      Graunty....hello...goodbye😂

Had a lovely day today. OH drove to Edale & surrounding areas. Passed the Blue John Mine, Chapel on le Frith, (or something like it)Bakewell etc. Ended up having a late lunch at Buxton. The day weatherwise was just right & the countryside was actually shades of green.

Time I started to think what I'm going to make for the 3 entries for the Open Art Exhibition 2018. Need to get a move on as they have to be handed in in Sept.

Yes, safe journey Libra, I am sure they will be pleased to see you.

I presume the tripe is for Storm Oma, not your GS.

Nana, that does sound like a lovely day out, I have a silver and blue john necklace, love that area. Let us know what you decide to make for the exhibition.

Fed up, I have a head cold, where have I got that from? I wanted to go to the tip today, see how I feel later. At least the sun is shinning and not too hot to sit in the sun lounge.

Good morning everyone, and Happy Yorkshire Day to Yorkshire Lasses

Daisy, we get those days sometimes, don't we, when bedtime can't come fast enough!?
                What a nice day, Nana
I hope your neck is OK soon Nan2, you need OH to massage it!
Oma, my DD2 had hair like that, it was a devil to keep knot and tangle free, although very pretty.
Poor Plant, rest and feel better soon. Tip another day I would think. It's a shame there is no tennis for you to watch on TV.
                Safe journey to Libra.

Yesterday was lovely. Our friends meet at our house as it is on their way, and there is always some swapping of grandchildren travelling in different cars. When we get back they always all pile into our house when we get back. Our friends GDs start asking if they will be doing that from the morning onwards!! Tea and coffee for the adults, the kids do their own thing - up and down stairs. Chaos for while ) In the evening when everyone had gone we had a snack meal and relaxed. Me with my Rhubarb gin and ginger ale, and OH with a whiskey. Not exhausted, just pleasantly tired. I will write in my journal and the seaside thread later.

Today my mum and I were due to go to DD1's for lunch. One of DD's friends suddenly has something serious going on (I may write about it in YEO at some point) and DD is needed there, overnight last night and today, so we will reschedule our visit. Mum was very understanding about the cancellation. This mean OH and I have free day together, a rarity in the summer!

                Have a good day everyone.

Rain again overnight but at least the grass is looking greener. Off to the Heart Club gym soon, it would be very easy not to go but it will do us good 🙂. Have done much in the way of exercise for the last couple of weeks, feeling very stiff.

Sun is shining now and I have all,the bedding on the line so feel very virtuous, I certainly feel more like doing things when it’s cooler.

                    Hello everyone.

Just popping in quickly, as I need to get on with sorting some of the garden out before Saturday. I woke at 5.30 this morning - wide awake and ready to go. So I got up, did the watering, washed a load of glasses ready for the party, Washed 3 lots of bedding, took car to garage to have something expensive done to it, stopped off at the paddock on the way back to give Eva a good run - and it was still only 9.30!!!!

I'll be back later, but really need to get some garden jobs done while I've got OH around to help me.

                    xx

We did the gardening this morning. looks so much tidier.

Checked some vouchers i had in my purse, 2x£5 ones for Morrisons, that expired tomorrow.
Hubby needed to fill the petrol can for the mower,so we went to Morrisons.
I didn't want to lose out on £10.

Good grief Daisy, have you been having lessons from Oma??
I don't blame you using those tokens Nan2. I hate it when you get there and find out they have expired!

We bought some new curtains for the bedroom from Dunelm, and had lunch in their cafe. Browsed Home Bargains, got a few things in Aldi, popped into the big Sainsbury's for some white socks for OH for golf, and new knickers for my mum! I picked up Mums prescription and audio books too, so a productive day.

I am going out with the 2 friends I used to work with tonight. They are both to become Grandmas this year, so at last catching me up! Sadly one of them is the mum of my reflexologist who is expecting the poorly baby. Our other friend has just found out she will have a baby granddaughter. She has 2 sons and always wanted a daughter, so that must be lovely for her.

I’m not ignoring you all ladies honestly. It’s been a tough couple of days but nothing compared to a lot of our ladies here so I am not complaining.

I had a busy day today, I cleaned the windows, cooked lunch and then strolled to the vets to pick up the cat’s next three months worth of flea and worm treatment. (Its non stop glam here ) .When I got back OH was cutting the hedge so I felt obliged to help him .... all in all that whole process took 3 hours. I am now completely exhausted.

Hope everyone is well I will try and catch up later with all the going’s on’s
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

We stopped at Lacock, then near Dorchester, onto Charmouth and finally Lyme Regis, a very pleasant week away.
