DD was too tired to come out with us, but we had a nice chat and spent time with her when we took little E home. He had a lot of fun, had us playing hide and seek all around the gardens and enjoyed a very big chocolate orange brownie in the cafe

I had a text from my massage therapist when we were out, so I now have a cancellation appointment on Tuesday morning. It has eased a lot, but some deep tissue work on Tuesday should really help.

Nanto, I love the graphic. It reminds me of the hectic pace of life when you've got a full-time job! Oma's right about going with the flow. Something invariably happens. If so I hope it's something nice.

Oma, fingers crossed for today. It's not fair that you and B should have to worry about how MIL will behave when you're doing something to help her.

Do you know if it's just GRU Plant can't access, or is it her iPad in general?

I didn't think to ask , I have just text her to see.

Well we survived MIL today,
She was very good in fact,

Firstly we went to Specsavers , we were in there over a hour ,
she was starting to get tired and a bit irritable but she plodded on,

We then went to Costa and she had coffee and cake , to revive her.
Then to Bon Marche and she bought a blouse,
We then went to M&S where she bought underwear and some nice food for herself,
We were out almost 5 hours, so by time we got her home she was wrecked,
I made her a cup of tea and she had another cake and was settling down to have a nap when we left.

We also got a call from the garage , our car is fixed and ready to pick up tomorrow,
The part came quicker than expected ,

I have to be at the eye infirmary at 8.30 in the morning just for a check up so we will take the hire car to the garage and pick ours up on the way home.

I had a lovely afternoon with DD3. We had a little cry, but mostly nice chats and we enjoyed watching Jumanji together
Little E spent the day with DD2 and went with her to collect his cousin from school, which they will both have enjoyed.

Thank goodness MIL behaved. Do you think she realised that you had got fed up with the tantrums? No wonder she was tired after all that shopping.

You must be so pleased to be getting your car back tomorrow. I hope your eye check up is ok.

Gem, I'm so pleased you had a lovely day. You both certainly needed it. I had to look up Jumanji as I'd never heard of it. Is it something you watched with the girls when they were young? Little E likes going to collect his cousin from school, doesn't he. I bet he had a lovely day with DD2.

The sunshine stayed with us all day today. It makes everything feel better somehow. I did a couple of hours gardening this afternoon, just light pottering, and stopped for a while to have a chat with a lovely neighbour who I don't see very often. It was still nice and sunny, so I took Eva down to the river for a paddle - recommended by the vet to exercise her injured leg. I went out in trainers, but really needed wellies. Everywhere is muddy. Still, it washes off, so no harm done. We didn't get back till 6 o'clock, but saw a lovely sunset.

I must sort out my pan cupboard today.
When we had the cupboards painted last year,i got rid of some pans, but they seem to have multiplied.

Daisy Jumanji was released when DD3 was 7 and I remember her dad and I taking her to see the film when it first came out.
It's still muddy around here too.

Oma, DD3 and I are so close. She was born (and very much planned and wanted) after 10 year gap. Her sisters had each other her dad worked away a lot , we really were a team. As she knows, she has made so happy since she was born. She gives me the best hugs of anyone. I think she is coming to stay at the weekend again.

Our pan cupboard badly needs sorting out Nan2. Some to throw out and probably a couple more need buying to replace them.

No library for me today. I had planned to go after my 9am massage. However she has a 10.15 cancelation so offered me that instead. I took it as the traffic would be busy at the earlier time, I will get there much faster at the later time.
I will pop to Sainsbury's on the way home.

I wonder if the blood moon will be visible?
