Sun shining this morning, not sure what I am going to do, I really need to do some gardening but producing more rubbish to get rid of is a bit of a headache atm. I think my sunroom roof is leaking, found a wet patch on the glass topped table, will check it today, if so that is another job to be done, SIL is a patcher- upper so will get someone to completely re- roof it this time as winter (sorry) is approaching, I don't want the wood to rot. I hope Daisy is getting some of this sunshine as the next couple of days the forecast is dire. Have a good day, hope the sun is shining on you too.

OH gone to motor garage with some documents for selling our car, so will attempt my bathrooms although my heart isn't in it, but going out for tea just a local Toby but we will enjoy it 👍🏻
There is always maintenance to do on property we have been without a loo since we got back off hols ordered a new cistern should have been here on Monday luckily we have another otherwise we would have an en suite in the garage aka a bucket

Morning all.

After a bad night with this sore mouth of mine I got up this morning to discover that my lips are even bigger , they had swollen so much I couldn't speak properly so off to the Drs I went , I thought this needs more than a dentist looking at it. On my way there my chin and neck started to itch , I had big red blotches running from my mouth to my neck . I looked a sight. The Dr has given me some steroids to take, antihistamine tablets and a mouth wash. Apparently inside my mouth is red and I have lots of little ulcers around the mouth. Feeling rather flu like at the moment but its not helped that OH keeps singing Rolling Stones songs at me and he keeps calling me Mick !

Went to MIL's this morning , AS soon as we walked in she said to B Oh that looks horrible I hope you not walking around without long sleeves looking that scabby Thanks MIL he's self conscious enough about it , so he said no Mam ive just taken my jacket off in the car as its hot , he looked so crest fallen I wanted to shout at her

DD ordered a Guitar for GS1 13th birthday on Sunday took day off as it was to be delivered between 8 and 5 , got a phone call to say its been rerouted somewhere else and they not sure where or when it will arrive , so she wasn't having any of that and told them she was going to the shop to collect one so B has taken her as its difficult where the shop is to get parked up , £400 for a guitar then extra £25 for quick next day delivery and they now have no idea where it is , shocking . Chap said well I don't know if we can do that as its on its way , DD said that's not my problem I paid extra took time off work so I want one today have it ready when I get there , shes furious with them .

I felt the same when ours went to nursery and school Qwerty, and your heart hurts when you hear they have cried but I bet within minutes she stopped and enjoyed her day

Aww, they will adjust Qwerty, I'm sure. GS2, who has never had a problem being left anywhere has cried each time DD leaves him at nursery since they came back from their holidays. He is fine, and nursery have texted her photos when DD is still in the car park , showing him happy, smiley and playing!!

Oma, poor B I know how sensitive he is about it, and you should be able to be yourself around family. As you say, you both know what to expect from her.

Nice easy couple of hours looking after GS2 and GD, always easier at their house!
