    Morning everyone
All up and about with the larks I see.

    Enfys
You will feel so much better in your own home and bed, just give yourself time to heal and get better xx

    Gem
I like chicken casserole especially this time of year it’s hearty isn’t it,
Hope you enjoy your takeaway at DDs,
I take it S won’t be golfing today after all the rain we have had,xx

    Daisy
Enjoy your day , fingers crossed for a quiet weekend 😁

    Nanto
Enjoy your meal especially the dumplings , best bit in my opinion 😁

    Lizzie
Good old Nana with the solutions 😁
I bet your legs are sore today.

Wet and windy but brighter than yesterday.
Need to pop to the fruiters and get some leeks then into Iceland for a few bits but that’s about it for us today.
Need to be in for a Amazon parcel so no plans for later.

Spoke to Sum1 last night, she is free of the cage but still in so much pain.

Daisy, enjoy your day out, hope the weather is kind to you.

Lizzie, well done grandma, your Gd’s know where to come for help.

Gemini, The weather is not good for S, the golf course must be sodden.

Mimi, nothing to forgive, but we love to see you joining in any time. I hope you've had a great day today.

Enfys, I hope you sleep well tonight, back in your own bed. That little pub sounds like a real find, and it's good you felt better for the outing.

Oma, I can see why your MIL didn't like her 'new' look - it's so different from her usual one, but would it save her having to have regular perms or is her hair naturally curly? Did your parcel arrive ok?

Gem, another busy GC day for you. I bet S is fed up with the golf course being closed yet again.

Nanto - beef casserole and dumplings must be the perfect cold day meal.

Plant, did you manage to go to the board games afternoon? I hope you're feeling a bit better.

Sum1, I'm so pleased to hear you're free of the cage, although I'm sure you are having to follow a lot of instructions about not doing too much. I do hope the pain will gradually ease for you. xx

Dinner last night went fine. Both sets of friends are good company and we all know each other well. The stuffed rolled chicken dish I made was a lot of faffing about, and not helped by the bacon being a bit too thin to withstand being wrapped around the chicken breasts. So I had to hold each piece together with cocktail sticks, and remember to remove them before serving!! I was going to use the air fryer, but 6 portions was too much for one basket, so I used the oven instead. Everyone said they were very tasty, but I won't be rushing to make that recipe for 6 again. Still, I suppose it's good to try something new occasionally, and I'd make it for just OH and me.

I'll write a bit about today's trip to the Isle of Wight tomorrow. It's been a very long, but enjoyable day, and I'm off to bed. Sleep well, everyone. xx

Good morning, I think we are forecast some sunshine.
Washed a load of darks, waiting for it to get light then I'll hang them out.

Daisy, pleased the meal and evening went well.

We are out this evening to a surprise 30th birthday for GD1.
              Her birthday is actually tomorrow.
It starts at 5 o'clock because children are allowed.

We aren't having a dinner, there is a buffet at the party, so we'll probably just have some toast.

Just made another coffee, so off to finish it.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

                Morning Nanto/ ladies.

                Nanto
I like a buffet if it’s done well.
                enjoy.

                Daisy
Yes thanks my parcel arrived but not till 7 pm so waited all day but that’s Amazon for you.

MILs hair is straight I think but I can’t ever remember in all these years seeing her without a perm.
Her hair is so thick though loads of it , her hairdresser always said they had to use more perm curlers than usual to accommodate all of it.

Pleased the meal went well , I think it’s different doing stuffed chicken for two your under no pressure are you😁

                Mimi
I hope you had a lovely birthday , it’s so nice to see you popping in , please come again when you have time xxx

                Its a lovely bright morning
All my housework done , I did upstairs yesterday afternoon,
Popping to Asda for a few things and a new kitchen bin,
MIL tonight but apart from that nothing exciting.

They had her going up and down the stairs yesterday and she passed with flying colours.
All her aids are being delivered on Tuesday to the house so she may be home soon.

Martin and Clare taking Finn this morning ,
there is a cafe under the rehab , as Finn isn’t allowed on the ward Martin will take her down and they will all have lunch in the cafe,
                She will enjoy that.

Good Saturday morning everyone. We have sunshine! I don't know what the forecast is, but it's good to start the day with cheerful weather.

Nanto, how lovely for GD1. I hope she enjoys her surprise 30th party. Don't these milestone birthdays come round quickly! I like buffets because it's a treat to be able to choose your favourite goodies.

Oma, I don't suppose MIL is going to give up on her perms after all those years. She is lucky her hair is still so thick and healthy. I do hope she enjoys her lunch in the cafe with Martin, Clare and Finn. She's certainly doing well with getting mobile again.

I'm just off for a shower and then we'll go and collect Eva from DS2's. It's so quiet in the house this morning without her. She doesn't bark unless someone comes to the door but she's always thundering up and down stairs and running round. DS says she's been very good there - it's certainly a comfortable home away from home for her.

Good morning ladies. The sun is shining here too!

Nan2 I hope you all have lovely meal for your GD's birthday.

I bet that lunch with family will do MIL good Oma.

I'm glad the isle of Wight day was a good one Daisy.

We had chat with DD and SIL2 after their night out so we didn't get home until 12.45! An easy day today so we were able to have nice lazy start.
No plans, but we may go to Aldi as we haven't for a long time.

Just had a little sit in a chair under cover in the garden, needed the fresh air, sun gone in now.

Nanto have a lovely time with the family party.

Oma, The arrangements for your Mil to go home are progressing well, she is certainly one tough lady. Hope the new hair style grows on her. I hoped B’s hand is healing well.

Daisy, I am sure Eva has had a lovely time but she will be pleased to get home I am sure.

Plant, you really appreciate some fresh air when you haven't had chance to sit outside for ages. I hope it helps you to sleep better tonight.

Gem, I hope you're enjoying your lazy day.

We went and fetched Eva late morning and stayed for a cuppa and a chat with DS2. We were just about to leave when DIL2 and the GDs got back home, so stayed on to have a chat with them. Eva and Cooper were both pleased to see us, and we realised while we were chatting that it was Cooper's 7th birthday!

We're having a lazy day with leftovers for dinner, so very little cooking.

Left overs are so useful , no messing about when your tired.

Nice to have a lazy sort of day isn’t it.

MIL has had a lovely day , she enjoyed lunch out with Martin and co, she never stopped talking tonight, she even walked up the corridor to see us to the door then when we were leaving she went to visit another lady in her room.
She may get home sometime next week.

I have just changed Bs dressing and it’s healing nicely , still open but no bleeding and looks like new skin growing .

Happy birthday Cooper! Daisy we had leftovers too. Chicken casserole with a baked potato.

In PJs watching Strictly now, after our late night last night.

I'm. sure Cooper got plenty of fuss for his birthday.

Gem, I can't understand people who don't use up leftovers - so quick and easy to make a perfectly good meal.

Oma, your MIL is amazing. She's doing so well now she's away from that noisy hospital ward.

                                Good morning.

Oma, glad B's hand seems to be healing.
MIL sounds like she is going in the right direction.

We didn't stay late last night. There was no heating on at the venue, it was very cold.
Music was too loud for us, couldn't hear what anyone was saying.

Looking forward to today. 12 of us going for a meal.
It would have been Mam's 100th birthday tomorrow, if she was here.

Plant, hope you slept better, after having a bit of fresh air.
