Oma I hope DS is okay. How lucky he had just dropped GD off. It would have been frightening for her. Hope B was able to offer good advice re insurance but what an inconvenience.

We went to "oldies"cinema this morning. The film was "Going in Style" about 3 pensioners who rob a bank.Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. in it. An easy,light film to watch and we enjoyed it.

He's fine Clover thank you , said his chest has a bruise from the seat belt and its sore to touch but hes ok , just as well he had one on , insurance sorting everything.
Van admitted liability said he wasn't watching DS car but the other traffic and there were witnesses so couldn't really deny it .No one killed or seriously hurt , a car can be replaced or repaired cant it .

Such a relief for S & you Gem. I really wish that everything was over & done with for B Oma. He's such a strong man to keep on going & going.

I was a bit miffed at my heart consultant today. I'm not sure why medical people don't make decisions anymore. I know they give you choices now but I'm not medically trained. Him...'Do you want to try different tablets or have an operation?' (How the heck do I know what's best?) Me...'what would you do in my situation?' Ha gotcha!

Oma I'm pleased that it wasn't any worse for your son. Someone crashed into my brother's car not long ago but he couldn't prove it was his fault...he even got out & was really abusive to my brother. My brother lost out of course.

Change my present medication to stop an iregular heartbeat Plant. He did this but I have to go back in another 6mth for a follow-up.

Nana I had a similar experience several years ago when I had to call a doctor out to visit my dad who was very unwell at the time , she examined him and then turned to me and asked, 'What do you think is wrong with him "
I answered that it was her that had been to collage, university and several years training alongside other doctors so wouldn't she be better qualified to make a diagnosis!

Horribly rainy here.
A social day for me today One of OH's golf buddies is coming over for coffee this morning. Then I have to leave them to go to a friends for lunch and a catch up. This evening a group of us are going out for a meal to celebrate a friends birthday.

I had episodes of atrial fibrulation Nana, won't go into detail on here but I was taking Amiodarone and when I was referred to a heart specialist to check why I was having so many falls he changed my medication as it was affecting my thyroid and has now put me on Dronedarone which I can only get from the hospital and they have inserted a reveal device in my chest. Touch wood I feel so much better.

Good morning ladies , Sun is out off to pick dog up soon , ive been productive this morning , did my housework , then dyed my hair and while I was waiting for that to work I ironed the clean bedding ready to go on later , its hanging on the landing bannister at the moment ,
Sat ages last night painting my nails not easy with hands that shake , got up this morning and managed to break two finger nails opening the Marmalade , so have to file them down take nail polish off and start again

Have a good day ladies at least whatever you do has to be better day than all those poor people caught up in the storms around the world xxx

Indeed Oma it's terrible such beautiful islands destroyed glad I haven't booked for there in November we did consider it but too long a flight
You must have some patience I would have called painting nails a day
i can't remember a quiter week housework that's all apart from tea once this week and food shopping a ten min job he said to change cistern is now into its 2nd day owing to a leak 🙄 Bored bored bored
