Good morning.
Oh, poor Oma and Nan2, you must be exhaustedTry to rest today.
GS1 day for me. Instead of bringing him here after preschool and DD collecting him from work, I will take him to their house. DD is in London all day, back late. SIL is notorious for working late and rarely sees GS before bed. I am not up for bedtime routine just yet, I'm not doing it. I have said I want to be away by 6. I hope he will be back on time. If he's late Im afraid he will find he will have his son to put to bed. I'm not doing it. Grandma has spoken“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning ladies.
Oma and Nanto - you must both feel exhausted with no sleep. Take it as easy as you can today. Oma - I hope everything goes well at the hospital. B is doing so well. xx
Nanto - I like your weather barometer - you could get the lid off the bin!
Gem - good for you, saying 'no' and standing your ground. I'm quite sure you're not fit yet to do the bedtime battle with GS1, so I hope SIL is back in time. Even if you don't put GS to bed, by 6 o'clock they're getting cranky and into the "no, no, NO" zone.
My usual Monday routine for me - pick GD2 up from playgroup and hopefully GD1 being delivered at 3.30. I don't usually have to pick her up from school, for which I'm very grateful. But it's not raining here this morning, so I'm going to take Eva out first. Have a good day everyone.

I didn't sleep well last night. I started coughing which of course hurt my ribs and after I took come cough medicine and pain killers I just could not get back to sleep. I am about to go on an hour long Skype conference (deep joy), tomorrow I have to be in town at an awards ceremony. I am getting an award and there are others who I am looking after as the organiser is at her grandmother's funeral and everyone else comes from different areas.....If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

A lovely mild morning here, the rain has passed and the sun make a weak attempt at trying to shine. On the walk I had to unzip my coat is was so mild. Beef casserole in the slow cooker and home made rice pud for afters, the boys will finish of all the last fancy bits later and will be fed. Looking forward to getting back to normality, off to look at carpets with hubby in a while. And some nice storage. Sorry for those who do not sleep well, I am blessed I can sleep on a clothes line. Well done to B, so pleased for him.
Oooo won't be long now Nana, hope all goes well.
Don't know where today has gone.Didn't get while 12 from in laws.
We had something to eat, tidied pots away, then went to our friends.E has got an appointment tomorrow at the Hallamshire.
Next stage for her is her reconstruction.
She has made us a lovely card for Dads 90th birthday. Will post a picture tomorrow.
E wanted a cake for her hubby's 60th birthday, so we called to see our cakemaker, and got that ordered.
Ordered Dads 90th cake last week.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
