Good morning everyone.
Oma, thinking of you and OH today, and hoping all goes smoothly.
Nana, a trip to the doctors for you is a very good idea. You can't go on like this!
I am meeting DD2 and baby for coffee this morning. This afternoon collecting my mum's oldest friend and dropping her at mum's. I will then do mums shopping, go back and spend a bit of time with them both, then drive the friend home .In to town for 6pm for a meal, then we are going to see Blood Brothers, a musical OH has never seen, so I had to rectify that!

A long day for you both Oma, hope everything goes well for B, Nana see the Doctor you have been told not long now ZIZI and you will have sunshine and be able to forget work kitchens etc for a week at least. Girly day for me, the weather is gloomy but dry, I have just put on a second load of washing for eldest DD. Will be at least another week or possibly more before she has a kitchen again.
Zizi - fo curse you need some poetic licence when you're holiday shopping! I think it's great staying in a hotel the night before a long flight. We always do that or get a taxi to the airport so we don't have the hassle. Your comment about the rain made me smile. I love rain in the Caribbean and, yes, the locals think we're nuts. I hope you get compensation from the kitchen company after all they put you through. Look forward to seeing the photos.
Nana - poor you. I hope the doctor can give you something for that cough - it sounds really painful. My DS2 had an umbilical hernia last year and I can remember him saying coughing made it worse. Touch wood, since the op, it's been ok. <crossing fingers as well>
Oma - it is going to be a long day, but it's another step closer to the transplant so it will be well worth it. Hoping and praying everything goes smoothly - you've both waited so long for this.
It's a bright sunny day here, and I'm having lunch with a friend. Sadly, our other friend can't join us. She's been in and out of remission from cancer for years, but things aren't so good at the moment and she's having some specialist treatment today. She's an incredibly brave lady and we are hoping and praying that this treatment will give her more time with us ....
OH is due back from DS1's late tonight (he's been there since Saturday doing DIY for them) and we're going back up there on Sunday. I'm having the GDs on Saturday - DS2 and DIL are very busy at work (it seems a lot of people start preparing for Christmas in November!!) and they need to go into the shop and try and catch up. They don't usually open on Saturdays, but I bet people will notice they're there this week-end.

Well we home , what a long day !!! Must have been to every department in the Hospital and all seemed miles away from each other , the place is huge , seen 3 Dr's ,Transplant coordinator , specialist nurse at both Hospitals , Xray , ECG, Breathing tests , dozens of bloods and swabs from both Hospitals , now we have to keep our fingers crossed that nothing pops up before the 23rd ,
I hope I sleep tonight I'm out on my feet now 😊
Oma - what a marathon - but great that they are so meticulous in making sure everything is right for the transplant. You don't realise how much preparation what goes into something like that. I'm sure you're both shattered. I hope you're both now snuggled down in your lovely comfy bed and getting your beauty sleep.
I had a lovely time lunching with my friend today, but missed the other member of our Gang of 3.

Oma I'm really pleased that everything went well for B. You're such a courageous couple.Jean I'm sorry your friend wasn't able to join you. Enfys, my aim was to get Christmas decs out too this weekend. Like you, I need to check them out. They won't be going up for a while yet tho'.
I went to Drs. He's given me a stronger antibio' & I was told to hold a cushion against the swelling when I cough. He wants to sort out my chest infection first. Anyway I'm not going to grumble as my stuff is small compared to others on here.

Nanto - thank you for the beautiful reminder that today is the eleventh day of the eleventh month, as we pause in our busy lives to remember the sacrifice made by so many.

Oma, I bet you are both glad to have quiet day after all that was going on yesterday.
Nana, hopefully these antibiotics will do the trick.
Early start for us today. Hairdresser here at 9, baby GS here at 9.30! He has only had a short nap this morning. OH is here today, so at least if he needs a longer nap this afternoon I won't need to wake him to take him with me when I collect GD.
I love all the poppy pictures you have posted for Remembrance Day.
