We are having the same weather as you Daisy although I am watching the boat race and they have fine weather in London.

We have sun but it's on the chilly side a bit of a breeze going on.
On the bright side it got my washing dried.
I've just ironed as well Daisy . To be honest there wasn't a lot but I still hate doing it.
I feel I just get it done and there is more washing and more ironing.
I don't know how I did it when DS was at home , he was a nightmare for changing so the washing was constant then DD was pregnant so I did her and SILs ironing till GS was at least 3 .
I wouldn't and couldn't stand as long now .
J is stepping up to the market isn't he , well done that man 👍⭐
How are you managing Eva's walks ? I meant to ask xIm not fat just 6ft too small

We have had a lovely few days with the weather and family activities, my DS#2 Graduated with 1st Class Honours in Engineering on Friday in Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and has already commenced his Masters in Advanced Operational Engineering so another Graduation Ceremony in 2 years time in Brunel University, Glamma Nanna will be so super proud of him, as I certainly am, then DD went for her 12 weeks scan on Thursday so GB#6 on way in October, all is really well. Completed an extra two shifts this morning in work, now cooking all the family yes 11 of us today a Lamb Roast. With a wee Pinot Grigio to help me survive hahah. Have a lovely weekend ladiesYou do not have permission to view this gallery.

Plant, the rain must be very localised. My DS2 lives about 8 miles away and they could see the black clouds, but no rain! It's been showery off and on all day. It's also quite chilly.
Nanny N'Ange, many congratulations to your DS2. I hope his Masters goes well - I'm sure all the hard work will be worth it, and I can only imagine how proud your Mum would be of him. Lovely news about GB6 on the way. Aren't those scans amazing. I hope by now you're sitting with your feet up and the family are doing all the clearing up after your lamb roast. Hope the Pino Grigio helped keep you going after such a busy day. xx
Oma, I didn't finish the ironing, but I'd had enough. I did a bit more later, but there's still some odds and ends to do. My GS2 is like your DS - gets through several changes of clothes a day. When we were looking after them last summer I couldn't cope and their other gran kindly took on both boys' washing and ironing. J is walking Eva every day at the moment. I suggested he let her decide where they went, and he's seen parts of the village he's never been to before. Luckily she always knows her way home!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

NannieN, CONGRATULATIONS to your son!
Happy news about the scan, and have a lovely family dinner. Roast lamb is my favourite
Plant it's lovely to have new GransRus babies on the way.
Oma we had sun but then it clouded over and its breezy. I was saying to OH no way would we have wanted to sit in the garden as we did with DD3 yesterday afternoon!
Damn that rain Daisy! It sounds as though Eva and J are getting about“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

How proud you must be all these achievements with your family,
Graduation and a new baby on the way , so exciting.
I love your handbag by the way 😁
A very handsome son you have there .
Glamm and your Dad will be watching over you all 💞
Daisy
As you say just as well Eva knows her way home 😁poor J I can imagine him finding places he never knew and wondering if he can find his way home 🤣🤣
Gem
We said the same , the sun was out but not warm enough to sit outside today , that wind was a bit cold.
It must have been the day for Lamb roasts as we had one too.
B cut my lamb very thin as I'm not a great lover but thinly cut I can cope with it .
I must admit it was nice and the gravy was really tasty.

Morning Nanto
Chips egg and beans is a good meal I hope he enjoys every mouth full .
Try to keep him in check , just because he feels ok he's still healing inside , but you can't tell them can you 🥴
Nice morning, I have done what I need too so not a lot on today.
GS & Lucie coming for they're Easter gifts today, GS has to be back in Leeds later then I think that's it for the summer.

Good morning everyone.
I'm sure your hubby will be back to normal in no time Nan2 (as long as he takes it easy for a while!)
I bet you are glad to have him home .
Oh LOL Oma, those hilarious texts from your sister must make your day!
No aqua today. Apparently there is no instructor. We are all a bit miffed as it's Easter next Monday so no class then either.
OH and I are going out for an afternoon tea lunch!
We had an afternoon tea voucher for Christmas. It's a hotel in town.
We decided to make that our anniversary meal out

A slightly late Good Monday Morning from me.
Nanto, I'm so pleased to hear your hubby is safely home and faring well. I'm sure whatever he'd wanted for dinner you would have made it, but chips, eggs and beans is one of his favourites, isn't it. Like everyone else, I hope he will take it easy while he heals from the operation. Give him my best wishes. Did you sleep ok last night?
Oma, Have GS and Lucie got eggs waiting for them? GS will have a long summer break, but hasn't this year flown by! I laughed out loud at your sister's text messages. But I bet we've all been there, fumbling with tiny keys and technology we're not used to.
Gem, what a pity about aqua today, but hopefully you can go on Wednesday. Enjoy your anniversary lunch, and the rest of your day. It sounds as though Poppy is going to be a bit of a hunter, but a pigeon sounds like a big prey for a little kitten.
It's dry and fairly sunny here today, and OH is doing a great job weeding one of our borders. He hates gardening, but he knows I can't do it at the moment, so he's getting on with it, bless him. I'll try and do a bit of hoeing after lunch.

Gemini, sorry about the Aqua. You do enjoy it. Congratulations on your anniversary, those years seem to have flown by. Hope the tea is good.
Daisy, I am sure you are missing your walks with Eva, you will have to put a tracking device on your OH when he walks Eva. Very frustrating not to be able to do some gardening.
Oma, those messages from your sister must be amusing, she will get there eventually.
I expect you are looking forward to a visit from GS, he will be back for his vacation soon. Get cooking
I am hoping to get a gardener soon. My Sil does the grass and hedges and I usually do the borders. My DD has no interest in gardening, calls it outdoor housework.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
