We have been to Asda before it gets busy,
I'm having a cup of tea then I will start washing my doors down and general housework,
DD will be over with the dog so no point doing the floors.

Oma does Storm make your doors dirty? Mine could do with a clean but I love GGD’s handprints on them.

I plan to have a walk around the garden today, perhaps up the track and the lane but not in the woods.

It seemed to improve, then got much worse and fingers crossed is now on the way out again. I tried to do a Covid test but the liquid in our tests had evaporated!

He makes the patio doors dirty and the back door when he jumps to open the handle,
But he's good with indoor doors he knows to just stand there and one of us will open it. 😁
It's when he puts his wet nose on the patio window to look for the cats and squirrels then licks them that drive me mad 🤣

We couldn't take a test either for the same reason , I didn't realise it evaporated over time.
The sunshine might just do you good , well at least make you feel a bit brighter xx

After DD had been we went to B&Q to get the paint in ready for the decorator but we forgot the make we wanted ,
I have a 3/4 full tub already in so wanted another of the same but couldn't for the life of me remember.

We then came home and I was shattered after cleaning, shopping , and B&Q that I lay down on the sofa and slept a full hour.

I forgot to tell you ,
G S said on Monday he had a lecture, it's the business side of the course and he finds it tedious but it has to be done ,
Anyway he went in and there was only 4 of them and his lecturer who is quite well known in the music industry (he did all the Adele stuff and lots of other artists) was really interesting this week

It ended up with a video chat with Kate Bush ,

He rang her and asked if she would speak to them.
GS said she was lovely and talked for ages ,
He asked her lots of questions and she complimented him on it ,
She said they were very valid questions and she would happily answer any more he had .
He said they all came out of the lecture buzzing 😁
So what is usually the boring end of the business turned out to be the most interesting.

Gem, fingers crossed that virus is properly on the way out this time. I would imagine it is good for GS1 to spend time with other children, especially those he knows and likes, and the fact that GS2 is younger probably makes it easier for him.

Plant, yes, you have had better weather like my DIL1, who lives fairly near to you.

Oma, how annoying for you not being able to remember what make of paint you needed. You must have needed that sleep. What a shame only 4 students attended that lecture! But all credit to your GS for being one of them, and for asking Kate Bush questions. There's nothing like getting advice from those with successful front line experience and your GS must have been delighted that she was so interested. Is he going to follow it up with a 'thank you' message to her? It can't do any harm.

My lazy day ended up being quite active! OH steam cleaned the kitchen and cloakroom floor and I washed the bathroom floors, cleaned the bathrooms and our bedroom, ran the sucky up thing round the house and cooked dinner! I've portioned up dog food this afternoon and taken Eva for a walk, but it's definitely time to put my feet up now!

Oma, a very interesting and exciting lecture for GS.

Had a good day in Wakefield. We bought a pair of bedside lamps, hubb'y packed in last night.
He had a look at it before we went out, but it couldn't be repaired,so new ones it was.

Weather has been very mild today,i think its the same for tomorrow.
I heard its going to turn cold from monday.

How interesting for GS, Oma

A lovely sunny day and 18 degrees according to OH's car.
We went out to do a few jobs this afternoon. Drop off a birthday card to one friend, check our holidaying friends house, feed the cat and Guinea pig at DD1's, and buy a pan at Dunelm.
I was exhausted after all that even though a lot of it was just sittign in the car! The rest of the time I have rested. Fish and chips for tea tonight so no cooking.

Good morning.

Hoping the weather is as nice as yesterday. I want to get the grass cut.

Just doing an easy dinner. Corned beef,onion, baked beans pie. Similar to a cottage pie, but not with mince. It does have mash on the top.
I took it out of the freezer yesterday and it's the last one.

It's quite misty here as thick fret .
We are going to a local market this morning just for a browse.
It's years since we have been.

I have a white wash on and I have a pile of towels after that ,

Just washed my tea sugar and coffee containers out I noticed yesterday they looked a bit grubby inside ,
It's mainly the sugar one always seems to have hard bits of sugar stuck to the side.

We hardly use sugar B uses sweetener in his coffee I don't use it at all.
It's only likes of cakes etc it gets used for so I don't know why it gets so mucky 😄

It's sunny here, and fairly mild, so I'll perhaps have a potter round in the garden. The weeds are already making progress so I'll have to get out there with the hoe.

Oma, we have been getting washing out on the line recently too.

Nice weather for gardening Daisy.

No plans here apart from cat and guinea pig feeding over at DD1's. They will be back later today, so it's only this morning to do. I may colour my hair this afternoon. I don't feel like doing anything today, but we shall see as the days goes on.

Well we drove 25 minutes through the Tyne tunnel to get to the market and couldn't get parked.
It was heaving even the car park was over flowing , all around was permit parking only and I can understand why as it's the train station and I suppose people park when getting trains .
Then Saturday & Sunday the market is held in the Train station.

People were driving round and round trying to get a spot .
It opens at 8. 30 and it seems you have to be up with the larks to get a spot and wait till it opens.
Next time we try we will get the metro in it will be much easier.

So we came home went to Lidl then I put my washing out apart from the towels I like them in the tumble.
I'm not sure the washing will dry as it's damp out , but I will give it a go and check on them in a hour.
If not they will be tumbled.

Lovely day here too, nothing planned. DD and Sil off on holiday very early tomorrow morning. Apart from trying to make an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow it is a quiet week, apart from Board Games on Wednesday.

Daisy, my borders are very weedy and things need pruning, I am hoping to find a gardener to sort me out.

Oma, enjoy your trip to the market, I haven’t been to one for years. Are you planning to buy vegetables?

Nanto, grass cutting in our house is a man’s job. Sil does our grass which is a lot. DD only sits in the garden.
