Enfys - well done on the gym session. It's dull here too, but I don't think it's going to get much better. Still, I'm happy if it stays dry.

Plant - I hope the scan results are good. It's lovely to get out and potter in the garden for a bit, isn't it, and so nice to see plants perking up and growing again.

I'm hoping for a quiet day pottering today - I've had enough drama of one sort and another just lately, and need some down time! I must be getting old. LOL

Good morning ladies.
Oma B that's good that B doesn't have to see the specialist nurse, you should be out of hospital sooner I hope. If you ever find yourself at a loose end I have a bathroom and kitchen that is waiting for a lick of paint. I have all the stuff ready to make a start , I can even supply endless cups of tea or coffee if required .
Enfys you put me to shame, going to the gym. I do a few exercises at home along with my yoga practice but I do cut corners, I really need the discipline that a gym would offer.
Plant hope the scan goes well.

Its a dull day here , I think we were spoilt with the nice weather we have had for the last few days. I hope the weather forecast is wrong for the weekend, we have GS's christening on Sunday so nice weather would be welcome.

Bone scan done, didn't take long, I think the car knows the way to that hospital.

Afternoon ladies , I'm having 5 minutes break , Hospital went well seen the professor again and he said there is no need to go back for 10 Days 😲😀😀😀😀 so excited having all that time off .
Well the only doing the paintwork has escalated as it does 😕
I decided the sitting room mirror a white french style will go in the hall , so we set too hung that then I realised the wedding photos of my DS & DD that hang next to the mirror the frames are the wrong colour and don't look right , so it's either buy new frames or spray the ones we have white , I have decided to give the spray a go as we have several tins in the shed ,if they don't look right then it's new ones , why I make more work for myself I will never know .
Also it's taken me 30 minutes just to hang a frame in my bedroom , me being me tried to put the two hooks it needed up by eye instead of getting the spirit level out , well after several attempts and lots of holes I accepted defeat and got the spirit level out that I should have done in first place , a lesson learned ,now I have holes to fill and paint over (sigh)

Oma, with all this painting malarkey it reminds me of something my dad told me when I was little.Mum and dad had exchanged their 3 bed house with another couple with a family. Mum was really excited as she said the house was decorated out from top to bottom, no need for any work needed on it for a while.....that was until the day they moved in and saw the house without the furniture. Apparently they had painted around ALL the furniture, the sofa, the sideboard even photo frames and mirrors!
Dad said it was an eyesore. They had to decorate the whole house from top to bottom !

Oma that's really good news about B.I'm so pleased,but what's with all the decorating etc?. B and Q must be rubbing it' s hands when it sees you coming. There's so much decorating that needs doing in our house but OH doesn't seem to notice or care that much as he's happy as things are and I'm sadly lacking in motivation and energy

Plant,bone scans take hardly any time these days. Years ago they took ages.

Mimi - that made me smile. We had a similar experience when we moved once. One of the bedrooms was wallpapered, and they had obviously put one strip on upside down, but it was behind a wardrobe so they'd cut out a piece to go over the wardrobe so it didn't show - until they moved out! They had coat hooks nailed to driftwood on the half landing - in the days when shabby was shabby, before it was shabby chic!

Oma - you must be over the moon that B (and you) have got another 10 days off. It's a good job with all that decorating and moving things around!

Clover - we can't get motivated to decorate either, although we'll have to when the builders have finished.

Gem - it's hard to keep up when you're on holiday, but nice to 'see' you anyway.

Good morning, Nanto and everyone. It's bright and sunny here too, but I think the week-end forecast isn't so good. We're off shopping first thing (not Oma's first thing, more like 8.30!) - just supermarket, garden centre and OH wants to go somewhere to get some sort of thingy for his woodturning, then back home, and hopefully it will be dry enough to cut the lawn before we lose Eva in it!!
