Time to Chat Day by Day

We have had a lovely sunny day, got some jobs done in the garden and had a long sit in the sunroom with my I Pad and watched some tennis. I am not a football fan but not much else on so I will watch the match about to start. Bit cool now so need a cardigan.

Oma, I am sure it isn’t long ago you decorated your sitting room. I don’t know where you get the energy from.

Oma, those toilets sound horrendous.
Glad you got sorted with wallpaper.

We had visitors all afternoon yesterday. Two of hubby's brothers came.

Hubby out for a couple of hours this morning.When he gets home, we are going to visit his sister and hubby.
They live near our local Iceland, so I've written a list of things I need.

Just doing a pizza for dinner.

I am SO tired! I just couldn't get to sleep and eventually, after 4 came downstairs and slept on the sofa. I've had less than 3 hours. I will need matchsticks!
I am taking GS1 to school this morning, then my library duty at 10. I have a massage at 1.30 which I have been looking forward to. Then GS1 back from school. Early night tonight I think!

Sounds like you had better weather than us yesterday.
There is a awful lot of football at the moment isn’t there.
We have done the paintwork in the sitting room but not the walls and the main paper has been on about 7 years now so time for a change.

We going to Dunelm this morning to look at Curtains then popping in to see my niece see how she’s doing,
She managed to walk up and down the stairs yesterday unaided and without oxygen so a big step forward for her .

Got my curtains then onto niece’s
She is doing remarkably well, still not eating much but feeling stronger than she did yesterday.

She has a leak in the bathroom so waiting for emergency plumber to come , she was worried about any mess ,
I rang her Mam and she’s going after lunch so will sort it out ,

Warm here again, I have done some gardening, cutting back, the rain has made everything grow. I am now going to watch Andy Murray place tennis at Queens, would love to go there.

I'm glad your niece is slowly getting better Oma .

GS wouldn't go to school with me this morning. I obviously wasn't therefore picking him up from school on the way back from my massage. I told DD to let me know if he wanted to come over later and stay for tea as usual on Tuesday. I haven't heard anything so I'm presuming not.
My massage therapist is a miracle worker. Far more effective than any painkillers!

Oma,can you remember about a week ago,or maybe 2, we were talking about sliced potatoes.
You mentioned that you buy them in Iceland. Well i looked for some thing morning,but couldn't find any.
I did ask an assistant who was nearby about them, but she said they haven't had those.
Its a large store,so i thought if they had any it would be there.
Looks like i'll have to go and put some on my Asda order.

Washed a load of lights, they are out in the sunshine.

No plans for today as yet. Just the usual housework.

Jacket potatoes for dinner,hubby's request. Will serve with cheese, beans and coleslaw that needs using today.

Its a nice bright morning ,
I have follow up about my bloods at 11 , we will pop to Aldi first .
B wants to paint the iron railings by the front door today while it’s dry ,
Its only a small stretch so shouldn’t take long.

A day out for us today And the weather is fine.
You may remember the money we won at the casino on our weekend away over Easter? We didn't share the winnings out between the two couples, but decided to use it on a day out.
So today we are going to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, over near Doncaster. There was enough to pay for all four admission tickets and a bit left to go towards lunch!
I am quite sore from the deep tissue massage which is normal when she has to work so hard to release it. I will take it easy and rest when I need to.
No rain forecast so we will get a washload on the line before we go out.
