    Good morning everyone.
I have just caught up on Chatbox, I will catch up with more posts later.
We got home around 11 am yesterday. Our flight was slightly delayed taking off as someone hadn't shown up for the flight, so their bag had to be found and removed from the hold.
We had a nap during the day, fish and chips for tea, Tesco man delivered our groceries, we caught up with some TV recordings then an early night. Although I was very tired I couldn't get to sleep! Still on US time I suppose.

Coming home to good and not so good news.
The terrible news about London being the worst
Also my beloved 18 year old cat had been poorly with what looks like cystitis. Out vigilant catsitters knew something was wrong and took her to the vet. She had treatment and I think she's ok, but have to keep an eye on her.
My radiotherapy has to be delayed. The planning scan I attended the day before my holiday showed that a lot of radiotherapy would hit my heart. So, I have to have Breath Hold treatment, and have to go on Monday for another planning scan, and a 40 minute breath holding coaching session first. Not looking forward to any of it. My treatments, due to begin this Tuesday will now begin on April 10th. I was hoping it would all be done with a couple of days after Easter, but will have to wait a while longer.
The good news to come home to was Plants baby GGS has arrived! Lovely news

Not too much washing to do as we had a washer and dryer in Florida so did it all. I need to go to the library then to my mums this afternoon, then another early night!

Keep well and happy everyone, and enjoy the sunshine

Good morning everyone. Lots of busy bees around today, so I an feeling rather lazy enjoying a relaxing cuppa while we decide what to do this afternoon. Yesterday was "interesting". We left just before 12, so not much later than OH's planned 9.30 departure! It poured with rain all day, and was blowing a gale here, near Weymouth, and biting cold. Just as we drove onto the site the clutch jammed on the car. Two clutch failures in around 2 weeks sn't funny. The AA freed it up again, but because he didn't know what had caused it he says it could occur again, so on Sunday when we've got to tow the van up a long steep hill it could go again! Hey ho.

Last night was wild, the van felt more like a boat on a choppy sea and the rain was torrential. Today is still very cold and grey, but hope things will improve. Still it's a lovely spot and we will go for a walk along the cliffs this afternoon.

Gem, I'm so glad you are home safely but really sorry that your radiotherapy has had to be delayed. Still, it's because the are making sure the treatment is safe, but the waiting is hard. I do hope your poorly kitty is ok. It's so worrying when you have elderly pets. Xx

Mimi, you really have got the decorating bug. I bet you caught it from Oma, the decorating queen. 😘

Clover, that sounds like a busy day.

Nanto, enjoy your fish and chips.

Hoping Oma's SIL is soon better.

Baby is fine, they have been waiting for most of the day to be discharged but they are on there way now. I was going to see them this afternoon but feel that by the time they get back they will need to settle him so I am waiting to see what they decide.

Sorry to hear the weather hasn't been kind to you yet Daisy, promise of a better weekend.

Hope you will soon be on UK time Gem, hope the cat improves.

Plant, I hope it is not too long until you get to cuddle that little baby. I know how impatient my mum was when my GC were born It will be lovely once you get to see and hold him

I think my cat is OK, I am watching her too much I think, looking for things!

Daisy, crossing my fingers for better weather for you!!

Mum was very pleased to see me. We had a good chat and I did some shopping for her, then we had tea and cake at hers with more chat

The sun finally made a rather shy appearance, but still windy. We drove out to west Bay and had a walk along the beach. Then on to Lyme Regis and I took a few photos, even though the light wasn't great, but I still enjoyed getting out with the camera, I've been neglecting it lately!

Had delicious fish and chips before driving back to the van. Typing this watching a tribute show to Chuck Berry and can't help typing to the rhythm!!

Plant so please baby is home.

Nanro, what a good productive day you had.

Gem glad your mum is ok. I hope kitty is,too, but your best guide is your instinct - you know her better than anyone

Good morning from a sunny south coast. Hope you get more cuddles with baby soon, Plant. The weather is looking good for the weekend Daisy, so you should get so e good photos. West Bay is lovely, it's where they film Broadchurch. Hope you are more rested now Gem, and that your little cat is OK. Have had a busy few days but nothing much planned for the weekend. DD, SIL and DGS are coming for a meal tomorrow for Mothers Day instead of going out somewhere. It's easier to have it here, they can bring the dog and we can all relax, have a drink and no-one has to drive. DGS is back from Uni, I had a frantic text from him yesterday worrying about getting something for Mothers Day, I knew the shops would be busy today and his Mum's around too. So I ended up popping out yesterday and bought a beautiful white orchid which I have hidden here. I will smuggle it over to him today so he can hide it in his bedroom. She will be surprised as he doesn't usually even remember things like that ! Typical teenage boy, but he was very grateful for the help, I think being away from home has been good for him 😊. I had a nice surprise yesterday, a lovely bouquet from DS in Oz. I haven't opened the card that came with it, will keep it for tomorrow. Lovely blue skies here at the moment, all the blossom is out and we have big fat buds on the wisteria. I love this time of year 🌾🌺🌷🌸

Enfys grandmas just have to do it, at least he remembered what day it was.

Heard yesterday GGS is named Elliot (is that one t or two). DD helped GS tidy up the nursery as things had just got dumped when they got back, fetched them some food from M&S, so we left them tidy and fed including the little one. Hope they had a good night.

Morning ladies the sun is shining and after walking the dog I plan to pot on my bizzy lizzies. Just waiting for DD to drop off the guinea pigs as I got roped into looking after them, they are off to Warner studios and Thorpe Park this weekend. Plant glad you got your cuddle with GGC, I hope the new parents didn't lose to much sleep. Have a great weekend all, the sunshine certainly lifts my spirits. Do hope it has arrived in Weymouth for Daisy and her OH. Poor shiloh is sulking because Dads gone up the garden without him.

                                Hi everyone.
Lovely and sunny here. We have got the bedding from the guest bed out, and the bedding we changed from our bed just before we went away will go out too and it will dry, so that's lucky!

Not sure if we had frost here Nan2.

Elliot is a nice name Plant. My baby GS was almost named that. He will soon grow, it's amazing how quickly those tiny babies do grow!

Enjoy the gardening Mimi and Mr Mimi.

Daisy, I hope you are having a lovely break.

6 hours is quite a good amount of sleep for you Oma, isn't it?!

Enfys, how lovey that you got a Mothers Day bouquet from Australia You are good Grandma to help GS out like that!

I'm sure Shiloh was pleased when his dad came back in Libra

It was 12 by the time I got up, so had more of a lunch than breakfast
Feeling less tired today and nothing much to do apart from unpacking. A friend is calling in to see us soon.
