Oma - glad B got his top up today, after last week's mix up.

Enfys, you just have to play each day by ear, don't you. I'm glad P was up to a bit of gardening today. We had a bit of rain this morning, but just a shower. But it's been much, much cooler - verging on chilly for me.

It's been a busy but lovely day with both the girls - in term time I don't see much of GD1, so it was lovely today. But I'm always tired by the end of the day and I need an early night tonight to catch up ready for tomorrow.

I have read all your posts, but please excuse me for not commenting on all of them - I hope the weather is kind to us all tomorrow. Night, night. x

Work for me me this morning. My “lady” is having a new boiler fitted today so it could be a bit chaotic!

Good morning, It looks like it rained again overnight but we have blue skies and sunshine now. Hope it stays a bit cooler though. I am off out this morning meeting a friend for coffee and chat. Haven’t seen her for about a month so we have a lot of catching up to do.

Apparently I am kitten minding today, I was woken by him on my bed, well it was 9am. DD has gone to Lymington to stay with a friend for a couple of days, the other must be at work. Someone, presumably my GD1 had opened my door so he could come through. He is still very playful, growing fast, he has now been done and micro chipped, so not quite so worried about letting him out. Not sure what we are expecting the weather to do today, I have to go to Hobbycraft nearby to get some sewing bits and a small job to do in the garden.

Hope the boiler change doesn't cause you too much work Clover.

Been to Bank , the Bakers and Sainsburys ,
Plant a playful kitty is a nice way to wake though isn't it

It has got very, very warm here, sorted out a few pots in the garden with the help of the kitten. I am going to make a banana cake in the bread maker as I have two spotty bananas, very popular with the family including GGS.

A few times today,it's looked like it was going to rain, but the dark clouds kept passing over.

Just winding down after a busy day. The girls had a day of squabbles (usually they get on fine) and Cooper was behaving as though he hadn't been fed this morning. He gets very silly when he's hungry, and the nose butts the freezer door where the dog treats are kept. Then I've spent most of the evening discussing GS1's party on Saturday. Now I'm more than ready for bed.

Avo - where did your Doreset adventure take you? We love the Jurassic coast, and for us it's ideal for a few days' break.

Nanto - I hope your neck and shoulders are feeling ok now. xx
