forget where it is😁
I got the iron and ironing board out yesterday afternoon , only to look in the laundry basket and find only two items in there,
                              I did them anyway .

                              Daisy
I would love a L shaped sofa but our room is too small,
Your right about the cushions, my DD has a really big one but I can't rest on it the width means if I scoot back on it my legs dangle over the edge ,
                              It's so comfy though.

                              Gem
                              Did the sofa arrive?
Did the wine stains come out, sometimes it takes a couple of washes doesn't it,
How is your hip and leg today , do you feel any better?
Pain can get you down and it's always when you need to be mobile and on hand isn't it ,
                              Big hugs my friend xxx

                              Lizzie
Any sign of those pesky mice today?

                              I. Have done two loads of washing , one lot dry in the tumble ,
I'm off to Aldi in a minute then over to MILs ,
We having a break from taking her next week, her Grandson has a few days off so he and B's DS2 are taking her.
I could have done with it this week , but never mind it's got to be done.

We are taking her 3 meals 2 lamb hot pots that she loves
and we did ribeye steak in the oven with sliced onions and sliced potatoes for tonight ,
One of the hot pots can go in the freezer .
She better eat them, they are not cheap meals to make ,
Have you seen the price of lamb lately it's shocking.

Oma, as I was having a fish finger sandwich I chose a glass of white wine, luckily! I wore a blue top and jeans, so it could have been worse!

Your MIL is so lucky to have those lovely meals taken to her.
