    Morning ladies
So far we have had snow sleet rain and sun
It rained hard during the night and the wind was getting up.

    Nanto
I would like my units grey or dark blue or even sage green ,

Off to MILs, no food today B hasn't been up to cooking anything for her, but his sister took 3 meals on Monday so she has something in and I know she went shopping yesterday.

I hope everyone is ok today,
I will pop back later and catch up with the news.

      Good morning my friends.

Clover, your poor DS! As Oma says I have heard it is one of the most painful conditions.

Nan2, nice that you don't have lots of decorating to do.

Daisy, that's common I think , medical people being unsure whether hips, knees or something else is the problem! I read that hip replacements are not recommended for scoliosis patients, so so I wouldn't be a candidate anyway.

Little E day today. DD3 hasn't been too well either, so it may not be a full day. We shall see.

      Have a good day everyone.

        Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, doesn't that little group of cottages with the windmill and the sea/lake beyond it look idyllic! It will make the job easier not having to decorate the whole kitchen, and now you've mentioned it I remember you getting new flooring not long ago. I look forward to seeing some photos when the cupboards are finished. You've reminded me I haven't finished cleaning our windows, but they won't get done today.

Oma, the one thing you can say about our weather is - it's never boring, is it! I hope MIL is in a good mood. It's good of B to go when he's not feeling very well.

Gem, I never realised diagnosing whether the problem is hips, knees or something else was such a problem. But it must be a very common one. Poor DD3 - I hope it's nothing serious, but I think a lot of people are feeling under par after all the lurgies and such a long, dreary winter.

I'm meeting up with my old college friends for lunch today, but I'll pop back later.

While B has been feeling ok today we have had a productive morning,
Went to MILs , she was in a good mood for a change.
We then popped into Morrison's for bread on the way home ,
Had a early lunch then went to SILs shop and chose new carpets for both bedrooms and in the summer we are renewing the astro turf in the garden so chose that,
From there we went to B& Q for emulsion ready for the decorator on Monday,

We are home now having a cuppa and don't intend going out again 😁

Weather very cloudy today. A friend came for a coffee so I didn’t get on earlier, she is French but has lived in GB since she was a young woman and is married to an English man. I go to her house once a month for a craft get together. H at nursery school, she is still coughing a bit.

Oma, I hate having decorators in, hate choosing colours. I envy you being able to make decisions like that. Pleased to hear B has had a day without the coughing.

Daisy, have a nice lunch and chat with your friends.

It's not a cough he has it's sickness.
Pleased H is feeling well enough for nursery,

When it started raining,i was busy doing other jobs.

Plant, glad H was well enough for nursery.
Oma, pleased B eas feeling a bit better.

Daisy, hope you have/had a lovely time with your college friends.

Hallo everyone, I have just got home from the police information afternoon about the digital life we lead!!! Very interesting and a lot of good tips. He was saying how A1 is a criminals paradise.

I went into town for a couple of things and came home loaded with three bags! I bought a bird box in the shape of a human house for £2.99 in Lidle.I wasn’t expecting much as I didn’t open the packaging but just saw the illustration and I am quite impressed!!It seems sturdy. Just to find a suitable place for it and hope it attracts some residents. It was very cold out ,everyone was commenting.
Daisy mentioning dog training reminded me to ask if anyone watched Crufts? I watched the final and some of the other judging. It’amazing how many breeds of dog there are. How they train the dogs in the “dancing with dogs” competition I really don’t know.
Hope those under the weather look after themselves and feel better soon.

Oma, good to hear B was feeling well today, and that MIL was showing her sunny side. It's lovely to have new carpets. I hope you put your feet up after such a busy morning.

Plant, the monthly craft get together sounds fun. Pleased H is back at nursery. Is her cough worse in the evening when she's tired?

Nanto, I bet you'll catch up with the window cleaning before I do! But it's no use trying to clean them in the sun.

Lizzie, what a useful information session. I think AI can be very useful, but also will become a problem in ways we haven't even thought of yet.

