    Morning ladies, change of routine today as girls staying here for dinner today instead of tomorrow. Parents evening so we thought swop around and I can bath them and get them into pjs ready to be collected. M was at A &E for 4 hours last night she complained of a painful wrist when I collected her from school somehow trapped her arm getting her school bag out of the rack. In temporary support and goes back to see a Consultant next week. Naughty Gran wasn't overly sympathetic although I did strap it up for her, but M can be a drama queen . At school as they were told she can write with it as it's strapped up, and as DD said you know kids she'll wear it like a trophy .

      Morning ladies been for some shopping and to get lunch for SIL he managed to crack two ribs last night playing football so in lots of pain this morning , No way will he be lifting carpets for a while ,made him a flask of tea and bought some steak bakes for his lunch DD coming home at 2 so don't have dog or GS 1 today at all . It's a lovely fresh morning , enjoy your day ladies xxx

        I hope the two injured people will soon feel better. Sharing lunch for me today at our local WI. Lunch with my ex-guiders tomorrow. Why does everything come in one week then nothing the week after.

            Good morning, Nanto and everyone.

            Oma - poor SIL, that sounds painful.

            LG - I hope M's arm is ok.

            I'm meeting up with friends from college for coffee and lunch today. Usually there's just 3 of us but today there should be quite a crowd, so it will be great to catch up with everyone.

            I did manage to get the lawn cut yesterday, but it had rained a bit in the afternoon, so it was too wet for a proper Grade 1! We're away most of the week-end and it's half term next week so goodness knows when I'll have time to do it again.

              Morning ladies , our usual Thursday Hospital then I'm going to The Range see what catches my eye and to visit MIL , wet and dull but no wind ,
              Libra hope M is ok still
              Daisy enjoy your time away you may not get anymore this year before the real bad weather sets in .

                Morning all its a girly day for me, but half term next week so a reprieve for a week. Usual morning routine, shower,housework,dog walking. Oma hope Storm isn't to sore.

                  Good morning all.
                  Time to catch up with all of you after my busy day yesterday. All went smoothly, and we had a fun evening with our friends.

                  Bit of a tense moment yesterday when GDs school phoned me at 3.30. No one had collected GD at 3.15 and she told them it should be me. I said no, I was collecting on Friday this week. Pictures of DD and baby dead or injured filled my mind. Fortunately all was OK, except SIL was on duty, but was just shopping with baby in Homebase, oblivious of the time. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes for the next few days!

                  Meeting for me and my mum this afternoon regarding my sisters future living arrangements. Then usual shopping for mum.

                  I hope the injured ones soon recover.

                    He's doing great Libra just hates the cone collar but has to keep it on as he's trying to get the bandages off his legs where they took his Dew claws off , it's funny when he does have the collar off he keeps looking under his back legs , DD said he knows something is missing but not sure what hahaha , he has his post op check today xx

                      DD just rang could I take some pain killers to SIL before we go to hospital she said he's feeling the pain today , sneezed during the night forgetting about his ribs (ouch) so very sore today .

                        Oma, my then husband once broke 3 ribs tearing up a T shirt to make dusters! !! He said it was very painful for a few days ( It took a long time for everyone to stop being amused at how he did it )

                          Hahaha it's so easy done OH once a long time ago did it sneezing , MIL did it some weeks back just putting bottom sheet on the bed , mind you she is 82 and her bones are getting frail , but just goes to show how easy it is to break them

                            Hope the poorlies are feeling better.
                            Been a busy day, MIL wanted all her clothes sorting for keeping and for the charity shop. So all the drawers and wardrobes have had a good clean.
                            She made sure I knew which dress she wants putting on when she leaves us. I think you will know what I mean.

                              We have downstairs neighbour coming for dinner tonight. Her stepdaughter had a son on Sunday and she is delighted. She isn't still with her former partner but sees the granddaughter and afei daughter often, I have fizz in the fridge, we are having a starter if strawberries, red onion, avocado and vinaigrette followed by slag bog (that is what she wanted), and a Lemon roulade. I was going to do vanilla ice cream, olive oil and salt but I don't think that will be to her taste. Try it, it is surprisingly tasty. Tomorrow I am in town at a meeting, do not want to be but there you are.
