Oh poor Oma, glad to hear you are starting to feel better.
Clover we loved those senior cinema mornings, a great bargain! Sadly they stopped doing them at our cinema.

Well we are not long back from our lunch! The friends persuaded me that we would still be ready to go on holiday if I didn't rush back to do things. We went back to their house for coffee and more chats. We came home and changed the bedding on our bed, now to catch up online a little. Rain and more rain today after a nice start this morning.

Went with DD2, GS2, GD & OH to Yorkshire Wildlife Park today. Absolutely lashed it down. We saw 2 ducks in one of the big puddles & a giraffe poked its head out. 😂 Came home & I instantly fell asleep in the chair. Hahaha.

Nana, it never stopped raining yesterday. We are about ½ hours drive from the wildlife park.
        Rain stopped now though.
Gem, your afternoon out yesterday sounds good.
Oma, hoped you slept better last night.

Morning all. I'm thinking about Daisy/family too. So sad when a pet dies. Good luck at the hospital Oma. I bet your car could get you there without a driver, the number of times you've been😄

Everything went great another tablet stopped ,
We were a bit worried this morning as a lump had appeared in his groin so we were dreading what they said , but Professor Jackson examined him and found he had popped a previously repaired Hernia, He got him to stand up cough and as he coughed he pushed it back in place , it will need another repair at some point but said there is no rush its small and he can just push it back in if it pops again I had been so tense I came out very happy but with a headache
Enfys I must spend some time sorting my family history paper work out , I haven't done any since B was diagnosed ,and have delved into it at times to find stuff when family have asked questions then just been put back in files any old way , I must make a effort

I have been thinking of Daisy, her DS and family too. Fellow pet owners understand how sad it is.

Phew Oma, thank goodness it was a hernia, I can imagine how worried you both were!

Nana, I love Yorkshire wildlife Park, what a pity it was so wet for you though!

I had an 8.30 appointment at Leeds hospital radiotherapy department this morning so it was an early start for us to get there in time. All went quite quickly and we had time for a coffee and bacon sandwich in the hospital café before heading back to pick up GS1 from preschool.
                  He is watching Aladdin now
Mr Tesco is coming this afternoon with lots of cat food and some wine and other things for the cat sitters.

                      Good afternoon all
Oma that must have been a huge relief for you and B. Who'd have thought a cough could ease your worries like that.
Gem, you must now go and enjoy your holiday. Remember...worrying is not allowed

Its my GD's 13th birthday today. We saw her yesterday as its school for her today, she is growing into quite a young lady. We have seen a huge change in her over the last few months.
Second youngest GS's has gone with chicken pox, we are hoping his baby brother doesn't catch it as its his christening in two weeks time

I have been busy in the garden this morning and later this afternoon I have an appointment at the hairdresser for a light trim. I have purposely keep myself busy today because although its GD's birthday its also 49 years ago today my sister died. If I keep busy maybe I won't dwell on it .
Have a lovely day everyone x
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

A bittersweet day Mimi. However long ago we lost our loved ones we think of them often and anniversaries are especially difficult. Keeping busy is a good idea but don't wear yourself out.
I hope your GD has a lovely birthday. Once they hit the teenage years they change rapidly. My GD is nearly 15 and wow is she different to her primary school years.
I hope your GS isn't too poorly with the chicken pox and it would be a shame if baby caught it this time round.

Just been for a walk, some of it in rain and some in sun.

Oma we had a similar thing with Ben when he was a baby and had a hernia. I remember being so angry at "Him upstairs" and ranting for England saying about how could He give a baby a hernia when he already had so many serious health problems and why didn't He pick on someone else or give it to someone who has had a chance to be horrid. Then when his Oesophagus problem happened I ranted all over again!! At least that particular problem has been solved, we think. He is due another open heart but the surgeons are saying that as he is ten now and it is not immediately life threatening they want to hold on. If they do it now or soon they will have to break his chest open which will incapacitate him for a long time, they are waiting for an experimental keyhole surgery to be proven (or disproved). In the meantime he is full of beans.
