had a good nights sleep although I still had to sleep propped up but the dizzyness seems to have mostly gone now, thank goodness. Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning everyone. It's a sunny start to the new week here, but a bit chilly.

I'm putting things away this morning after the caravan trip - didn't have time yesterday with being out all day, and too tired when we got home. I drove OH's new car up to DS2's yesterday - my first longish journey with it. It was fine until we got off the M27 on the way home! I was very tired by then, it was dark and very busy and I got totally confused by having 6 gears. Do cars really need that many! OH sat quietly though - with his eyes closed!!!

Take care all you poorly ones. Don't overdo it just because you're feeling a bit better. xx

Plant - it sounds like a fun evening and I'm sure you enjoyed every minute.

Morning ladies feel so much better today , dizziness like ENFYS is going cough still there buy I did get to sleep for 6 hours last night , feel so much brighter today , got another BP check this morning at 10 ,it's wet and sunny so I'm putting my winter coat on to go to Dr,s taking no chances . Well I'm back despite my meds BP still high so got to see Dr on Wednesday morning 10 am then flu jabs Wednesday afternoon 2.50 pm so may just move in for the day incase they find something else they want to Jab me with or make me take 😕😊

Still in bed. Could have given Oma a run for her money last night in the seal barking stakes. Not one to normally wish time on, but roll on a couple of days time when this blasted cough's gone & I'm able to 'get cracking' again.

Pleased you're all getting better. Sounds like some of you have had busy & enjoyable weekends. Daisy just be thankful OH wasn't in the driving seat with his eyes closed.🙈

Oma, I,m still trying to get my bp down. On stronger meds now and they don't help with the dizzyness, if it's not one thing it's another
still, could be worse.

I take two lots Enfys have done for years and it's been ok now the nurse thinks I need, something else . I can remember a time I wouldn't even take a headache tablet , now it's like a sweet shop in my medicine cupboard 😲
Nana the cough is so irritating isn't it , I'm even sick of hearing myself never mind poor hubby 😊

Afternoon all.
hope our poorly ladies are feeling better today.
Its a nice sunny day here, even if it is a little cold in the shade.I would have been doing jury service this week and next week but I had a phone call last week to inform me that they had more than enough jurors and so I wasn't needed. I can't say I was sorry. I wasn't looking forward to it.
I had a phone call late yesterday evening from DIL she had spent most of Sunday evening in A and E with GD. Apparently GD was spending the weekend with her friend as an effort to cheer her up as she wasn't chosen for the county netball team . All was going well until they went with her friend's mum to see the horse they own . GD was stood at the back of the horse when it stepped back on trod on her foot ! GD said the paid was horrible and it took all her strength to push it off.
Luckily DIL turned up with in a minute of that happening so she was able to take her to A and E . GD has broken her toe and for now it has been strapped up and she has to go to the fracture clinic tomorrow where she may be given a 'boot' to wear and some crutches so that she can at least go to school . At the moment she isn't able to walk without help, poor love.

Being ill and coughing a lot won't have done your BP any good Oma, possibly it may not be so high once you're better.

GS and I went out for lunch and he was so well behaved ( which certainly isn't a Given with him! ) DD will be happy when I tell her.
