it rained a lot last night, but this morning the sun is out and the sky is blue I have towels in the wash, so hope to at least start them off outside in the sunshine.
New client (friend of a friend) for me early evening. Lots of the housework type stuff first as I don't have much time the rest of the week.

It is DD1s wedding anniversary today. The day they married, 8 years ago, was as bright and sunny as today is!

          Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for your congratulations on getting my work accepted. I'll try to put up some pics. (I still struggle with putting pics on here). Oma, this awful bug is known to come back & bite you on the backside. I was coughing almost all night again. At least the sun is shining to cheer us. Well, up to now.x

As usual on Tuesdays, I've not had much chance to chat on here! It's been a beautiful day and even though I find autumn a bit depressing (next step is the dreaded winter) today was a day for getting out and enjoying it.

I took GD2 and their elderly doggy for a walk in the Forest. People who've never been here always think the forest is trees, but there are large areas of open heathland and boggy areas as well. Today we went to an area called Yew Tree bottom - lovely grassy valley with fabulous views. GD was looking for things of interest - first off was rabbit droppings! So we looked for rabbit holes but didn't find any, then we found mole hills and scraped areas of soft ground - badgers probably. She like the hawthorn berries and found a handsome toadstool (which sent me rushing for the hand wipes when we got back to the car)! We watched swallows (or swifts - I never know the difference) circling round, and aircraft going in to Bournemouth airport. We met lots of other dogs as well. It was very relaxed and good to be out on such a glorious day - just what I needed.

Gem - happy anniversary to your DD1 and her OH. I bet you are all looking forward to their week-end away!

Oma - We swept up leaves last week and it took just a few hours for us to be knee deep in them again! We've just bought a second hand leaf sucker upper or blower but haven't tried it yet!

Plant - how did the physio go?

Nana - I hope you get a better night tonight.

Physio was just to see what is needed, she was surprised at how good the movement was and she thought the pain was probably muscular, sent me home with a couple of exercises. Dr. Phoned me at 7.30 pm yesterday just to report the results of a couple of tests, she suspects it might be a sudden drop in blood pressure but she is still investigating other ways to find out what is happening. I like her very much but she is not my doctor really. I have a new doctor and he wants to see me on Friday, I am told he is very nice, I hope he will do my flu jab

                            Oma, hope you are well.
Off out for a meal tonight, it's our 48th anniversary today.

                              Good morning everyone.
Nan2, Happy Anniversary to you and hubby, enjoy your meal tonight

What a nice and busy day Daisy!

Busy one for me today. DD1 is off to London for the day for work, so I have GS instead of the usual Monday. No preschool today, instead II am meeting GS and SIL at the theatre at 10. GS and I are going to the drama group that GD and I went to on Wednesdays for a couple of years. GS goes with his mummy normally. Then back here on the bus for the rest of the day After giving GS his tea I will drive him home, and drive back as fast as possible, as we have friends coming round early evening. When it was planned, both OH and I were to be here. Now I have GS and she has a golf competition! Fortunately we are ordering a takeaway, no cooking!
                              Have a good day everyone

                                Good morning everyone.

Nanto - have a lovely day. xx

Gem - you are certainly going to have a busy day. I hope you have time to enjoy each part of it.

I'm off to the dentist this morning. Only the hygienist and she's very nice and always tells me I'm doing a good job with the flossing!!! It's a good tactic because it makes me feel guilty if I don't!

Then our usual dog training class. Eva has made a lot of progress this week, so I hope she shows off her new skills in class. I hope it stays dry all day so I can cut the grass when I get back - it's still growing and I haven't done it for nearly 3 weeks. I'll need a scythe not a lawn mower at this rate. LOL
