Very difficult situation Libra, it can't be allowed to go on disturbing you like that.

Oma what a strange lady, hope they can stop her stealing the wine, was it a super one.

I wish some of you lived nearer, my DGD is looking after a some horses and chickens, owner on holiday. Her parents are away and when I got back yesterday, her fridge had about a dozen eggs in it and she handed me another dozen today, they are coming out of my ears. Washed and dated now, will try and find some takers tomorrow. I am not allowed to have too many as I take warfarin but I must have a boiled egg tomorrow.

No Plant was just cheap plonk , when the young man on the till said she had done it once that morning and it was only about 11.30 first I thought well she has a problem then why didn't they follow her around the shop if they knew what she had done earlier ? And then we'll if she's getting away with it no the wonder she went back , The manager and two staff members just stood in the doorway and watched her go didn't try to challenge her on the forecourt , when I asked why the lad on the till said they didn't need too as there was so many cameras around when the police arrested her she couldn't deny it , I wouldn't have the nerve myself .
I bet those eggs taste lovely being so fresh xx

Your neighbour with the annoying dog can be stopped, you can purchase a citronella collar when the dog barks it gets a whiff of citronella and they stop . Don't know how they work, but they do. My friend had one for one of her shitzus as she was annoying her neighbours. Just think if people are out all day they should not have dogs or hire a dog walker to come in for an hour. All quiet here today thankfully, he must be in the house. I am aware it's not the poor dogs fault but we do not want to have to close doors/ windows and avoid sitting outside because of 1 inconsiderate neighbour.

Had a busy day, don't know where the time has gone.
Been to in laws and done the housework, came home and hubby's sister and hubby came.
Made something to eat,then went to friends house with hubby.
Called for yet more shopping on the way home.
Had a little bit of rain this morning,but has been quite sunny since.
It's been warm, but in a muggy way.

I had a letter from my surgery to contact them to make an appt. for a blood test. Used to be very simple just rang and an appt. was made. They have introduced an automated telephone system now and today was the first time I have had to use it, well try and use it. So many choices but couldn't hear one for blood tests, it said press this and press that, I eventually drove up there and asked them to run through it with me and apparently I had not registered option 2 on the first four options was to speak to someone. Feel sorry for some people who have less understanding than me and who cant drive up there. Oh I nearly forgot the final option was to contact the surgery, THAT WAS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO. We have lovely receptionists unlike where my DD family go to, they sit behind a screen and you have to ring a bell, no smile or greeting, just a look as if you were disturbing them and not at all helpful. That's my rant over, I feel a darkened room coming on.

Anyway. I have been out to lunch with my auntie, and had 2 clients here this afternoon
It rained all night and on and off today, but now the sun is out

It is probably easier to see the queen that get an appointment at some doctors surgeries Plant!

Plant we can order prescriptions and make appointments for Dr or nurse online now , we all have a log in number and pass code all great when it works but if the site is down we have to ring up and guess what they don't take repeat prescription over the phone , all well and good if you have a computer and a car but if not what are you supposed to do , not everyone lives in walking distance so have to get a bus just to put repeat prescription form in a little box and go back for it the next day after 3 , a lot for the elderly or people with children to drag along

Been out for tea to a local place a bit like Brewers fare or Toby , very nice but why do they put so much on a plate it all gets wasted , I chose a hot Turkey,stuffing & cranberry sandwich it came with chips ,salad and a huge portion of coleslaw . The chips didn't even get touched . Brian chose Chicken Tikka that came with Rice, chips, poppadom ,naan bread ,salsa, mango chutney, sour cream , needless to say most of that was left too , they pile the plates like the Americans do . It's very off putting you feel full just looking at it

I can make an appt. on line and order a repeat prescription but not a blood test. I have a code and when we get there we have to put our sex and date of birth and it confirms your appt.

Plant - how frustrating to go through all those phone options and not find the one you want. Sometimes modern technology doesn't make life easier, does it! Our surgery had an online system that you could only access when you had been to the surgery with about 20 lots of identification (none of them your National Health number). Then they took the system down again. Last time I went to the surgery I typed my appointment, date of birth and confirmed that I was female into the arrivals screen and it said I didn't have an appointment. So I went to the desk and the girl said "Oh, that doctor isn't on the system"!!! I think it's all designed to cut down appointment numbers!

We have had some rain during the night,but the sun is coming up now and it feels very warm.
Just housework for me this morning while hubby is out,but we will be doing some gardening later.

OH is going to Warrington overnight to take part in a golf tournament tomorrow. I have leftovers from Sunday night in the fridge, so an easy tea of cold pork with bubble and squeak for me

Lunch today with some of my bowling friends, be nice to have a chat with them as I am not back to bowling yet, soon I hope. Lovely sunny day so far.

Enjoy your lunch Plant. Is it indoor or outdoor bowling? My auntie belonged to a bowls club for many years. Only yesterday when chatting did I realise it was indoor, I had always pictured her playing outdoors!
