Morning ladies I feel extremely poorly today think my cold is peaking very uncomfortably night , went from boiling hot to shivering , painful ears and sore throat and splitting headache , so feeling very sorry for myself . OH gone for his weekly Hospital visit himself . Apart from not feeling up to it I don't want to pass my germs on to poorly people . I had so many things planned to do today but can hardly drag myself to the loo never mind go out I think a little nap is beckoning.

I called in here to let you all know I am still alive!
I succumbed to the bug going round the family. Started with diarrhoea at 2am, was sick at 10 to 4,and it has gone on ever since. I am still in bed and have slept most of the day. The rest of them say it was a 1 day thing, so hoping to feel lots better tomorrow

Raining here this morning, but it meant I could clean the windows.Won't attempt them when sun is shining.
Ironing done.
Cleaned the drawer and door seal on the washing machine, and all the inside and outside.
Hairdresser coming around 2ish.

Its an overcast day here today and rather chilly.

DS is here for lunch later today. He seems to have settled well into his new home. Just hope he keeps thinking positive and he doesn't get depressed again. It's a constant battle for him .
Looking forward to a quiet weekend as the last three weekends we have had a flat full , I'm not complaining mind you ,but oh, the peace and quiet is lovely.

Morning ladies still feel unwell , up during night with chest pains from all the coughing my throat feels raw and OH has burst a blood vessel in his eye coughing , we look a right pair . His head cold gone but cough lingering but that's not unusual for him sometimes it takes months to go. Had a shower this morning but felt quite faint so hair didn't get a proper wash , I won't be entering any beauty contests today so no worries 😊 Glad your feeling better Gem fingers crossed it's stopped at you and S doesn't get it .

Take good care of yourselves, Oma. When I had that bug, I coughed so much my muscles were really painful for a couple of days. You will get there, just look after yourselves and don't do anything you don't have to xx
