Nanto,,what an awful thing to happen.Poor woman. I hope it wasn't gloss paint!
The other day we were in Wilko and I saw a burst bag of bird seed all over the floor. No- one seemed to be doing anything so when I got to the check-out I told the cashier. She was very grateful and alerted a colleague to deal with it.Someone must have dropped it and obviously ignored it.It was getting spread all over the place and very slippy.

Oma.at least it's not a big problem for Brian though a nuisance just the same. It's great they are keeping such a thorough eye on him.

The same goes for your GS's partner Plant. I'm sure she'll be glad.to meet her new baby.

It's what only can be described as "murky" here today, overcast and misty.I was planning to plant sweet pea seeds in pots today but somehow haven't got round to it.

Daisy carpet will be another 2 weeks it's a new line so has to be ordered in , to be honest apart from the feel it looks no different from any other so not sure how it's a new line ?, SIL said it's guaranteed not to flatten maybe that's it ,
Anyway papering done and I love it 😊 just mirror to go up and fireplace to fix back to wall . Changes the room it looks warmer 😊

Oma, I don't know how you make the choices and be so positive, it take me ages to make decisions about decorating which is why my sitting room/dining room hasn't been decorated since we first moved into the annexe, can stand decorating myself and don't like the disruption. I also have large heavy furniture so not sure where to put it except into store.

Sorry Brian has to go to hospital when you thought you were having a free day.

They think the baby is about 6 lbs, I suppose that hadn't changed since her last visit. They couldn't decide where to book into but that decision has been made for them as she has to go to Stoke Mandeville our main hospital.

Plant a worrying time but they are erring on the side of caution it would seem, soon you will have a GGC to cuddle. Oma Im sorry poor B isn't getting a break from hospital visits, but better that they stay on top of the situation. Well I arrived home today at 2pm, quick shower, change, makke up etc and off to hubbys nephews wedding at the Riviera hotel in Alum Chine. Wedding was at 1pm but knew I wouldnt make that, hubby went on before. I am really jet lagged and managed to stay for 3 hours but then had to leave. Think it will all catch up me tomorrow. Hubby is a little squiffy but given the circumstances can be forgiven this rare event, which I prefer to explain on Yeo.

Plant 6lb isn't a bad weight , J stopped growing at 5lb he went down to 4,13 after he was born but was fine ,
Its taken me 13 years to finally put wallpaper up I have always just painted the main wall a different colour to the rest , its not a heavy pattern its quite plain but what I can live with

Clover, it was gloss paint, so that will be her clothes ruined.

Plant - all the way through DIL2's pregnancies they kept saying she was small for dates (well, of course she is, she's a natural size 6-8 and was never going to have 10 lb babies. She is so petite they had to get children's cuffs to take her BP). GD1 was 6lb 6oz and GD2 was 6lb 3 oz, both perfectly ok sizes, and healthy babies. When are they going to induce mum-to-be?

Friday Daisy, I know 6lb is a good weight, I can only presume it is slow putting on weight. I haven't spoken to the expectant couple my DD is in touch.

You seem to have got back quickly Libra, I know from your posts that you had a lovely time.

DD and SIL are away overnight at SIL's brothers house, watching rugby so DGD and I have shared a take-away curry and a bottle of bubbly

                    Good morning ladies.
Early doors for us this morning as we have to travel to Cardiff for GS's christening. Fingers crossed we don't have any rain.

Plant my eldest GS was just over 6lb in weight and you should see him now, he is taller than his mum and dad and still growing!

Hope you all have a great Sunday and I will catch up with you all later.

Oh dear Mimi bad timing indeed, poor little GS, chickenpox makes them so miserable. I think I am back in the land of the living almost, slept well until 7.30 this morning. Quiet day here GD's popping up later. I have missed roast potatoes, so definately on the menu today.

                              Good morning everyone.

Oh, Mimi, what a shame. But at least the spots didn't start to appear as the vicar held him over the font. Seriously, you must all be disappointed, and I know you were looking forward to it. I hope he isn't too poorly with it and you can fix another date for the Christening very soon.

It's dull but dry here. Yesterday our neighbours chopped down the last of their monstrous conifer trees and there is so much more light in our garden and kitchen now. It's given us an incentive to tackle the back border where we couldn't grow anything because of the trees.

LG - well done on getting a good sleep. I'm sure it's the way to minimise jet lag after such a long journey. Did you get a good welcome from Shiloh - and hubby of course!
