The sun's struggling to put in an appearance, but we've had heavy rain overnight again!

I'm going to take Eva for a good run in 'her' paddock before picking GD2 up from playgroup. Yet another busy week ahead - it would be nice if the world stopped for a day or two! Does any one else feel like this?

Morning all. The rain was so heavy in the night I thought the window might break. Even woke OH and that's saying something. A watery sun is struggling to get through but I don't really trust it.
Off to town this a.m so I must brace myself not to get annoyed by all the C.......s displays.

Sunny but cool here. I think OH will have to wrap up warm for this mornings golf!
I have a few things to do, but an easy day. My week gets full and busy from Wednesday onwards, but starts in a more relaxed way this week! No GS from preschool today. I am having him for the full day on Wednesday instead.

Good morning all.
We have spent the first half of the morning tidying up the patio and generally up some of the leaves that have been blown over from next doors over grown/neglected wisteria .
I have moved our large bamboo plant to a sheltered part of the patio in an effort to keep it out of the wind. As we live on the top of a hill it gets so blowy here . Its not unknown for plant pots to be blown over and even the garden bench has been moved by the strong winds.
At the moment the sun is shining but I'm not holding my breath.
We had a busy weekend sorting out a lot of paper work, and now I had a big pile of old letters/ bills that need to be shredded.
How is everyone this morning . I hope you are all well.

Wet and dreary hear , it's that fine rain that seems to soak through without you realising , had a late night last night , didn't get back from a lovely lunch with family till 4.30 then OH,s nurse and boyfriend came at 6 just for a hour well that hour ended at 1am haven't laughed so much ,had a great night 😀
STORM is having his bits chopped off today and his Dew claws , had to be in for 8.30 haven't heard anything yet I'm sure he will be ok ,

Lovely and sunny here. Been to parents and done my chores. Going to have something to eat, then I will be cutting the grass,
while hubby does the patio and general tidying up.
It could be the last grass cutting for this year.

Hello everyone. Sun is shining but OH says it's chilly. I'm on the road to a marathon craft few days. I'm making 3 birth embroideries & knitting an elf ' for the shelf' thingy. Still feel rough but life goes on (thank goodness 😂). I got two out of three pieces of work accepted for my local Open Art Exhibition. Thrilled as the standard gets higher every year.

We have had several heavy rain showers! I had to dash out and bring the washing in. Then later I had to stay in the library chatting to the library ladies as it was too wet to dash to the car (I had gone without my coat ) The sun is shining now.

Oma, good new about Storm will he be wearing one of those elizabethan collar's ? Our cat wore one when she had her op. She looked thoroughly miserable when she wore hers but if we took it off her she wouldn't leave her stitches alone.



I have just spent the last 10 mins or so going through an old email address of mine that I use just as a 'junk' email address . There was an email there from 'BT' , in forming me that my there was a problem with my last payment and I need to get in touch with them within 24 hours to pay the outstanding amount or my phone line/internet will be cut off !!!

Well 3 and a half weeks on and I am still here, on line !
Another scam obviously .

Yes Gem, managed to get the grass done, then it rained. Went straight up in the shower and visitors came before I was quite ready.
Anyway, we had a good chat and put the world to rights.

Nana - well done on getting not one but two pieces of work accepted for the Exhibition. You must be very pleased, but don't overdo things if you're not 100%.

Oma - glad Storm is ok. There are alternatives to the 'lampshade' these days, if Storm really can't settle with it. He will also still be a bit woozy from the op, but by tomorrow he'll be full of energy again, I bet. I have a lovely mental picture of your DD staggering into the vets with a reluctant Storm.

Nanto - well done on getting the grass cut. I missed my change to do ours on Saturday and it's been too wet since. It's so long i full expect to lose the dog in it any day soon!

Mimi - you must be really pleased to get all that paper work shredded.