Clover, what a fruitful shopping trip. I hope your arms didn't ache though. My niece who is 'into' bird nesting boxes and bug houses says nest boxes should be positioned facing north so they don't get baking hot in the sun, and high enough to deter cats etc. It sounds as though yours is a bargain.

I watched a bit of Crufts - I'm in two minds about the morality of breeding endless puppies when far too many end up in rescue centres, or worse still being euthanised, and also the way some breeds are bred for appearances without any regard for the dogs' well-being. But I do love to see all the different dogs, and love the heelwork to music. It must take hours and hours of practice for both handler and dog to learn those routines. I've done a very small amount with Eva, and she can weave between my legs while I move forwards or backwards. She will follow hand signals to twirl, go round me and a few other simple moves. She loves doing it, but it's nowhere near as complicated as those routines. And being quite a big dog she can easily knock me over!

I had a lovely lunch with my college friends at the golf club. It was a beautiful sunny day and the views out over the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Needles were stunning. As always we had plenty to talk about, and another colleague who had just played a round of golf came and had a chat. It was one of those sessions where we were all catching up with news of other people from college. I got home about 4 o'clock and took Eva out for a good walk, and am just getting my grocery order sorted for tomorrow.

                        Good evening.

Daisy, social times like that do us good

That bird box sounds a bargain Clover.

Lizzie, lots about AI scares me.

I'm glad B is feeling a bit better Oma,

My antibiotics are working. Tomorrow I plan to phone my auntie . I have wanted to for over 2 weeks but my voice hasn't been phone-worthy! I am still slightly croaky, but miles better.
DD3 also has a chest infection and was prescribed antibiotics today.
Little E was lovely company as usual.
Sunshine and showers all day again. The kittens didn't spend much time outside as they kept getting wet!

                          Good morning.

Daisy, how lovely to have those stunning views while out for lunch.

Gem,glad the antibiotics are doing their job. Hope DD feels better soon.
I'm sure Auntie will be pleased to hear from you.

Oma, glad MIL wasn't too bad, be thankful for small mercy's.

I've heard the weather is due to warm up after the weekend, so that is something to look forward to.

Homemade meat and potato pie for dinner, took it out of the freezer yesterday. Will serve with mixed veg and gravy.

I forgot to mention, the same police team that gave the information yesterday also do a weekly (safe) gaming with the young ones, I did read about that and that it is very popular .

Ai scares me , it could be used for so much good but it's already being used for not so good reasons,
Safe gaming should be taught in schools even 1 lesson a month would help.

                              Daisy
How lovely to have a catch up and a beautiful view to boot ,
When the sun shines everything looks so much better.
Did you get your food order done ?

                              Nanto
I'm with you for meat and potato pie especially with lovely gravy 😁

                              Liz
                              How are you today,
Do you think the antibiotics are kicking in ?
It was wet yesterday I don't suppose the kittens like getting an impromptu bath 😃

I woke with yet another cold and coughed all night , it's been coming on for a few days.
Got to get on with it though,

We have to go to the tip this morning, when the shed was moved there was a lot of old pots behind we forgot about so they have too be gone,
Then I have an Appointment at the eye infirmary at 4 , this was a urgent appointment made 5 months ago by my optician so I can't cancel,
It's just for a pressure test and field vision test then back on Monday to see the Dr .

I feel like rubbish and tired but will probably pick up as the day goes on I hope.

                                Good morning everyone.
                                Another sunny one so far!

                                Cute graphic Nan2.

Oma, it gets you down catching one thing after another. I hope you feel better soon and this cold doesn't get any worse.

Our hairdresser is coming this morning. No other plans today. No school run. DD2 has been in London working all week so is taking GS2 out for tea. He misses her (and she him) and as she says it gives me a rest day.
My antibiotics are one a day, so I have one more this afternoon then one tomorrow. I am much better so hopefully will be right by the end of the course.

                                Happy Friday ladies.
