Good morning to you too Oma, and everyone else!

Not too much to do today Oma. Take my mum shopping and driving us both to see my sister, but nothing much else, apart from some online stuff
I hope your OH is OK, will someone drive you to see him each day, or is it accessible by public transport? I wish we were close enough to help out!

Good morning from a bright and sunny Bournemouth. Hope you had a good nights sleep Oma.

Thank you Daisy, had a very nice time with my friend yesterday. Had a good catch up and even fitted in some retail therapy. DH and I are out to lunch today and might even do some Ch..........s shopping. It's nearly December so I don't feel too guilty . Have a good day everyone.

Oma I hope today is a good one for you & B.

I'm pleased that everything is rolling along nicely for you all. If I remember rightly today Zizi & OH are due back today. Safe journey.🛩

Daisy I envy you girls who live close to the sea although I do love living in Bucks. I expect your OH will turn some lovely things from that apple tree.

I have some lovely big Bramley apples off our trees, hate apples to go to waste, so I intend to make some chutney today and some Mincemeat another day, the rest I will cook and freeze. No doubt they will appreciate a crumble next door.

Plant, I have apples to use too.
Mincemeat isn't on my list until Sunday of next week, but I should find time to make a crumble or 2 and some apple sauce before then

Didn't sleep as well as I would have liked I was up at 5
He had his first Chemo last night and his Brother starts his Donor injections today so they will have plenty of bone marrow to harvest , 5 days of that and the side effects can be chest pain like having a heart attack so I'm worried about him too
Gem my DD takes me and her in laws my dear friends ,they picking me up today at 12 to take me for a couple hours then dropping me off tomorrow and DS will bring me home as he works 5 minutes away from hospital , everyone has worked out between them who is taking me , his brother,s partner coming for me Sunday also he has marrow harvested Monday &Tuesday so picking me up on the way , everyone is being so kind xxx

Plant and Gem - yes, make good use of your apples. Our trees did very badly this year - neither of them are looking healthy, and OH has his beady eye on them, with chain saw in hand! It's lovely wood for turning apparently.

Oma - I'm sorry you didn't sleep well - you must be going through a roller coaster of mixed emotions. It's good news that B had his first chemo last night - they must be happy with all the blood tests etc. I'm sure his brother will be fine - they will take good care of him. It's wonderful that he's such a good match.

I'm losing it! I've just gone on to FB to send someone a message and glanced at an advert for JD Williams (clothes retailer?) which I read as being 'Bargains on Dog Biscuits' instead of bargains, big discounts!

Daisy unfortunately it is not sunny in Barbados - it is chucking it down like it did all day yesterday!! There is a story behind yesterday which I will post when I have time.

Nana - we leave today and get back at 6 in the morning. I detest night flights as I cannot sleep on planes at all consequently I am completely worn out by the end of the journey and it ruins the rest of the day. I might have to have a little sleep during the day.......

Daisy... 'Should have gone to Specsavers ' 😉

Oma , it's no wonder you didn't sleep, there is a lot to take on board isn't there and if you are on your own you have no choice but for it all to go round and round in your head.

At last my phone has been sorted out, a week sooner than I was first told.
I have been given a brand new phone as mine couldn't be repaired. The woman in the shop said the new phone I have been given was only released for general sale in September and it was the first time she had actually 'sold' one to a customer. It's slightly bigger than my last phone and the only other difference is I can unlock it with my finger print. Other than that it works basically the same.

Mimi - LOL! I obviously had dogs on the brain!! Pleased to hear you're on the phone again.

Zizi - wht a pity your last 2 days have been wet. I hope the journey home is ok.

Oma - what a wonderful family you and B have. How many injections does M have to have? I hope you get a bit more sleep tonight. xx

I had a lovely lunch out with old friends, but sadly the lady who organises us (and is the one who's a member of the golf club where we meet) was poorly, but we were still allowed in and the Restaurant manager looked after us very well. I got home just in time for us to take Eva for a run in the paddock before it got dark, but it was chilly in the stiff breeze. Time to get the thermals out!

Tomorrow we're off up to DS1's for OH to finish the last few bits of the DIY project he's been helping with.
